@Yousef- I’m not sure yet, I would maybe say Rare Replay but I played and completed a lot of the games in there that I was excited for, though I did say that I wanted to get more achievements for it. I need to find some games on the Xbox that are similar to the 3D Rare platformers that I’ve played, cuz I have started Conker’s Pocket Tales and I’m not having fun with it right now…it’ll probably get better when I actually know what to do. Maybe I’ll go to the recommendations thread and hope that someone comes in and gives me a few games I could play on the Xbox.
@Pastellioli my list:
-Dead Rising: Deluxe Remaster (comes out in two months)
-Lollipop Chainsaw (comes out in a few months)
-Dragon Ball Z: Sparking Zero (comes out in October)
Like it says in the book, we are blessed… and we are cursed.
@Yousef- Unfortunately, there is simply not enough time in the world to get round the games I want to play😂
In fact in terms of new releases, Super Mario Party Jamboree is the only thing I'll be picking up.
I've got more than plenty going on for multiple systems to warrant picking up much more!
@Yousef- My favorite rice is basmati rice. I do want to try Australian wild rice one of these days. My specialty is usually just ground meat seared over a pan & served with rice. Ground beef, pork, or lamb is my preferred meat. Venison...not so much. But I wanna use ground bison next though.
I sell my famous Chesapeake Tupperware.
I ACCEPT NO DEBIT CARDS!
DO YOU HEAR ME!?!
wow, been a while since ive seen the chit chat thread NOT in in the recently active forums. hows everyone doing :3
i had a pretty chill day myself. I just watched the last episode of the Umbrella Academy Season Three, and oh my god what a cliffhanger!! glad i only have to wait two days for season 4. an amazing show, the character development is wonderful and the plot is so wacky and weird and i just love it. also speaking of movies i saw deadpool and wolverine a few weeks ago ahhhhhhh so good. whole theatre was laughing 😸
Ive been in a gaming drought recently. really excited for nintendos busy fall since its filled with new games, and my birthday too. dont have much money to be spending right now unfortunately. however ive been playing a LOT of animal crossing which is my ultimate comfort game. been making my house an eras tour house and i got rooms for speak now and repuation done and working on 1989 :3 soo fun so far. also been dabbling in NWC but it can get repetitive sometimes sadly. still great game for a great price!! I also want to get more games for a sega master system i got from my grandmother, i have one (space harrier) which is fun but so difficult !!
ive been really into piano recently just mastered singing and playing loml by taylor swift and im working on kaleidoscope by chappell roan but phew its hard. tutorials by hugo is an excellent channel to learn from though! i love chappell roan sm. ive also been getting into beach bunny and charli xcx recently-both highly recommend!! also this artist called genevieve stokes is amazing, small indie artist, but i love their album Swimming Lessons.
anyways sorry for the yap session, bored 😸😸😸

@OctolingKing13 Cool to hear you're a bit of ✨️ musician ✨️, I also play piano and am working towards Grade 7. They can sometimes be a bit of a drag but it's a little easier this time as the new syllabus includes video game music in the selection.
For Grade 7 that piece is 'To Zanarkand' from Final Fantasy X and it's a beauty to play. But tbh I'm already looking to Grade 8 as they have Coconut Mall as one of the pieces. What are the chances of that!!
Can't say I'm a Swiftie although I respect her as an artist.
Spent yesterday logging my game collection, on the one hand it's nice to see them all in one place but on the other, I'm a little horrified at the true extent of my backlog😵💫
Yesterday I did try to game a bit, but didn't do much. Just booted up a few Rare games and played those for a little. I did replay of Conker's Bad Fur Day a few days ago for a game club on one of Nintendo Life's sister sites, Pure Xbox. I had a good time re-experiencing it again, though discussion in the game club has been dead...so far it has only been me and one of the game club heads who played the game and discussed it a bit, but I think he is already playing other games so no one has replied to the game club forum since Sunday. Some people in the club dropped the game already or are busy with stuff, so the club hasn't been as fun as I hoped it would be. It makes me disappointed since I was looking forward to talking about this game with other people Though Pure Xbox is one of the least popular Hookshot sites. I am hoping discussion does pick up a bit since August just started and there could be some people wanting to play the game and are waiting to have a chat.
