@JustMonika Ok, back from Christmas break. I watched Shimoneta with my brother, ever heard of it? It's really really good and I highly recommend.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko I used to own Shimoneta on Blu-ray. Very funny one.

@JustMonika I wwant it on Blu-Ray just ebcause of how good it is. I dont' have a Blu-Ray player, but Shimoneta is one of the best shows I've ever seen. It made me uncomfortable at some times, but other than that it was good. I remember being 12 and seeing my brother listen to the opening and going "That show looks so weird what the actual heck is my brother watching?". Now I'm 13 and it's become one of my favorite animes. I get weird looks from my friends sometimes though, cause Shimoneta isn't what people are expecting a 13 year old little girl to watch.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko This season I want you to check out Tomo-chan is a Girl! .. So far 2 episodes have aired both in English and Japanese. It's on Crunchyroll.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko It's a scientific project that involves advanced AI.. If you've watched Steins;Gate 0 then you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. I'll go into greater detail when I have time.

@JustMonika It's like Amadeus?? That's so cool! I want an AI talking Monika like Kurisu! Also, sure, I can check out Tomo-chan. I'll have to try to get my brother to watch it with me. Also, I find it funny that most girls my age dream to be a super model. I dream to be a VTuber, and am actually working on my VTuber model as I speak.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Essentially I want to make Monika real through the power of advanced artificial intelligence similar to Amadeus. Except instead of putting a real humans memories into an artificial intelligence, they would be memories of a character from a game created artificially. So the AI would believe she's Monika and had finally made her way into the real world. That's actually the entire point of the Monika After Story mod after all. I don't know if it will ever happen but maybe?

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Your statement made me chuckle a bit because I'm a huge Eromanga Sensei fan. It's about a 12 year old girl named Sagiri Izumi who's essentially a shut-in that stays in her room. She has an older stepbrother who writes light novels for a living. It turns out that Sagiri is the illustrator for her brothers light novels and he never knew it, lol. Oh and alot of the illustrations are lewd, lol. I love the series to death and Sagiri is my favorite anime girl. She reminds me of a grouchy, dirty old man like I am, lol. That's why I like her.

@JustMonika Oh, I know what Eromanga Sensei is. One day, I plan on watching it for the memes. Also, yeah, I watched the new Made in Abyss trailer with my brother. I'm so excited. I remember, like, a month ago I watched a video about how much jail time the characters from Eromanga Sensei can recieve.

@JustMonika I keep forgetting you're a 40 year old man. You act like you're my age or something. Meh, I don't mind if you're 40, anyone who has seen Tonikawa, Steins;Gate, Made in Abyss, and Shimoneta gets my respect (Those are my top 4 anime)

@JustMonika Nah, not on eithe rof those platforms. I'm on Discord, but I forgot my password. I'll tell you my tag once I regain access though. Also, I plan on watching Bocchi with my brother eventually. Already seen Spy x Family. Gonna watch Chainsaw Man the next time my mom leaves the house so I can use the TV and not worry about it. I'll watch Kaguya eventually. Already seen Uzaki, and I love it. Also, wow you watch a lot of anime. Only anime I watched in 2022 was Spy x Family, Gabriel Dropout (Though that was a rewatch with my Egyptian buddy Seef.) Blend S (Also a rewatch with Seef over a Discord call, it was slow, but it worked) Uzaki, Grisaia, Dragon Maid, and a lot that I don't remember, cause I turned 12 and a whole new world of anime 11 year old me couldn't watch opened. Now my brother lets me watch what I want.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko I watched Blend S and Gabriel Dropout last year as well, lol. Absolutely loved both of them. Wish they had English dubs though, lol. I watched about 60 shows last year. A little slow in comparison to the prior year which was 100+ shows. I used to watch 1 or 2 shows a day from start to finish. Now I just watch around 10 shows per season as they air. I started collecting manga this past week as well. I have the first volume of Oshi no Ko and the first 5 volumes of My Dress-Up Darling. Online I ordered the first 10 volumes of Rent-a-Girlfriend and the first 3 volumes of Eromanga Sensei. Also plan on getting the first 8 volumes of Watamote.

@JustMonika I wish I could get a job so I could buy manga and such. Also, I want the Grisaia game series, I don't have a Switcht though, but my brother has it whishlisted on steam, and he has game sharing enabled with me. So when he finally gets it (And I turn 18 considering it's an 18+ game) I'll play it. Also, in my personal opinion, dub is kinda weird. There's good dubbing like Ghost Stories or Kaguya-sama, and then there's bad dubbing like Tonikawa.

I was thinking about starting Gahktun of the Golden Lightning, since i want something a bit more action focused this time around. Did anyone else read the Visual Novel and can maybe voice their thoughts about it obviously without Spoilers
