@Mariotag I did complete Tooie but on the Xbox, though I didn’t get all the collectibles because of this stupid race they inserted near the end. I prefer Kazooie more over Tooie, mainly because I found Tooie was a bit too big and difficult. It sounds really awful with your games and consoles being damaged and moved off from the TV just because someone else was upset…I would be super angry if someone did that to my stuff, especially video game consoles, since those are extremely expensive and can be hard to fix in the case they get damaged or destroyed.

Yeah, I find that when playing FEH, Yuri is an extremely helpful dagger unit, usually when most of the enemies on a map are gone and there is only one far away enemy left, I have Yuri go up and defeat the enemy, or when there is an enemy surrounded by other enemies, I have him attack one close by him and then have him get away to safety, but yeah, I do need to be careful using long range units a bit. I mostly just use close range units like Dimitri and Ratatoskr to attack, and I have an axe variant of Fjorm who usually stays behind while my other three units attack, but she has been very useful when it comes to defeating harder units like Axe Knights, which do significant damage to my Dagger and Beast units when they attack up close.

I see, I never really used Miiverse besides making a few drawings on there, in fact, I never actually downloaded social media until earlier this year in February. I avoided social media for years mostly cuz I wasn’t interested in it but also because of how some people are toxic and very negative online, especially on Twitter/X. All I really do is show artwork on there and that’s it.

I didn’t know grinding in Genshin was like that, I feel like I would dislike grinding in that game way more in FEH.

@Mariotag ...Still not sure if I'd try Ender Lilies in that case. Maybe eventually. I like games to be challenging, but there's definitely a threshold between actual "improve your skills" challenge, and artificial challenge due to either bad game design or games that are ridiculously hard to extend playtime and/or make you feed more coins into an arcade machine (I'm looking at you, late 80s/early 90s games....).

NNK DS sounds like a fun original take of the game, though I'm admittedly not one who likes using the touch screen much. Not an issue on an emulator I'm sure if there's a way to simulate the touch screen.

I do like Echoes of Wisdom and have put in half an hour here or there since last time, but I've still been very busy IRL lately. And I'm also investing some time in the Famicom Detective Club games too. Glad that FEH's writing did get better, though I'm not sure I'll ever go back to the game. I do like Pokemon Go overall - it gives me something to do when out running errands or speedwalking - but I will admit the game is more heavily monetized than it was previously. It's still fully possible to play without paying a dime, but there are a few paywalled exclusives once in awhile.

@Pastellioli Come to think of it, I haven't seen any crane games in a Walmart for a long time either. They used to have kiddie rides at my local one too. I typically see crane games, gacha stuff, stickers, etc. at restaurants. Some of the better stuff like arcade racing games and pinball are at bowling alleys, the occasional bar & grill, movie theaters, etc. Some places will let you buy plushes straight from the machine in my experience, but others don't allow it.

You're making me wonder if Fire Emblem Heroes's writing is comparable to Fire Emblem: Engage lol. I know the latter has amazing gameplay, but the plot from what I've read isn't its strong suit. Haven't played FE:E yet though, so I don't know the specifics. Sounds like FEH isn't completely boring at least. It also sounds like they do try to introduce original characters but toss them aside when their section is done with. Which, to be fair, isn't too uncommon in RPGs, but that's more an issue with some older titles I've played. I'd think this would be less likely to come from a modern game...at least from a quality series like Fire Emblem.

I really wanted to like Cadence of Hyrule and even tried the game more than once; via its demo the first time, then through its NSO trial some time ago. I'm just not into needing to move to the beat, at least not effectively; I even tweaked some settings from suggestions I saw online, which did improve my experience a little. But the game still didn't grip me.

I've not watched all the Chaos Wars clips out there, but the voice acting kills me. Karen is my favorite just due to how bored and uninvolved she seems to be. I actually haven't seen that clip and think it's indeed cringe-y lol.

@Sunsy Karen is almost always the funniest in any clips I see from the game due to how bored and uninterested she always sounds lol. I'm gonna have to look up that Sonic Adventure voice bit; it sounds like it's very deadpan.

Conversely, I love garlic bread, so feel free to send some my way next time I hunt vampires.

