I've gone back to my classic avatar because I just couldn't stand looking at the 8-bit one being so messed up anymore. I'll bring 8-bit back when the site supports PNG format.

Isn't it possible at Nintendo Life to just link to your avatar on your own webspace or image hosting. I visit a lot of forums where that's prossible and I would be a solution for the JPG problem.
