Didn't Nintendo skip a week for adding a game soundtrack that one time? I think it was the weekend before New Year's Eve if memory serves me correctly, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

@MarioVillager92 yep, assuming they aren't simply a day late, this will be the second week NSO music has skipped and both during major Japanese holiday weeks.

This week's addition is Mario Kart 7.

Well that feels weird, though I can understand why if there's been a public holiday in Japan.

I was kinda wondering if it was 3DS, which felt weirdly lacking on this. In fact, has there been a 3DS game on this before now?

I’ll say Majora’s Mask again since we haven’t gotten an N64 game in a while, probably means we’ll get MM3D as well

I'm going to predict Kirby's Adventure. If the last week of May is going to be a really huge update due to Splatoon's 10th anniversary, it feels like earlier in the month is going to have some shorter soundtracks to balance it out. Kirby has also been the focus of NSO icons recently.

Since next week is Tears of the Kingdom because of the anniversary, I would imagine that they are going to do a short soundtrack this week. I am going to guess Metroid 2 from the GameBoy

This week will be Tears of the Kingdom because of the second year anniversary.

This is my favorite soundtrack of all time so I would be so excited if this is correct!

I wonder if they'll go back to the usual schedule after the 2 week disruption
