I'm actually in middle of LA Switch for the first time right now! (I've played DX a few times though.) I'm surprised by how much I like this version, it's every bit as good as the original. On topic, they did a great job with the music - Tal Tal Heights was fantastic in the original, and the remake of it does not disappoint.

This week's addition is Fire Emblem Awakening! Didn't expect that one.

Unexpected, but a great addition nonetheless! Definitely one of my favorite OSTs on the 3DS

I bought Awakening after they announced the 3ds eshop was shutting down. Have yet to beat it though, someday I should.

Of the songs I’ve listened to so far, “But, Frederick, it’s nearly dark!” is really catchy (and yes, that’s the song title on the app).

Surprising for sure, but to my memory there hasn't been a new Fire Emblem soundtrack since Engage back in April over 4 months ago. Meanwhile, Xenoblade still has nothing 😭... Anyway, I'll definitely give this soundtrack a listen like usual!

@Croctopus Honestly, I'd be happy with the rest of Splatoon 3's music being added next week. I did notice some of my other favorites are missing... I liked the music they had for the Grand Festival as well. It'd be cool if they also added the Side Order music at the same time, but we'll see I suppose.

While my exact guess was wrong (that was just me throwing something at the wall), I see that my general logic of "just whatever" has held. Which lines up nicely for my prediction for next week...

I'm personally thinking that we'll be getting the soundtrack for Super Mario Maker, and/or Super Mario Maker 2 next week. (Ideally both, but you can never know what to expect with this app, lol.) Next week is the first game's tenth anniversary (the exact date is different in some regions, but it's next week everywhere), so it would line up nicely to double as a Super Mario 40th anniversary commemoration.

Oh hell yes! This is an S Tier choice for sure!

For this week, I'm going to guess the rest of the Splatoon 3 soundtrack. They might actually release this one on Tuesday (September 9, 2025) again, which happens to be the third anniversary of the game.

I will also guess the rest of Splatoon 3 for this week.

That said, I can also see us getting a Mario soundtrack this week for the 40th anniversary of the NES game. My two picks here are Sunshine or 3D World.

I said this already a few days ago, but I just want to reinforce my guess for Super Mario Maker 1 (possibly Mario Maker 2 as well) tomorrow. It's the game's 10th anniversary this week, and it would be a good way to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the overall series.

I'm going to predict Sunshine being added to NSO and Nintendo Music at the same time as part of the SMB 40th anniversary celebrations but it being added on Friday instead of the usual Nintendo Music drop time.

Like others have said, Mario maker OST would make sense due to the anniversary, but I’m still hoping for 3D world

As much as I'm hoping for 3D World, I'll guess the rest of Splatoon 3's music. I would imagine they would add a Mario soundtrack or three next week.

There's no better time to do it with the anniversary and the possibility of Splatoon Raiders news this week.

Yeah, everyone else has said the sensible guesses for this week already. Mario Maker and Splatoon 3 having 10 and 5 year anniversaries seem like the correct candidates.
I'll guess SM Maker and New Super Mario Bros Wii just to be different.