I do not know what else to play right now after completing Conker again. I could do a third playthrough, but the gameplay is honestly hit or miss, and I wish they had gone through with making a sequel. There was this obscure game that came before Bad Fur Day called Conker's Pocket Tales that has a kiddy tone, I decided to try it out since Conker is all I can think of right now, but so far I am not enjoying it because it is so confusing and bad at explaining the controls and some stuff, but I am still going to attempt playing it and using a walkthrough. I have been playing Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage! on my phone, still been enjoying that but I'm just waiting for some songs I like to be added to the game. I probably am going to ask for some recommendations for games on my Xbox on another forum here since I want something that is a bit tonally similar to Conker, or just a nice 3D platformer game. The Microsoft store does show a bit of other older and retro platformer games when I browse the store for some Rare titles, so maybe those could be up my alley. They are inexpensive too!
Have heard of the Umbrella Academy, I never watched it, but I have heard of it and some of its characters because a guy I saw on YouTube drew in a small sketchbook that consisted of gouache portraits of the show's main characters. For shows and movies, I haven't seen anything yesterday or today, but I have been in the mood to watch more stuff. I saw The Matrix last month and enjoyed it a lot, and a few weeks ago I saw The Truman Show and rewatched Mr. Peabody and Sherman. A pretty random selection of movies I've watched, but I did enjoy them nonetheless. My brother has seen Deadpool and Wolverine, and a lot of people have mentioned it a lot on the movie thread here. I haven't seen it, but from what I've seen in clips the movie looks hilarious. It seems a bit rare to find superhero movies besides the Deadpool movies that are funny and not overly serious. I think movie nights are fun, I remember watching The Matrix super late in bed on a computer with my headphones in and it was so relaxing and comfy. I want to watch the sequels, but my brother has said those were pretty bad.
I used to play piano. Me and my siblings used to practice instruments when we were younger and we had a music teacher that our dad would have us meet every week. We even got a keyboard and took some music book sheets home to practice to. Unfortunately, the music teacher kept going out of town and we stopped going eventually, and I have not played a piano in years. The keyboard ended up losing its power cord and the books went missing, so I don't play piano anymore. I can't imagine how bad the piano would sound if I played it again lol. If I were to play piano, I would probably just use it to learn how to play a few Vocaloid and video game songs.
On an unrelated note, I'm contemplating whether or not I want to change my avatar here and on other sites, but its only been since July since I have had this avatar on. Changing avatars is so fun.
@Nintoz wow awesome to see a fellow pianist here !! those pieces sound awesome! the only video game ones ive learned are Sweden from minecraft and the beginning of the animal crossing theme haha 😹 coconut mall sounds like it would be difficult to play !! also wonderful to see you respect taylor swift, a lot of people hate her for no reason unfortunately. @Pastellioli ive heard great things about conkers bad fur day, alas i have no way to play it since i dont have an xbox. but i would love to play it since it seemed like it was revolutionary and in an interesting point in gaming history. the only phone game i really play is geometry dash, unfortunately i had to delete among us since it got to addicting :3 man, geometry dash is mighty hard but fun to pick up when boredom visits.
ive never watched the matrix, it seems good! yes deadpool was hilarious, but i was also surprised to see really emotional moments that seemed even more special due to the fast-paced actionyness of the rest of the movie.
oooh changing your avatar is so fun!! i havent done it in a while since people recognize people by avatars usually, but maybe ill change it up! my current one is an alice oseman drawing, who wrote heartstopper and many other amazing novels. however i was thinking of changing it to kirby, or possibly taylor swift again- the possibilities are endless! what are you thinking of changing your avatar too :3

@OctolingKing13 Conker is fun, but it is a bit outdated with the gameplay and level design and some of the humor is a bit outdated. I didn't mind the mature humor, mostly cuz it used it to subvert cliches and tropes, but there were maybe one or two jokes that I think were REALLY aged and questionable. I still think it is worth playing for some people, and it is a super impressive N64 game. If only it wasn't stuck on the Xbox though...there is a remake, and that one ironed out a lot of the gameplay issues I had with it. The best parts of the humor were the movie parodies, those came off as really cool but also goofy.
