I don't have enough time or money to keep up with all the comics I'd like to, but I've been really enjoying the new 52 reboot of the Batman series (not Batman INC, Batman & Robin, BlackBatman, etc--BATMAN). It's honestly the best Batman stuff since Year One. Yeah. I went there.
I'm not diggin' the Detective reboot so much, but I'm going to stick with it. The Dollmaker is too awesome a villain to back out at this point.
I was reading the Spider Island arc of Amazing Spider-Man and it was actually really great...just lost track of it for some reason. I'm hoping they'll publish it as a book at some point, I'd love to see how it all plays out. While we're on the subject, is the new Ultimate Spidey any good? I thought the way they killed off Peter was super unsatisfying.

Haha it's not actually Batman. It's Batwing and he's the Batman of Africa. I think it's a spin-off of the Batman INC thing. I would honestly love a black Batman, but the fact that it has to be this weird spin-off in Africa just turns me off to the whole idea. Like...why does the black dude have to be in Africa? Why couldn't Batwing be in Gotham while Batman is in Africa? I'll tell you why: RACISM

Also if you like comics check out the DC new 52. A great jumping on point as everything is new stories and has been rebooted expect batman and GL. no alternate universe crap or any thing like that. Every thing is in the same universe and treats it as such with references to other books.
on that note has anyone read Batman inc Leviathan strikes. Talk about a crazy ending leaving me ready for the book to return next year.

I really want to read Batman Inc. However, didn't it get cancelled because of the New 52? (Actually, didn't all series get cancelled?)
Not canceled but put on Hiatus. 1-7 came out a few moths ago. Today Levithian strikes came out which is issues 8 and 9 in one big book. The series is starting back up sometime next year as Batman: Leviathan and will see the conclusion of Grant Morrison's epic run.
Actually, the new one was issues 9-10. Leviathan Strikes had the most ridiculous ending. Good god, I can't WAIT for next year. I do really miss Yanick Paquette on Pencil duty, though. His artwork is superb.
Also, I heard that Batman Beyond was coming back. Anybody else hear about this?
On another note, I went in for my biweekly run. I picked up: Daredevil #6-7 Batman and Robin #4 Animal Man #4 Justice League #4 Supergirl #4 Captain Atom #4 Batwoman #4 Demon Knights #4 Frankenstein #4 Green Lantern #4 Catwoman #4 Deadman #4 Nightwing #4 Penguin Pain and Prejudice #2-3 Batman, inc. Yeah the new Batman beyond is kinda weird. It and Justice league are going to be weekly digital and come out in big volumes every month.
But Batman inc has crumbled too the ground. that ending I did not see coming. I knew we would find out who was beind it but taking out all his members was crazy. My favorite had to be the outsiders dying.

I know, it was just funnier to write Black Batman. And you know what? Screw that. He's Black Batman. There is literally no difference between him and Batman other than his skin color. For some reason he gets a different name. I just...ugh. Why do we need a black Batman? Why do we need a hispanic Spider-Man? I just wish they'd concentrate on making an interesting character first and foremost. It's just coming across like they're using race as a gimmick, which is pretty offensive.

Anybody still picking up Superman and Teen Titans? I'm not sure if I should cut them from my pull list or not.....
I dropped superman after issue #1 but still reading TT.
Opinions on it?
Superman was Decent but I was only reading it too check out what was happening in stormwatch.
Teen Titans gets unwarranted hate for being too 90s. The problem it had was that it was too slow to start. All the changed with issue #4 where you have Superboy vs Wondergirl and you get to see the rest of the cast interact.
That's the biggest problems with most of the the book's i've been reading where they were slow to start and now just getting started at #4.
