Looking forward to Justice League Dark tbe most. With Lemire on helm the book has gotten a little more fun and direct than miligans arc. I,vampire has been consistently good and I like the ideas they have for van helising. Teen Titans seems to be spinning. Mqybe its becuase I havent read the whole culling crossover but the book has been boring and the next issues seem to be origin stories.

You can jump on with Spidey about now actually, as they just finished up the "Ends of the Earth" story-arc (wherein Doc Ock re-united the Sinister Six, took out the Avengers, and unleashed a plan to fry the globe before — of course — being thwarted by Spidey. 'Twas a great storyline). If there's any confusion on some of the finer points of Spidey-verse's current status quo, i can help you out.
As far as the sidekick thing — while that's how it's being reported/promoted, i think it's going to turn out to be less of the typical "sidekick" thing, and more of a "Spidey as mentor" stroy thread. Apparently Andy gets his powers as a result of a Peter Parker-lab experiment, so Pete's out to make sure Andy understands the "with great power ..." mantra.
He crippled Batgirl. He killed Robin. What will The Joker do next? And what must Batman do to protect his secret identity and that of those who fight alongside him?
well that new batman arc will certainly be interesting. Im probably going to pick it up, but that means I'll have to drop a book. Might drop World's Finest if it doesn't click for me
FF6: Release year- 1994 Kefka's birthday - November 9th So.... my life is practically mirroring Kefka? Cool.
Seems possible and the timing seems to mirror that of the first justice league arc.
I don't mind that they're not going to reboot the Green Lantern franchise with a new Lantern; The ending to the first movie pretty much set it up for a sequel that could possibly be better than the original in every way, shape and form.
I'm not too keen on the whole "dark" approach that they're going with. The reason that The Avengers worked so well s because it looked like a movie everybody could enjoy and watch. If they're pandering towards the more adult crowd, then they're alienating a large market, that could possibly bring in tons of money via merchandize and such.
I'm glad that "The Batman" isn't going to be another origin story, though, I'm a little curious to see if it's going to bare any similarities to Batman: Year Two.
Out of all of the films that will tie into the JLA film, the ones that I'm most excited about are the Wonder Woman and The Flash films. These two characters haven't really had much attention in film and television (live-action) like Batman and Superman. Yes, I know that both Wonder Woman and The Flash have both had live-action shows in the past, but they haven't had a proper representation in the 21st Century, so it will be great to see these two characters on the big screen.
Seeing as Comic Con is right around the corner, there's a good chance that more info will start popping up about these films.
Surprised they are thinking of going with a lobo movie in the first batch of films. Seems like ot would be a 2nd arc film like guardians of the galaxy.

I'm wondering if the idea of having Lobo is kinda like Marvel deciding to have Hawkeye — a character that is very well known by the comics fanbase, but not really known (if at all) by the "mainstream".
In October, the Guardians' Third Army rises to replace the Green Lantern Corps - but how is horrifying and why will change the Guardians and their ancient mission forever. As we discover what the Third Army actually means, our strongest Lanterns are targeted for absolute destruction. From Atrocitus to Guy Gardner to our newest Green Lantern from Earth - who may have been wrongly chosen - all their darkest secrets and failures will come to light.
So looks like event season is starting. Im enjoying these line wide crossovers much more that. The company wide ones. I'm expecting events for the other DC lines announced this week. (Superman, Dark, Edge, Justice League, Young Justice

I'll take a movie version of Lobo as the Space Pope over any of the flagship DC movies that Warner Bros. will eventually make.
So this has thread has been pretty dead and I want to try and revive it.
So this weekend DC announced a new book slated for release in early 2013.
Justice League of America by Geoff Johns and David Finch
The lineup consists of (from left)
Vibe
Catwoman
Steve Trevor
Green Lantern
Martian Manhunter
Stargirl
Katana
Hawkman
Green Arrow
Will probably be better than the current League Book written by johns as well. The cast seems to consist around favorites of his and no batman for him to screw up.
