So what is everyone pulling this week?

Just Batwoman and Frankenstein. Was going to pick up part 2 of justice league beyond for .99 but the indie game music bundle poped up

Also about to go thru the first 5 trades of Invincible again .

Also im reading crossed and wow. I know that Garth Ennis was ****** by reading the boys but wow. I really hope he doesn't go all crazy and brutal in his shadow series.

It's amazing how comic books keep getting darker and more mature, but when they're turned into movies and cartoons, they tone down all the adult themes.

What exactly is wrong with making an R-rated Batman film? They do it in the comics, so why not adapt it to the big screen?

Because Batman isn't an R rated character. The only times he has been beyond year 1 is by that Hack Frank Miller. The Nolan films batman begins in particular pretty much line up exactly with the comics.

So in may every batman book expect detective comics and Batwoman will be apart of the night of owl events,

In the past month I've suddenly decided to start reading comics, mainly Batman comics, since he's my favorite superhero.
So far, I have read Batman: Year 100, Batman: Year One, Batman: Knightfall Part 1, The Dark Knight Returns, Batman: The Long Halloween and Tales of the Batman.

Currently, the first five issues of the new 52 Batman are sitting in my mailbox, but, sadly, I don't have the keys, and I have to wait until my dad gets here so that I can read them.

I think it should be on the digital front. If i remember right, DH has been fully embracing the digital comics thing (especially with the SW books), so i'd expect it to pop up.

I'm defintiely psyched for the book — not the least of which is because it's being done by John Ostrander and Jan Duursema, arguably the overall best creative duo in SW comics.

Dark Horse uses their own werid format and doesn't go through comixology or even Graphic.ly. (going anything but comixology is pretty much suicide)

Great week, in my opinion. My favourite book was either Batman, Daredevil, or Peter Panzerfaust. How about you guys? Find anything spectacular this week?

Batman Was the Higlight of the week for me. Loved seeing the tables being Turned on the court of Owls and them just shaking it off like nothing happened.

DCU presents reminded alot of what dido is doing on omac. Its an old style writing with a modern twist.

Also picked up some transformers stuff but haven't read it yet,

I'm thinking of catching up with Justice League Dark as well as Red Hood and the Outlaws. Shingi, you've been reading Justice League Dark right? How is it so far?

Its Good. Not really plot centric as its more character based. It's a fun somewhat depressing book featuring the most depressing people. My only misgiving is that it ruins the Deadman/Dove relationship that made me a fan of the characters. It does so in a believable way but it seemed like it was done to add drama to the climax to the end of the arc.

Not sure if your also reading I,Vampire (best of the relaunch) but the next arc of JLD will be a crossover with I,Vampire until #9 when Lemire takes over.