I used to play Among Us, I did way before it exploded in popularity a few years back. Me and my mom and siblings would always play private matches together, though I did play matches with people online too. It was fun, but it has been way too long since I have played it. My most played game on my phone is the Hatsune Miku rhythm game. I did try to get into other rhythm games, but they weren't my thing and I had such a hard time getting used to not having a lot of progress on them lol. Another game I did play was the mobile port of Sonic CD, which I completed and unlocked Tails as a playable character, but I didn't finish my playthrough with Tails on there. I sometimes play game emulators for classic games that haven't been re-released on modern consoles. I was playing Diddy Kong Racing back in April to June, but I haven't touched it since the controls on the emulator are so hard, so I'm just waiting for a possible NSO release that might convince me to get the Expansion Pack again. I also played Pocket Tales that way, but again, I am not liking it right now.
I'm probably going to change my avatar to another Conker avatar, cuz I think that does make my account a bit more recognizable. I think I've changed my avatar about five times now. If I remember, I had Conker as my avatar about four times now, and I pretty much have him as my profile picture on almost every other service and site I use lol. The one time he wasn't used on my avatar was back in June to sometime in July, as I had Banjo as my avatar around that period. I have been thinking of having a Vocaloid as my avatar though, however. Another one of my biggest interests!
@Pastellioli Oh gotcha, I do remember seeing that it got a remake a while back... wasn't it on the original Xbox? The guns not having reticles sound like a pain to use, lol. Oh gosh, that reminds me of another Rare game that I've played, which was Donkey Kong 64... still remember that beetle race while playing as Tiny. That part annoyed the living heck out of kid me. Same with a lot of the minigames the game throws at you (the ones that take place in the floating golden banana barrels). Kameo sounds like it's a pretty good game. If I ever do get my hands on Rare Replay and an Xbox for a decent price, I won't mind trying it out.
@Tyranexx You're playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3 now? That's cool. I kind of fell out of the Xenoblade series, unfortunately... I have not gotten back to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for a long time since the last boss I faced got me upset. You may recall that I talked about that boss in the past, and how I keep losing and not knowing exactly what to equip for the battle. I've not gone back to XC2 since then... maybe I'm just a terrible Xenoblade player. Though XC1's definitive edition does have a casual mode, so if I were to play Xenoblade again, it'd probably be that game. I think I'll turn on casual mode if I'm having a really hard time. Best of luck on Ys VI and XC3.
Yeah it does have a carnival-like atmosphere with the tickets. Those tickets you'd get are good for any ride, as well. Yeah exactly... there's no way any ride would be that speed, lol. Do you remember liking the teacups at Disney? It's all right if you don't remember. I'd love to go to Disney World sometime, been saving up for it actually. I do wanna check out Nintendo World at Universal as well.
Just a heads up, I have a personal story that I want to tell, but it is a bit sad. I’m gonna be honest, I’m really upset that I never went to any of the Disney parks… and I think I know why I’ve not gone to them. I had a terrible experience with riding a roller coaster at a different park when I was about 7, which you may remember me telling you about. I absolutely hated it. It was so bad that it turned me off from visiting theme parks for the longest time. :’( Had I started going on a coaster when I got a few years older, let’s say 12, then I probably would have liked them. If they’re not too high and crazy of course. I know now that Disney World isn’t exclusively thrill rides and stuff like that, just to clarify. My mom told me that she had a bad experience with a ferris wheel when she was a kid, as well. Sunsy told me a similar coaster-related story too… he went on a smaller coaster (the one I was on was a full-fledged coaster) and he also didn’t like it.
So yeah, that’s the story I’ve been wanting to tell. That moment just came back to my mind today, and I even cried because of that. I’m still somewhat in tears as I type this, too. I really hope I can go there someday. I love many of Disney’s cartoons and movies, as do a lot of other people. I’d love for you to cheer me up as well… and with all that said, it’s great you got to go to both of the US Disney parks. I’m happy for you.
Both Super Mario Galaxy and Odyssey are fantastic games... 3D World is one of my all-time favorites as well. That one I feel is a culmination of everything I loved about the classic Super Mario Bros. games, albeit in a 3D space of course. Plus it helps that I liked 3D Land on the 3DS, and that I'm a cat person. Most of the 3D Mario games, I do love. The only one I’m kind of critical towards is Sunshine. Love its summer theme and I think it’s a mostly good game, but some parts just don’t sit well with me.