@Pastellioli Well, I don't think the consoles are damaged, or the games, but because of the situation, I haven't been able to set it back up again. The fact the person in question was my own mom makes it worse... I am indeed super angry. They were my retro systems. And on top of that, it was one of the few areas in the home I live in I felt particularly safe in. Regarding Kazooie vs Tooie, I agree that collectathons suffer from larger areas. Yooka Laylee showed that.
Genshin grinding sucks.
Social media has plenty of toxicity. I was thrilled when I finally got my twitter feed to be only stuff I wanted to see. But then ppl started moving to bsky. Miiverse only had the toxicity if you looked deeper.
I particularly like FEH's Ratatoskr. Among other units. But at the same time, now you have the stupid Felix unit, who in addition to being a tank, can just move to an empty space, and be like, okay, I think I'll move again. The danger area no longer really helps with units like him.

Mariotag

Mariotag

@Tyranexx Eh. Ender Lilies big artificial difficulty is this stupid toxic mist. It's not necessarily as hard as something like Castlevania, where you basically need to learn each room, and boss, and work out the most effective way through. Been playing lots of that lately.
I know next to nothing about NNK DS tbh, just where it ends in comparison to the expanded game, the fact it used the touch screen for spells, with some fakes to keep you careful, and that it's Japan only.
I never tried Famicom Detective Club. Not a big fan of visual novels much.
Pokemon Go is like, my big contentious issue. My younger bro is obsessed with it too much, and I never get out enough to regularly play. Even then, when I'm out, there's very little walking around. I went out twice for the game. The first time, I destroyed my shoes walking across the railroad tracks, the second, I fell over sprinting to a gym, and destroyed my leg. Not interested in continuing that trend, and am still being pestered to play on a regular basis.
Echoes of Wisdom is neat. Closest to classic LoZ we've had in a while. It's got a sort of open world, but unlike BotW/TotK, it's a good open world that doesn't feel stupidly empty.
Cadence of Hyrule is a game I wanna beat. Got it a while ago, but have trouble making it anywhere because of mechanics.
FE Engage was honestly cringe with its writing. Your main character is regarded as divinity, in spite of being a self insert, so your entire army is basically like, "Oh Divine One, please sign my rear!"
It has a few twists, but is honestly lame. And the level scaling could do with a little work to make it so you can raise units up.
Your comment about arcade games is basically the OG Castlevania Haunted Castle in a nutshell. Except the game limits how many times you can put credits in...

Mariotag

Mariotag

Actually, now that I think about it, firstly, should mention, Dominus Collection Haunted Castle does have the option of unlimited credits.
Secondly, about FE Engage, while the plot ended up being just cringe, it did have me theorizing where it was going throughout. I had some ideas, but unfortunately, they were wrong.
The "Their lives after" segment of the ending made things somewhat depressing too, not to mention a very loose thread from the ending.

@Tyranexx I didn’t even know that some Walmart stores used to have kiddy rides, all I saw were about two crane game machines near the entrance and exit. I maybe used it once and didn’t get anything lol. There was a car wash and I remember it having an arcade game section and I played a few of those. I can’t remember what games they were, but I think one of them was this bubble shooter game called Puzzle Bobble with those cute looking dinos. It’s very rare to see entertainment machines and stuff in stores nowadays, at least for me.

I never played Engage, but all I remember hearing was that it had a very weak story compared to previous entries, but I’d assume Heroes has worse writing than Engage. FEH does have nice gameplay but the writing is still eh and not amazing. I just finished the current Book, and I am curious to see what the next book will be, cuz although I do think the stories have more weaker writing, I do like the themes they use for the Books. I did like the dream theme in Book IV as well as the past, present, and future theme in Book VIII, and they did have some concepts I found interesting.

I see, sometimes rhythm games can be super frustrating, I find it super hard to get used to playing games like that with controllers since I also sometimes forget where the buttons are, plus with rhythm games, you have to keep your eyes on the screen at all times so you do well and pass the song. It can get stressful for me at times because of that, especially when I play co-op in my rhythm game on my phone.

It is so funny, I think the clip is even more hilarious since I actually don’t know the plot of Chaos Wars at all. It’s funny because in that clip, from what I got from the dialogue and can recall, the heroes I believe are affected by this kind of gas this evil guy used that makes them feel like they can’t move, and Uru and Karen sounding bored and unworried about it is hilarious. The comments on that video just make it even more funnier. I think the not so great voice acting in that game is why it’s so well-known rather than the contents of the game itself.

@Mariotag I understand, I am hoping that you are feeling okay after what happened.

I thought that Kazooie did a good job striking a balance between worlds that were not small but also not big, and it felt very easy getting all the collectibles. However, I thought Tooie was way more difficult and that the world, although impressive and cool, were too big and it sometimes felt that I wasn’t making much progress while going through the worlds, it’s kind of why I dropped a recent replay of the game cuz I didn’t feel up to it. I haven’t played Yooka-Laylee, but I did hear of the game design being kind of poor, hoping that the remake they are working on does fix that, since I am considering maybe playing it if it does fix issues the original version had.

