@CJD87 Hell yeah! Same. Played it for 20 hours on Steam when it first released before going "ok, I'm going to love this to bits so I'm not going to play it too much like Hades 1 is, and I want it on handheld anyway" (I played Hades 1 for 10+ hours on Switch 2 and it was such an awesome feel. I had played for 100+ hours when it first released on EGS and that's why I know I shouldn't have done the same here)
@skywake Oh that's understandable especially with Steam Deck! I don't have any other handheld than my Switch 2 (and 1) right now, so I'm leaning far more toward just having a Switch 2 access
They say Monster Hunter Stories 3 is definitely no longer a handheld experience, but a proper big console experience. The MH World moment of the Stories series, so to speak. They also stress this doesnt feel like a side series anymore.
They played handheld on NSW2, apparently it looks phenomenal and runs great.

@JaxonH Did you see the RE Requiem Switch 2 gameplay from TGS? Game looks EXCELLENT, and it was handheld footage. I'm honestly beyond impressed with it.
Didn't know where else to rant about this, so I'll do it here. Something's been really bugging me about the original Switch since the Virtual Game Cards update back in April. Now, all of my digital games (except Tetris 99 and NES Nintendo Classics) have a game card slot to the left of their name. This doesn't bug me too much, but something happening because of it does. Whenever I enter the "All Software" menu, all of the games pop up, but then it takes another second for the game card slot of my current game to appear, which is kind of jarring to me. Not too big of a deal, but having to deal with it time after time is kind of annoying. Anyone with a Switch 2, does this all happen on that system, or does it all load at the same time?

Yes I did, and I was floored. Resident Evil Revelations was one of the best looking 3DS games, and Resident Evil Requiem seems to be one of the best looking Switch 2 games.
We're really seeing the power of this system start to shine. I can't believe we have a hybrid handheld Nintendo console that's running games like this. Cyberpunk, Star Wars, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Resident Evil 9... and it hasn't even been out half a year!
@ShieldHero
No lag on Switch 2. The OG Switch is just slow. Well, if you have hundreds of games it can still take a second to populate all software but its pretty quick and once its populated it stays populated, unlike Switch.
@Kairuuu
Congrats are in order. I know how exciting it is getting a new console, particularly Switch 2. FYI the 1TB micro SD Express is back on Amazon iirc. Highly recommended.

@JaxonH Thanks for the heads up! I'll keep an eye out on one, for sure. I've only got three games on the console at the moment but I'm sure I'll get a MicroSD soon-ish just to be on the safe side.

Oh man, I would be all over Alan Wake 2. I really liked the first game.
I’ve not played either but seems right up my street, I’ve noticed that the PS5 version comes with a remake of the first game so hopefully the same here!

I enjoyed Alan Wake 2 but it's definitely one of those games that feels more like it wants to tell a story rather than just lets you play it.
I'd think that it'd be a tricky port to the Switch 2, seeing as it doesn't run at all well on PCs of broadly similar spec. Certainly don't be expecting anything better than 30fps and with some heavy upscaling, but I don't think it should be in the realms of impossibility.
Alan wake 2 was such a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Actually was pretty terrifying in alot of sections due to visuals and sound effects. Hope more people play it, because I recall them not being happy with sales
@Haruki_NLI Has it actually been confirmed that the third entry (currently un-named) will come to Switch2? I know Rebirth was essentially confirmed, wasn't sure on third entry.
