Pokémon Winds and Waves, revealed in today's Pokemon Presents, will be releasing for the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027. They showed off gameplay and the three starter Pokemon.
My top 5 favorite games:
1: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1
2: Pokémon Violet
3: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
4: The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening (2019)
5: Animal Crossing New Horizons
Mario Maker 2 Maker ID: MNH-8JB-PKG

There isn't really any information of note I can glean from this website other than that it shows the version exclusive attire. I personally prefer the Pokemon Waves outfit.

I wonder which country representation of Gen 10 with Winds and Waves.
I'm already thinking about GREECE by looking at the water building architecture and the windmill.
It could be other country with water and windmill, NETHERLAND.
@CobaltFan No, that was just showing nostalgia for each previous generation.
However, since this game seems to have an emphasis on the ocean and because cormorants live by coastal areas quite often in real life, it wouldn't be surprising if Cramorant was in the games.

I found from Google after I typed Pokemon Waves and Winds
"Based on early leaks and announcements, the upcoming Generation 10 games, Pokémon Winds and Waves (expected 2026/2027), feature a new, as-yet-unnamed region heavily inspired by Indonesia and Southeast Asia."
So Gen 10 will be representation of my country INDONESIA ?! 😯😯😯
If this region represent of my country Indonesia, I believe there will be something about Balinese or Javanese themed Pokemon in Gen 10.
I imagined Gamelan, Kecak, Hanuman, Barong, Keris, Batik, etc from Indonesia.
Shocked that they pushed this to 2027. Not only that, but supposedly the JP stream said it's mid 2027. They're actually listening to the people that want them to take their time. If the mid 2027 thing is true, I'm predicting Summer (maybe around June). The tropical setting for this game would make it an excellent Summer game.
Yeah, this is pretty much the Teraleak, but the game looks great, very exotic environments and the game looks polished so far as I can see. But then I'm not really a graphics connoisseur, so that doesn't say much.
Also they showed off diving, nice return for that. Hopefully it works more like a typical 3D adventure game where you can dynamically dive and resurface at will rather than "press A to warp to underwater map" like the older games. Although given that this is a 3D open world game, I suspect they will.
Not really impressed with the starters, they look fugly. I guess I'll choose the Fire starter, but the art design for these starters is not great.
@FishyS Yeah I was wondering that as well, I'm hoping they do bring in overworld captures from the Legends games. It's just too convenient a feature not to do.
@Anti-Matter Let's hope it's not a Game Key Card then, for your sake.
Please Arceus no. I am very concerned about some of the details in terms of how you can buy the game. GKCs is one, the other is that they might charge $80 for this. Hopefully neither of those happen, I'd strongly prefer a $70, fully physical release.

I'm a bit concerned about how they cut to black before showing the underwater section. That might indicate that it is separate. It could just have been for dramatic effect, but I don't know. Perhaps they need to separate it to keep a stable frame rate.