@Yousef- The new games I'm most looking forward to playing are Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Mario Party Jamboree, and Mario & Luigi: Brothership. Those are the three I'm most excited to play that were featured in the last Nintendo Direct.
"Give yourself the gift of being joyfully you."
Favorite games: Super Mario 3D World, Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Playing: Hollow Knight
Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️

Spent yesterday logging my game collection, on the one hand it's nice to see them all in one place but on the other, I'm a little horrified at the true extent of my backlog😵💫
I used to have experience with instruments, had violin, piano and guitar training at different points in my life, but don’t play anything now. Instead I use music software and make game music covers as a hobby. It’s so much fun, despite my lack of formal music training, and I’ve made dozens so far, since like 2019. One of the most creatively rewarding experiences I’ve ever had.
In 9th grade I actually wrote a video game cover for music class and performed it on the piano, it was the Song of Healing from Majora’s Mask. Nothing special but that’s the only way I’ve used my experience in software towards anything real 😅😅
@MarioVillager92 Yes, the remake was for the OG Xbox, the remake is very good looking and technically impressive for its age. The original sort of flip flops back and forth with having an aim reticle, which is a bit annoying. You should definitely give Kameo a try if you do get an Xbox at a good price. I find a lot of Rare's 360 titles to be very decent and very experimental. They aren't awful like what a lot of other fans say, maybe not the greatest like their N64 titles, but the 360 games are well made and fun. I might add that Rare Replay is very inexpensive at only just $30! You can probably find a physical copy at a good price, though the digital copy frequently goes on sale for cheaper prices. I got a digital copy for only $7 during a spring sale last year. It was very worth it!
“Woah-shi! It’s a double Yoshi explo-shi!” - Yoshi’s Woolly World ad, 2015
If you’re curious, the character in my PFP is Flaky from Happy Tree Friends.
@Pastellioli If true, the Midori thing is...weird. Internet personas different from one's true self aren't uncommon online, though personally I've always been one who thinks honesty is the best route. I actually think people getting bent out of shape regarding the handle's gender is amusing, but I don't condone the harassment this guy did at all (if true of course). Can't say I approve of Pyoro either, though again I think that, while they are the primary party at fault, it wasn't just them in that case. I figured Nintendo's reaction in June was likely leak related.
I hope my nephew learns to like games, though in moderation like everything else. Completely up to him though; I don't want to force him into any hobby lol.
@MarioVillager92 I actually finished Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim earlier this week! Pretty fun game overall, though not one I'd recommend as a first Ys title from both gameplay and lore/story angles. It's better to play some of the other games first, especially from a lore standpoint. I know you don't care to use guides, but I think you're to the point where you should consult one for your XC2 roadblock. XC2 has many highs, but also many lows IMO. XC3 and XC:DE/XC1 are both stronger games for the most part.
I think I liked the teacups at Disney back in the day. Not sure if they'd quite be my thing now. They are something I'd go on with a loved one though! I would like to go back there someday, but I'm favoring Cedar Point and Universal Orlando over those parks right now...mainly because I've never been to them. Knoebels would be worth a try one day I think. Seems like there are many decent theme parks in that part of the country! I only have two within somewhat reasonable driving distance....By that, I mean they won't require a hotel stay. I think it would've been better if you'd went on a less intense coaster, and at an older age. That experience definitely affected you. Disney World is a mix of rides depending on the park. For the most part, Magic Kingdom is on the calmer to medium side. Same with Epcot. Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom have more high thrill rides, but they are overall a good mix. I do hope you get to at least one of the Disney Parks one day. If not for the rides, than for the overall experience.
Super Mario 3D World is up there for me too, and I did like 3D Land too. The cat angle definitely helps too! The cat suit is one of my favorite power ups. Super Mario Sunshine is...mixed for me. I like Isle Delfino and some of the general themes, and FLUDD is sort of fun on Switch. But some controls like wall jumping are clunky as heck, and some of the FLUDD-less sections are ridiculously hard. I would have avoided those entirely if I didn't need a certain amount of Shines per world for the final boss.
Been busy playing games lately. Posted a bit about what I've been playing in the Currently Playing thread. Apologies for late responses because I've been enjoying myself with some PC and Switch games.