I like Instagram’s algorithm a lot and it usually gives me posts of stuff I am interested in, that being art and games. I’m not sure about Twitter/X’s algorithm since I’ve never used it, but I am now hearing that a lot of people are leaving that site now and they are starting to realize how negative and toxic it is. I remember hearing about the significant changes to Twitter/X in the news a few years ago and it sounded like the site was getting worse unfortunately. All social media is toxic, even Instagram can get sort of toxic on some posts that it recommends me.

Ooh, that new Felix unit sounds broken. I haven’t actually encountered him at all since I only picked up FEH again two weeks ago after a really long hiatus, but I think I have heard of some units being overpowered or too broken in there alongside the Felix unit. Whenever I play, I always use the danger area so I know where to strategically place my units, I remember when I started FEH I never really used the danger area and just placed units wherever I thought was good, which kind of wasn’t a good strategy at all when I was a new player.

Hope you're all doing good, the burn I mentioned earlier has been healing well. Been busy with some stuff as usual and also been playing Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Liking the game, by the way.

@Pastellioli Dang, that sucks that the disconnects happen a lot. That's gotta be frustrating to deal with, especially when others disconnect on purpose. A song being "too popular" sounds like a ridiculous reason, lol. About this bar thing you mentioned, I'd hate if that happened to me too. My phone has a similar thing where if you swipe from part of the right side of the screen, you'd see a little menu that shows the apps on it.

I just remembered. Years ago, I've come across players in Splatoon 2 who would have 0 points at the end of Turf War matches, and it was frustrating to deal with. Though I didn't think they possibly disconnected, I thought they were just throwing matches. Lol, I remember that "connection is unstable" message. One of my Grand Festival matches in Splatoon 3 saw me have that message for a few seconds, but miraculously, I didn't get disconnected! I got lucky there.

Yeah, I don't typically play games based on anime or manga either. Though a while back, I did also play Dragon Ball FighterZ via the game trial that NSO had. It was a decent fighting game, but just like with many other fighting games, I'm kinda bad at it. I had a friend from school who was into Dragon Ball Z, as well.

@Sunsy Oh shoot, thank you for reminding me about Trolls. December 6 is when it goes away, huh? Looks like there's still plenty of time at least.

Thank you, it's been healing, and it doesn't hurt anymore. That's cool you wore a Trolls wig. I actually did something similar for my birthday this year, where I would wear my Club Nintendo Mario hat! I haven't dressed up for Halloween in a long time. Didn't really play any spooky themed games.

I've always been curious about the Satellaview service too. I'd still like to play the Zelda game that was exclusive to that service, called Ancient Stone Tablets. Maybe it'll get remade at some point.

That's cool, I found myself having movies in the background while I play my Switch in handheld mode. Recently, I've had Frozen II showing on my TV, while playing Mario & Luigi: Brothership. I also had Tangled running in the background. I've used the Nintendo Music app while doing some housework, too.

That's good, Pac-Man World 2 is a game I've been missing, haha. I never had the first PlayStation during its heyday. I think one of my uncles had one, I remember seeing Crash Bandicoot 2 and one of the Croc games being played. Didn't have a Sony console until I got the PS2. That's cool, I've not played Ghostly Adventures. I think the last one I played that wasn't arcade-styled was the aforementioned Pac-Man World 2.

On Trolls, thanks. Thanks again for letting me know when it'll get removed, too.

I might try out the classic Wolfenstein games at some point, since I do like the first Doom. I did see that Alarmo article you've shown, I just knew they were gonna make it run Doom! That game can run on nearly anything, lol. That's cool, I'd say Powerpuff Girls was my favorite Cartoon Network show as well. It did have Hanna-Barbera reruns when I was a child too, that's how I got to see the old Scooby-Doo cartoons.

Nice, speaking of which, I've been playing a lot of the Koopathlon mode in Super Mario Party Jamboree. That mode is so much fun. Although I'm not great at a couple of its minigames, lol. It's been a long time since I played Super Mario Party, but I'm pretty sure you could just play the minigames while you're playing with friends online as well.

@Tyranexx Thanks for your concern. It's been healing, and it doesn't hurt anymore. Oh that's cool, I've not seen Hocus Pocus. Did you happen to like it? My mom told me that she doesn't like one of the actors in it. Agreed on The Nightmare Before Christmas, it can be a little weird at times, but it's a good one for sure. I like the mayor and Jack's minions in that movie, lol.

