Ya people don't always come through like this. I'll typically see a post from SwitchUp complaining of lack of gyro, and a ton of replies sharing that sentiment, yet none of them bother responding to the developer/publisher to voice their desire.

When Bioshock collection dropped, I was the ONLY ONE who responded asking for gyro aiming. And, as expected, it never came. But then you look at Doom, which originally released without gyro aiming, and it had tons of replies exactly like we see now with Fallout 4, and they quickly patched it in.

Here's to hoping we see a similar response for Fallout 4.

@JaxonH haha - that's great. Man, I wish that Bioshock got an update. I played through 3...but that's it (originally beat 1 on the XBOX360 and got through a lot of 2, but never beat it (or any of the DLC).
Hopefully we see gyro updates soon.

Well anyways, bought Xenoblade X upgrade...yeah all I'm seeing is just the usual aliasing and scaling issue. You see it in a lot of games...guessing the scaling will be fixed in an update. Aliasing is nothing new, though...

That said...ugh...I need to relearn how to play this game again, haven't touched it in forever. lol

I'm thinking it's going to be one of those situations where it depends on the game, the developer, whether they allow pre-loads and/or when their "updates" go live prior to launch (if at all).

Probably no reliable answer and will vary from game to game, meaning it'll be a toss up if you ever do get a GKC early. But that's pretty rare to happen anyways so Idk if we'll ever be able to test the theory and find out.

Yea, just kind of interesting. When I preorder games from GameStop, I would say over half the time I end up getting the game in the mail a day early.

Can confirm, it won’t let me play my game key card early.

Despite my best efforts… I’m pretty excited to see what they have to show for gen 10 tomorrow. I know getting my hopes up is a fools errand, but even just seeing new starters for the first time in four years is pretty neat

Does anyone know if leaf green and fire red will have any QoL features? I can’t seem to find any info on it. Might grab it as a palette cleanser every so often between RE9

@NintendoByNature It looks like it will probably be a straight port with no added QoL features... they didn't even combine the language options into one version. It has been suggested that they may not have wanted to change it because then it would need to be re-rated which would affect the age rating because of simulated gambling.

@NintendoByNature No, they're keeping it as original as possible to the GBA releases (with the exception of potential Pokemon Home support, though the mention of Home in the eShop page was removed).

That sucks. Did it at least let you download but just wouldn't play? Or not even the download would trigger? You tried manually selecting Update Software, and what did it say? "Software isn't released yet"?

Also was wondering if you insert a GKC without internet connected (say, while Airplane Mode is on), does the game's picture icon populate with the game's title on the home screen.

Couple people were curious about this because if so, you could probably update locally from another system with the game installed without any internet ever required.

If someone has a GKC that's not inserted yet and can test inserting in Airplane Mode, that would be good to know about too.

Huh, I wonder if it's a case by case basis on being able to play immediately or not on GKC :thinking:

That's what I figured, though I would've thought it would be consistent with pre-loads. Guess not. Seems the update triggered for GKC is separate from digital purchases.

Can't imagine getting retail copies early will be all that common though. So it probably won't matter much for the majority of gamers.

How the heck did they get a physical copy a week early though?

For Austin, I read through the twitter replies and someone said that he often gets games early? So it's possible that there's someone he bought from that consistently gave him a stock earlier (and also likely to pay more for it).