@Sunsy I haven’t really seen any official accounts do art showcases, but I can remember that every Friday, Rare’s official social media accounts show one or two pieces of fanart on there. It would be a dream to get shown on there, but I know it ain’t happening lol. I don’t know if there’s this eligibility or requirement to get shown, I probably don’t use the right tags for it. I’m pretty bad at picking relevant and gold tags for my art posts. Plus I don’t post consistently and I’d only want my good looking art to get shown if I did.
Yeah, I can remember Rocky and Bullwinkle but pretty vaguely, I remember Mr. Peabody and Sherman way more than the show they were both apart of. I’d still love to see Rocky and Bullwinkle one day, I do like watching some cartoons, but it has been a while since I have. I think the last cartoon I watched was Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Rescue Rangers about two years ago. I loved it and binged it throughout June after I saw the Disney+ film before. That movie was pretty decent, though Ugly Sonic and the character cameos were actually being talked more than the actual film. Plus, one of the main characters of Rocky and Bullwinkle is a flying squirrel, and I love squirrels and rodents so much!
I do think X is a pretty bad name. It’s so generic, and it seemed that the Twitter rebrand was in an attempt to sound cool, but it just doesn’t sound memorable. The moderation on Twitter I think was a bit better before, but it’s almost nonexistent now after the buyout a few years ago. Twitter had gained notoriety for being that one place with no moderation and having no respect for opinions at all. Again, I only have experience with the web version of Twitter with no account, and I’d only use it to look at art and gaming stuff. I also think a few of the people working at Twitter got fired after the buyout, so I think that could be an explanation for why the moderation there is so bad. I absolutely do appreciate the mods here, they are super active and quickly deal with any awful behavior here. Instagram would maybe be up there with Twitter for worst social media moderation.
IIRC, when Trolls did it, they had a hashtag called #TrollsFanartChallenge or #TrollsArtTuesday. Usually tagging the official account and using those hashtags gave fans a chance for their art to be featured. With some accounts they may use a special hashtag, at least that's how an official DreamWorks run account did it anyway.
Rocky and Bullwinkle was a fun show, yeah, Mr. Peabody and Sherman were a part of it and it was called "Peabody's Improbable History," as you can imagine they went back in time. Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers is a good one, shortly after seeing the movie I actually watched the show. The ugly Sonic in the movie made me laugh, it was like they gave the ugly Sonic a redemption arc, lol. That movie was filled to the brim with references here and there. I was surprised when I saw the Snork at the end of the movie, mostly because I like the show and have the DVD set.
I would say Twitter has no moderation at all, even back then. Again, I'm just going to say this, a lack of rules is pretty much why. On a forum you have rules that keep it safe for others to talk in. If someone breaks a rule repeatedly here, then eventually they'll get banned. Twitter didn't have that, just a block button if it comes down to it. Yeah I think I've heard of that too, it's unfortunate for them as well. I'm glad I left Twitter, felt happier since. I'm fine with Instagram being the only social media I use. I rarely had problems there.
@Sunsy Lol same here, that's why I always copy and paste my post and save it locally. As cliche as it may sound, it's better to be safe than sorry.
That's really awesome, I'm definitely happy for you. Is going to Universal still on your bucket list? I'd go there for the Nintendo park alone, I'm so getting a picture of me with my favorite character, Mario! I don't think I'd fit into a tube slide anymore either, lol. That's cool. Surprisingly enough, I didn't have Star Fox for the SNES until much, much later. My dad also didn't have that game when he had his SNES back in the 90s so I have no nostalgia for it. I thought it was a good game, the graphics looked really impressive for the hardware and it's got an awesome soundtrack, but Star Fox 64 will always be my favorite one.
Yeah... I can't blame you. VHS tapes seem to be really, really fragile... that's the one flaw with them. I do think VHS tapes have their charm too, at least for folks like me who have grown up watching movies on them. So it really sucks if the tape gets caught up in your VCR. That's cool, I think I recall using some kind of RF cable to play my N64 on that Quasar TV that I mentioned earlier. My SNES Classic is in one of my drawers currently. Actually I might hook up one of my Sega Genesis Minis to my TV sometime. There's still some games I'd like to play on them.