I did see you're playing Echoes of Wisdom, hope you're liking it. I did have to drop Banjo-Tooie, at least for now. The game's slow pacing and backtracking got me. It was a good time to start playing Mario & Luigi: Brothership, which I am liking.

I can see why, I didn't like that tilt-a-whirl since it spun way too fast for my liking. I'd have to have my eyes closed shut too so I don't get dizzy. I have a fear of heights too, and I'm also sensitive to high speeds... especially on downward inclines, and as you've mentioned earlier, spinning rides. Good to hear on the kitten by the way.

For a 90’s kid like me, Hocus Pocus is good nostalgic fun- but it’s definitely kind of dated in its humour.

If you can look past the awkward bits and questionable details though, it’s still a fun Halloween romp.

@MarioVillager92 Yeah, the disconnects are also one of the reasons why I don’t really play the game online alongside how I don’t really have any time to play games online. I like all the songs in the game even though I may play some songs more than others, so I would play any song that the game would pick in co-op. Yeah, sometimes players have ridiculous reasons for disconnecting and throwing matches. There are these types of trolls that people encounter while playing Colorful Stage and they throw matches if the game doesn’t pick a song with a specific difficulty level, and if the game or players select and vote for a song that has a lower difficulty level than that, the person intentionally ruins the match for the other players they are with by not playing once the song starts or disbanding the second a song they don’t want to play is selected. I never encountered those types, but they seem very frustrating, and they literally have their names as something like “Lvl 31+ or I throw”, they must be the worst kinds of players to encounter on there. The bar thing that happened when I would play was annoying, but luckily I haven’t had that happen to me recently while playing. It really just shows up when I flick the screen while playing.

I never really encountered players in Splatoon who threw matches, maybe a few times, but I can’t remember a specific situation for it. The connection is unstable message is so frustrating, I remember at one point my internet was so bad and would disconnect at the worst times so it was kind of a gamble to play Splatoon online. I remember playing 3 a few years ago during Anarchy/Ranked Battles, I was doing Tower Control, and we were winning but the internet disconnected me. I connected the Switch back to the internet, started a new Tower Control match, only for my internet to disconnect only a few seconds in. I luckily won the remaining series of battles despite losing 2 of 3, but it was so upsetting that my internet did that because I got worried it would give people the idea that I threw the match out of frustration, and it’s sometimes hard to tell if a player disconnecting was on purpose or on accident. That Grand Festival thing sounds like a miracle, it reminds me of what happened in that Splatoon 2 match I mentioned where I got that connection unstable message and stayed while almost all of the players got disconnected.

I am really bad at traditional fighting games lol. I’m used to the ones with simplified controls and have platformer elements, like Smash Bros., so I would always go for a fighting game like that. I don’t really play any anime games since I’ve never watched the anime or read the manga most of those games were based on. Again, JoJo was the only anime fighting game that I have played in recent times, but I’ve only watched the first season of the anime as well as an original video animation for it, so I don’t know a majority of the characters in that game.

@Pastellioli Yeahh, all social media is kinda toxic. For Twitter, I've continued to hope. The whole AI thing, has really messed stuff up though. I've never really used Insta that much myself.
FEH units started getting broken with the release of 3 Houses. They decided to make those units a decent bit stronger than existing ones, and snowball effect.
Yooka Laylee had these expansive worlds where lots of stuff was hidden, it was easy to get lost, and to top it off, you could toggle aspects of the world. For example, the first main area had a weather mechanic that restricted access to certain areas and events.

Mariotag

Tyranexx

@Mariotag Ew, toxic mist. That isn't a mechanic I miss in games without it lol. Still, Ender Lilies is maybe an eventual purchase.

I'd call the Famicom Detective Club games more akin to adventure games, similar to how the investigation sections run in Ace Attorney. But it is a decent amount of reading like VNs. Though the FDC games are fairly short compared to some of those.

It does seem you've had some bad luck with Pokemon Go. The best I can suggest is playing on level paved areas and keeping track of your surroundings. I am no stranger to self injury, though thankfully my last ankle roll was mild. I do want to put in more time to Echoes of Wisdom when I get the chance. Definitely this week sometime once I wrap up some Xmas shopping and other errands. FE Engage will be a good time in the gameplay department I'm sure, but I will admit I'm not expecting much on the story front. "Oh Divine One, please sign my rear!" had me laughing. XD

I need to grab the Castlevania Dominus Collection sometime too.

