Speaking of DC, Robot Chicken is doing a DC Comics Special on Sept. 9th!

@Sony70 I only think 2 of those people should be in the justice league. And what happened to the originals?

They're all in the Justice League.
I wonder of the rumors are true that Geoff Johns is going to stop writing Aquaman after the new JLA title comes out, since he has a lot on his plate in terms or writing.

Is catwoman a hero now? I know she generally is whatever she feels like being, but in the justice league?

I always thought that Catwoman was more of an anti-hero. But, yes, I also find it odd that they would place her in the Justice League.

She's an anti-hero the way she's written in the current DCU. She's not an uber super villian and is just a thief that will double cross you if she needs too.

On the League question there are currently three justice league books

The main team

Though it looks like aquaman and green lantern are leaving. Also shazam is joining the team next month.

Justice League International which was a book about the UN starting their own league with a few things different. No aliens and all members secert IDs must be public knowledge. Pretty much a a response to the main justice league team not answering to anyone. Pretty average book but started reading when omac joined and its been good thus far. This month was the last issue of the series and their is an annual which will lead into the JLA Book.

And finally you have Justice League Dark which is honestly speaking only called justice league for the sake of sales and making a lame in joke deal. Its a team that deals with the crazy supernatural magically sections of the DCU. Not a book for everyone since its more of a slow burn (at least the first arc was) and can be a tad bit anti climatic. Still one of my favorite books.

The Issue 0's are interrupting my Batman The Dark Knight comics D:

Right in the middle of a cliffhanger in the middle of a story arc too!!!

I know. The new Batwoman arc started with a team up with Wonder Woman and JH williams back on art.

Excited for the Nu52 year 2 when it starts in October.

@Sony70 I saw enough old batman comics today at a flea market (in mint condition I might add) to make you cry. >:3 I should've taken pictures.

Love mint comics. But I also don't mind bending up comics and putting them in my back comic when I was a kid.

Random comic-relatedness — i finally saw X-Men: First Class today, and i have to say i was much more impressed with it than i expected. I'm curious as to where they'll go with the film franchise (aside from Wolvie movies), and whether they'll decide to cram some more films to fit in with Singer's trilogy continuity, or just go with an eventual reboot (which i would support if only so that maybe Cyclops could actually get some love this time around instead of just being basically a bit player).

But yeah, First Class was actually quite good. Liked it a lot.