I remember hearing that The Lion King came back to theaters for a bit... I would have seen it in theaters, but too bad it wasn't available in my area.
Oh my goodness, I remember 8-bit Sonic 2's first boss... it was near impossible to beat! On the Game Gear at the very least, never played the Master System version. That larger screen would help me a ton, honestly, since I don't like screen crunch. I remember doing the level select code and I played through that game's Green Hills Zone. Yep, with a plural, lol. I like the names of those codes, lol. Especially TIMETOLOSE for the super hard CPU players.
I actually didn't know that, that's cool you can download the Tiny Chao Garden to your GBA. I thought you had to have Sonic Advance for that.
Ah OK gotcha, that does sound pretty cool regardless. Nice that you're given something to play with during your ride on Rhonda.
Yeah exactly... if only Twitter had moderators, lol. Plenty of posts that are, um, not nice... and a bunch of naughty language too. I feel awful for the Trolls fans you mentioned too. Reminds me of how I got bullied in middle school... I feel for them.
OK, that's fine. Hopefully we can play soon, but I hope your weekend goes well.
Yeah, I actually have notepad open right now just in case I get that error and need to resubmit.
Maybe, I wouldn't mind meeting Poppy again, I keep forgetting they have Super Nintendo World there. Who knows, I could meet Peach. Hopefully you'll go and get to meet Mario. Meeting a character was so much fun! Cool, it's nice you got to play Star Fox later on. I think Star Fox 64 will always be my favorite. I managed to get the game on Wii, Wii U, and 3DS too. Loved the remastered 3DS version, also gave me my dream of having a portable Star Fox game.
Yeah, at least DVD and Blu-Ray I don't need to worry about a tape breaking, maybe potential scratches. Though, I've been using the digital codes included with movies to watch them that way, this way I put less wear and tear on the player. Even if those digital versions stop working, I could still fall back on the DVD and Blu-Ray of said movie. Just about my digital library were just digital codes I redeemed. I still have the movie physically. Sounds like a simple N64 setup, unlike mine where everything went through the VCR. Cool, you have a Genesis mini. I never had the chance to get one, but I do have Sega classics in multiple forms. Ranging from collections (Sonic Mega Collection, Sega Genesis Classics on Switch) to individual games on Steam. I always been able to play Genesis stuff.
Same, I couldn't find a theater nearby showing it. The theater I usually go to didn't even do the Disney 100 re-releases last year.
I remember, seeing Robotnik go up in the corner, and I kept jumping up in that corner thinking I'll hit him. It was common sense, jump on the boss. I had no idea I had to dodge those balls and let it hit the robot claw, lol. Green Hills Zone should have been level 1, so weird it was in the middle of the game randomly. Always saw Sky High Zone like Hilltop, same theme with the grass and blue tiles. Back when codes were actually fun to mess with.
Yup, it basically sent the Chao and the Tiny Chao Garden to your GBA. However, in case battery died, it would only clone your Chao, so you won't lose it. The stats did overwrite the existing Chao when you connected it back, thus bringing the upgrades with you.
Yeah, it was like using an arcade stick, and a big button to control. It made the Rhonda portion of Trolls x CAMP more interactive.
Sadly, cartoon Twitter is not fun to deal with. They take animated movies and shows way too seriously. It makes me glad I don't bother with the site anymore. Wouldn't want to be made fun of just because I like Trolls, or anything for that matter.
@Sunsy I like going to the theater to watch movies, though it has to be something I really want to see. My local theater has $5 Tuesdays all day, so that makes it easy to duck in after work sometimes. Their morning matinees are $5 too, but those are usually hard for me to pull off since I work during the week. I do like what I've seen of Despicable Me, though the Minions can easily annoy me.
Yep, the chain is called Ramen Danbo. It's Fukuoka-style Tonkotsu Ramen. Technically, that one New York location is in Brooklyn (Though in my mind, they're geographically close enough to be almost the same lol).
Not bad, actually, the last few times I've been trying to go on Tuesdays just because my local theater does the discount too. I did that for both Migration and Despicable Me 4. I did see Inside Out 2, but my friend used a free movie pass on it mostly because he had issues ordering tickets through the theater's own app (for Trolls Band Together and Migration, I used Fandango, he used AMC's app).