@Pastellioli Walmart did occasionally have kiddie rides WAY back in the day lol. I loved riding on that stuff. Yeah, entertainment machines still exist in some places, but it really depends on where you are. The advent of smart phones has made some physical cabinets less relevant for young kids when it comes to entertainment too.

I think Fire Emblem Engage's gameplay will save it for me, at least from non spoilers I've read. It sounds like Fire Emblem Heroes does have some merit past what little I've played, but I think I'm happy just leaving the game on the table for now. I have more than enough going on lately anyway. I've barely had any free time to game and haven't been doing much of it over the past month at all.

Yep to all that on rhythm games. On Chaos Wars: I know little about the game, but from what I understand it's supposed to be some kind of RPG mashup involving characters from different franchises (I think). But yeah, the VAs sounding completely uninterested in what's happening to them is hilarious! XD Supposedly the game isn't bad gameplay-wise, but the game has unfortunately went down in history for its bad voice acting. Some people play it with the Japanese VA work since that's apparently much more tolerable.

@MarioVillager92 I'm glad that burn is healing well and doesn't hurt anymore! I actually liked Hocus Pocus despite the film's age and never having watched it before. Now I hope to watch its recent sequel eventually. I love The Nightmare Before Christmas, though I admit I haven't watched that one this year yet despite owning the DVD. At least it's a good fit anytime from October through December!

I've actually barely touched Echoes of Wisdom due to how busy I've been lately. However, my schedule is (slightly) more normal this week, so I should fit in some gaming now and then. I've almost finished with Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir - I'm on the last chapter - so I'll probably take a short break from that series and mostly focus on Zelda before starting The Girl Who Stands Behind. Sorry you had to drop Banjo-Tooie, though I fully understand your described frustrations and think I'll also give the game a miss. I'm glad you're enjoying the new Mario & Luigi in the meantime.

Yep, fast spinning rides definitely mess with my equilibrium. Heights conversely don't bother me as long as I have something securing me from falling to the ground. I did try zip lining for the first time on my vacation this year and LOVED IT! The kitten is still doing good last I checked. ^_^

@Mariotag I am disappointed to hear about how Twitter/X has kind of went on a downward spiral in terms of quality and the set of rules and etiquette there, which I think definitely didn’t help with the behavior of some users on there.
Instagram is kind of better with its userbase (though I won’t deny that it’s negative and toxic at times), but the AI stuff going on with that app and some of the other social media sites really bothers me, there was this thing going on with Instagram artists on there since at one point Meta announced that they were training AI on all posts on there, including artwork, and did so without giving the artists credit or getting permission, and some people did not have the option to opt their posts out of AI training. I remember trying to post an artwork there and the site for some reason was marking it as an AI post and it annoyed me so much I kept having to delete the post repeatedly just to get that stupid AI marker out. The AI thing affects digital artists the most, and I’ve unfortunately seen them get accused of using AI in their art and then the artists having to provide proof even though they clearly show that no AI was used in the pictures.

I see, I do actually have some Three Houses units that are really strong and sometimes overpowered, one example coming to my mind being a Choose Your Legends variant of Dimitri, and although I use Yuri a lot too, he is weaker than Dimitri and can be defeated more easily, though that mainly comes from his class and the powers and abilities he has being smaller and weaker than the ones I have Dimitri.

It sounds like Yooka-Laylee kind of did the big level design from Tooie from your description. I think I wouldn’t have much fun playing Laylee since I think that Tooie’s gigantic level design is kind of a detriment to the game a little bit (mainly because progression feels slower from the big worlds and you can get kind of lost in there) and I wouldn’t have much fun if I played Laylee and possibly had to experience something similar to that. Apparently, I heard Laylee repeated this game show segment at least three times instead of once (from what I heard, please correct me if I’m wrong) and if I am being honest, I’m not a huge fan of the game show levels the Banjo games had even though the idea of the game having a trivia segment just before the final battle is interesting and hilarious, and from what I heard from others, it sort of sounds like Laylee did some things wrong and maybe worse than it’s spiritual successors. I do hope the remake fixes that stuff and hopefully reduces the amount of game shows in it.

@Tyranexx I really like the small gaming areas some places used to have, it just seemed like a nice, comfortable space to relax and have some fun time while you wait for something, and it is sad to hear that arcade cabinets and game spaces have been getting less and less popular. I mostly prefer to play games on console or phone and it’s been years since I last used an arcade cabinet, but I like it when there is a lot of options and ways for people to play games, even if one way to play games is more popular than the other.

