after reading the last page I discovered I'm not really a star wars fan... I like it but if anyone tries to test me they'll say I'm a poser for sure so I won't make big claims about being a fan and such....

@GustavoSF The only real requirement (for normal people who don't accuse others of being "posers" based purely on the fact that they don't know as much about Star Wars as they think they should) to be a Star Wars fan is to like it. Henceforth, I shall call you: a Star Wars fan.

I bet you all in a fake currency, that Vader (holds back fanboying at the thought of just seeing him in the show) will look something like this "animated" marquette of him; if the style of the Stormtroopers is anything to go by.
It is a dark time in the galaxy, as the evil Galactic Empire tightens its grip of power from world to world. As the series begins, Imperial forces have occupied a remote planet, ruling with an iron fist and ruining the lives of its people. But there are a select few who are brave enough to stand up against the endless Stormtroopers and TIE fighters of the Empire: the clever and motley crew of the starship Ghost. Together, this ragtag group will face threatening new villains, have thrilling adventures, and become heroes.
What? B-But that doesn't sound good to me! THIS SHOW IS GONNA SUCK. STAR WARS IS DEAD. >:[

@Mickey For me its the combination of a bigger, emoticon-like frown the "mouth" has and the slightly enlarged eyes. The sky blue coloring along the edges IS a nice addition though.
As for Vader, I wouldn't be surprised if that pic is relatively close to his final look, since the CG Clone Wars was heavily inspired by Genndy Tartakovsky's (yeah I googled his last name) art style for the 2003 Clone Wars micro series, after all.

This "ragtag group" better have Abso Bar Binks with them! >:L
Jar Jar may be too busy in the senate, and might not have much free time.
So I saw a bit of the old Clone Wars microseries from back in the day last night.
That was some of the best Star Wars I've seen in a long time! Why don't people gush about this series more often?
you mean the 2D cartoon? it was awesome!! in my opinion better than the 3D series at least....

I don't like to compare or pick favorites, but I think the 3D one became better in later seasons. Overall, The Clone Wars is better than Clone Wars (3D has a "The" before Clone Wars) mostly due to it having more episodes and time to develop its characters.
And Ahsoka was awesome later on, you've got to admit.

@Mickey that's true! I liked Clone wars(2D) better for having a more cool feeling to it. how to explain? I guess you could say more tension and less comic, or it's because I didn't watch The Clone Wars(3D) later on, when everyone says it gets better.

@GustavoSF I can tell you've only seen the early episodes of 3D Clone Wars since, again, later on there is a lot more tension and less comic. But really: both series were great, which is why I always think of the two Clone Wars series (along with a couple of video games) whenever I say the PT was worth it.

@Mickeysorry I meant comedy and wrote comic.... it's bad habit of mine mixing langueges and meanings of words... ^^'
I misunderstood what you wrote too... I'm too distracted today

Y'know I could tell George Lucas took a page out of Clone Wars' book in Episode III since Obi-Wan and Anakin were doing a lot less arguing and a lot more reminiscing (though George's bad habit of telling but not showing their friendship still shines through) about their various adventures. It's why I put it slightly above Episode II in my Star Wars list which consists of:
VI > V > IV > I > III > II
I'd put Clone Wars (both of them) in-between IV and I If I counted TV shows.
@GustavoSF Don't sweat it. The word comic is very closely related to the word comedy anyway so you were right in using it.
True story: in a Star Wars presentation, James Arnold Taylor (voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi in basically everything other than the actual movies) asked "what would you know me from? Well..." and he just sidetracks the entire Star Wars presentation by listing off almost every VA role he's ever played including roles that weren't even from Star Wars DURING A STAR WARS PANEL. XD
I lost almost all of my respect for him right then and there and I'd tell you he was an idiot that should be ignored if he didn't (immediately afterward) have such inspiring things to say about Voice-Acting and getting into Voice-Acting. He's almost like Yoda if Yoda took breaks in-between teaching Luke about The Force to brag about how he "totally pwned" Count Dooku and countless other Sith.
