@Gryffin That first suggestion is something I am 1000 percent for. Don't know if you play on Xbox at all, but quick resume is straight up the best feature on that console, and it would awesome to have on the Switch 2.
I’m hoping for the Switch 2 to have a quieter fan, especially for the dock if they give it one, because lately the fan on my Switch gets loud seconds after turning it on, and then it gets somewhat quiet again, but it can still be heard.

I don't, but I know of it, and likewise it's awesome. It's really just a PC minimizing different games. Pretty straightforward really. But I think it's best suited to Switch because you might want to jump into something quickly without shutting down Zelda for example
This one is more for System Settings: I’d say let us choose the variant of English, French, Spanish or Portuguese we want to use instead of having it be determined based on the Switch 2 region
So messing around with multiple devices with Steam installed lately got me thinking about one possibly niche software feature. Valve allows you to download games via the installation on other devices on the same network. So for example if I have a game installed on my desktop and want to download it to my Steam Deck instead of using my internet connection and downloading it at ~55Mbps it automatically transfers the game locally and I can download it at ~900Mbps or so
I think the main reason it exists is because of PC gaming culture and LAN parties being a thing. Undoubtedly this feature is something that makes such events possible without the internet just dying immediately. Even less well thought out ones that have a LAN cache setup
Would this matter in most circumstances? Probably not. Honestly I can only think of a few times during the Switch's run where this would've been useful for me personally. But I would think it'd come up enough to make a difference. Especially in multi-Switch households

You know how else to also have it work? If we purchase games digitally from the My Nintendo Store, it can also ask us if we want to download it on our Switch 2 right away (if we’re not near it)

Basically those languages should be split up into their regional variants (listed based on alphabetical order):
1. English (United Kingdom)
2. English (United States)
3. Español (España)
4. Español (Latinoamérica)
5. Français (Canada)
6. Français (France)
7. Português (Brasil)
8. Português (Portugal)
@skywake Similar to this but not quite the same, I'd like to see the system transfer functionality from Switch to Switch 2 return to how it was before Switch. When I did the system transfer on other Nintendo systems (Wii -> Wii U, 3DS -> 3DS XL -> New 3DS XL), I didn't have to redownload anything once the transfer was complete meanwhile going from Switch to Switch OLED was obnoxious.

Yeah. Just have everything there once it’s complete.
Along with that, have a whole transfer animation like with the Pikmin for the 3DS and Wii to Wii U transfers. I don’t want to see just the user icon(s) and a blue progress bar. I wanna see some motion going on through the Switch to Switch 2 transfer process.

Pretty sure this would only work for digital games, right?
@MrCarlos46 I think you'd be able to suspend the cartridge and multiple digital games at the same time. Shouldn't be a problem technologically. As long as the Switch isn't shut off.
Download Play for multiplayer titles (like on DS) would be nice. Would save families having to buy multiple copies of the same cart for multiplayer. Not sure exactly how it would work with a console that goes online, but maybe limit it to local multiplayer, or family group, friends list etc.
@MrCarlos46 Yeah, for games where you kind of need 2 or more consoles to play (or even where it might be better to play with 2 consoles rather than split screen. Can't remember exactly what the eShop download is called, but Clubhouse Games does this by the second player downloading a free app which is useless on its own (I think) but can be used for multiplayer if the other person owns the game.
Dang, looks like my wish for a 2nd (or 3rd) gamecard slot is not going happen.
The rumored joycons look like they're bigger with bigger shoulder thingies, so they'll be easier to hold. Wish partially fulfilled?
Wouldn't it be nice to have colored buttons again?
The latest theories really need to stretch given the leaked Switch 2 images don't look all that different from Switch 1. My favorite theories posted on X by some very obsessed people (complete with pics/videos):
Smell-o-vision joycons
IR-aiming, implemented by LEDs on the dock and those rumored sensors on the joy-cons