It’s fine not playing Heroes, I think its a okay mobile game and is definitely not the worst, but it’s not a game I’d play on a daily basis compared to other mobile games on my phone. Though, when I first started playing Heroes I played it a lot, but not anymore though. Not having a lot of free time to play stinks, I didn’t know that you haven’t really been playing games at all! I’m kind of like that recently, I haven’t picked up my playthrough of Yo-kai Watch 2 since early October or touched the Switch or Xbox in a bit and just been sticking to small game sessions on my phone, cuz I think that fits my schedule more right now. I am hopeful that I’ll have more time to game later in the month and in December, since that’s around Christmas and December is the time most people are off of work and relax for a bit. I think I’ll have way more gaming time next month, and I’ll likely play Yo-kai Watch again and Rare Replay on the Xbox, I have a few games that I want to play again and some games I want to complete, but one of them is definitely not Conker’s Bad Fur Day.

I also don’t really know about Chaos Wars too, it’s interesting that the voice acting completely overshadowed the actual quality of the game and even made the game way more memorable, though in a more hilarious and “so bad it’s good” way. I can remember reading a bit on the English Wikipedia about the game and tried to read a lot summary of it, but the summary wasn’t completed and was a bit more of a premise of the game.

@Pastellioli Interesting. So it wasn't just Twitter that forced AI training?
As for my experience with Twitter, it was always toxic imo. Granted, I didn't start till like, 2016 or 2017, (or even later) but I don't recall it ever being truly sane.
Tbh, I dunno the full degree of what's going on with Twitter. My understanding is that when Musk bought the platform, not only was he ripped off, but the original owners hired ppl, and put them under contract specifically to get in Musk's way. That doesn't excuse these new changes though...
Yeah, Yooka Laylee has trivia segments inbetween stages, as you travel the all too easy to get lost in main map. The all too easy to get lost in part is apparently being fixed for the rerelease though. And to be precise, you actually start each stage/area at maybe half its actual size. You pay collectibles to "upgrade" the stage in order to see its full size. Some sections are honestly a bit more difficult than they should be.
FEH units are just flat out broken these days. Like, reduce damage by insert percentage here, stackable, increase damage by idek what, allow character to move again and take action again twice, then retreat a number of spaces, etc.

@Mariotag yes, AI is becoming very common on Meta’s platforms (Instagram and Facebook) and several social media apps. Instagram also has an AI chat too, though I don’t use it at all, though chatting with AI has become popular because of the comedic moments that have come out of it. I don’t think AI is entirely bad and has its benefits, but I hate it when apps train AI off of data and images without telling its users about it or giving them options to opt out. It feels malicious in my opinion.

I have heard of Twitter being toxic for a long time despite not using it, but a lot of people say Twitter wasn’t really like that during its early days, also probably because it likely didn’t have a ton of users back then, and it sounded like they tried to keep the platform in order and tried to make it a good experience for everyone, but way before 2022 I heard and saw people who acted toxic and awful toward others, which kind of gave me a reason to not register on the app. I only used the web version of Twitter before they said that you have to make an account to view accounts and posts on the app.

Cool, I didn’t know the remake was fixing the “easy to get lost” issue with the original. I think it could be a good remake from what I am hearing, but I also didn’t know you needed to use collectibles to expand the worlds. I think remakes are also a good opportunity to fix games that have significant flaws, or for games that are extremely bad, though I should add that I am not saying Laylee is a bad game since I’ve also not played it yet, moreso talking about games that are plain bad and critically panned.

Are there other units besides Felix and some of the Three Houses that are known for being broken or are considered broken? I haven’t drawn from any of the newer banners, and I’m assuming a lot of the older units are more balanced or weaker.

Anti-Matter

@Pastellioli
A lot of AI pictures are terrible in my opinion.
Not just only copycat the art style but I oftenly found the AI made the characters or the objects looked disproportionated (the hands, the fingers, the body size, the pose, etc).

No good deed
Will I do
AGAIN...!!!

@Anti-Matter Yeah my issue with AI generated images is that they often look super lifeless and off, like sometimes the art style doesn’t fit or looks incongruous. The hands often look the worst when an AI generates it I feel. I used to gush about AI art generators being amazing and I even used a few as inspiration for my artwork at one point, but knowing that the art copies actual artists’ work and doesn’t credit them, I feel very dirty over using the AI images instead of looking for artists’ work as inspiration.