Cool, sounds nice.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
There were a lot of Disney movies trailer yesterday from D23 event.
Snow White 2025 was quite promising despite of the craziness happened outside.
Zootopia 2, i have no idea since i have never watched the first movie.
Toy Story 5, i really hope this sequel really give the finale of Toy Story series by having Andy as adult man getting married and having son who get Woody as his toys. The toys from father to son.
Frozen 3, i have no idea since Frozen 2 last time was forgettable for me.
Lilo & Stitch live action kinda a little bit creepy to see furry alien in CGI interact with real humans.
Incredibles 3 , not a fan of superhero movies but still curious about their family member situation.
Elio, i still curious to see what those aliens.
@Sunsy
Disney have released their 23 movie trailers including Snow White live action, Frozen 3, Moana 2, Lilo & Stitch live action, Elio, Mufasa, Incredibles 3, Tron Ares, Zootopia 2, etc.
Have you watched any of them?
@Anti-Matter D23 is happening. I only seen the teaser for the live action Lilo and Stitch, Snow White, and the announcements for Toy Story 5, Incredibles 3, and a bit of the Moana 2 trailer. I didn't see much on Frozen 3 aside from the announcement, there is a rumor it's going to be two parts, but without official confirmation, I don't want to say that's true.
I'm really picky when it comes to rumors. Refuse to believe them until something official comes out.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
Hi to everyone in the thread! Good morning, good afternoon, or goodnight! I've been too inactive here as of late, had login issues with my account last night and got worried that I got hacked or banned, but it was a small site issue that got resolved, so its all good now! I ended up getting logged out automatically when I took too long with writing a message, so I need to keep everything short and to the point. I'll reply to some of the comments later.
I have found myself gaming more recently before I start to get busy with work. I have been playing Rare Replay on the Xbox and recently got to a big achievement number a few days ago! It makes me really happy, cuz I got that far by doing a lot of challenges called snapshots. They are these challenges for their older games where you play portions of the game under specific conditions (like getting to a part of a stage without losing a life, collecting an amount of items under a time limit) and it was hard but super satisfying to complete, but it required a lot of walkthroughs...I really need to show how much of a big Rare fan I am
@Sunsy I think Rare does use these hashtags like #FanArt Friday in their posts, but I need to check again. I should maybe try that if I do want my art shown, but I don't know when I'll draw again. I have been finding myself not drawing a lot and finding art to be less convenient and unfun, but I have been making attempts to draw again, cuz I have an unfinished sketch ready and pens on the table. I won't give up, but I'll go back to doing it when I feel creativity coming back to me again. I have been playing games a lot and achievement hunting too, so there is that too lol.
Loved Rescue Rangers, found the movie fun and the show goofy and charming. I think after playing a lot of games with cartoony art styles and Western looks and feelings (Banjo and Conker specifically) I have found myself liking a lot of animal characters and cartoons, but I have not watched a cartoon in a few years now. I think Ugly Sonic was such a treat in the film, but everyone saw the movie for him and him only lol. I think there is a line he says in there that implies that he and the redesigned Sonic are completely separate characters, which is interesting. Its crazy to know that that disaster of a first trailer for the first Sonic movie was five years ago, and its super insane to see how the films are hyped now and going on three films, alongside that spinoff show a few months back. I remember the memes that came from that, and I watched the heck out of a lot of those when I was on YouTube. I really want a trailer for the third film soon. Its actually due to release in four to three months! Hoping that it isn't delayed and that we get a look at it. I think footage from the film was shown months ago behind closed doors via a film event, and from what they described from what was in the footage, it sounded really cool. I really just need to hear Keanu Reeves as Shadow now. I think that is what a lot of people have been looking forward to as well. I have been wanting to hear what his performance will be, especially after I watched The Matrix last month and thought he did a good job in there. Looks like they are really wanting to build up hype for it if they have gone this far without showing any footage from the movie.
With Twitter, I think most account suspensions were only for a few days or hours, and after accounts would just roam free after that. I think bigger account suspensions were for accounts belonging to celebrities or when someone would say something really bad. I appreciate the mods here, cuz they are super kind, understanding, and trying to make sure that the site stays safe and good for everyone. I appreciate the work they do on here.
