@MarioLover92 About the controllers - no, it's not that they're wireless, it's that when you turn the knob on it, you can very smoothly adjust the speed of train. In the normal controller, you have like 1, 2 or 3 preset speeds and when you turn the knob, you just switch that speed.
I sometimes travel by trains, my Japanese exam was held in one city only, so I had to take the early train, it was 1 year ago. I slept almost all the way. Going back was much more tiring as there were lots of people going back from holidays, and they had kids. Noisy kids. My muffling headphones couldn't mitigate that ruckus. People are the only thing I dislike about trains.
Do you like trains, seeing that you have been to railroad museums?
Yeah, the scent is something I would never give up on during holiday season. Scent is one of the most memory - inducing senses, they can evoke feelings you can't even remember existed. It's worth buying a real tree every year.
Yes I do have Switch! As for what games I like, it's a tricky question, I like a lot of them. Remakes of old RPGs, (like Atelier Marie or Rhapsody), new RPGs (like Xenoblade 2 or Octopath Traveler), some one-of-a-kind games like Katamari Damacy, even Visual Novels. As for Nintendo's first party, I got Mario Kart for both Wii U and Switch, Also Smash for Wii U and Smash Ultimate. I also played Splatoon since the first installment, but I grew a bit tired of it. As for my gaming library, the Nintendolife account does not reflect it well since I can't be bothered to enter each and every game I have, they are just auto added from polls.
Yeah I finished Wonder too, it was great. My personal favorites is still Odyssey, though.
Bring me the sesame, miso, citrus and pepper flavored fish cakes
At the beginning, Kirby attempts to escape Galeem like canon. However, even he doesn't make it, but right before being consumed, one of the stars from his Warp Star manages to disappear from the world, and it magically summons Luca, a fire-wielding half-kitsune from another dimension.
Upon landing in the new world, Luca is suddenly attacked by what appears to be Mario wearing different colored clothes and having glowing red eyes. Luca attempts to fight back using his fire, only to find that his fire powers don't work in this world (think of Donald Duck at the beginning of "Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories" when he tried to attack Axel with magic). A mysterious voice tells him to adapt and figure out a new way to defend himself, and Luca sees a samurai sword sticking out of the ground. Upon pulling it out of the ground, the sword magically gifts him knowledge of swordfighting, and even magically replaces his usual T-shirt, shorts and shoes with that of Takamaru's outfit.
With the fight back in his favor, Luca manages to damage the Mario lookalike, who keeps turning into metal every few seconds. After sending the Mario clone to his death, a small wispy spirit with the image of the Smoky Progg from "Pikmin" quickly joining his side. After defeating several more of these false fighters and gaining the power from the spirits who were trapped, Luca eventually faces off against the true Mario.
Upon defeat, Mario regains his senses and explains to Luca the situation, such as where they are and who the fighters are up against. Realizing that he was sent to this world to help, Luca vows to rescue every spirit and fighter, and take down Galeem and take back their worlds.
The Harry Potter advent calendar I ordered online came today and it’s… humongous. expect it to be, like, book-sized, but it’s actually larger than my laptop.
It’s really cute though, with 25 colorful pockets of various sizes.
The first day had four small greeting cards (which I might turn into little notebooks), and the second day had a tiny little sticker. Here’s hoping day three will be more exciting.
@Tyranexx All of the other Shovel Knight campaigns are fantastic and Plague of Shadows has probably the best story of all of them. Difficulty is subjective but, from what I've seen, most people that have completed find it even easier than the main campaign since he's kinda overpowered. When I've seen discussions about it being more difficult, it's usually players in their first hours and it's understandable as he's quite different from Shovel Knight.
I felt upset with my recent game purchase just now. 😤
I bought Transformers Dark of the Moon PS3 and it was really unplayable.
Too difficult to play, I got Game Over several times, the control of camera and aiming were rubbish, 15 minutes I got nothing but frustration. 😒
I immediately delisted all Transformers PS3 games from my list except Transformers Devastation as the game have a potential to play.
I got Transformers The Game PS3 last July 2023 and it was rubbish.
I got this Transformers Dark of the Moon and it also rubbish.
I will donate those two Transformers PS3 games to my game shop owner.
Also, when I tried to play FF XIII PS3 again by wandering around Grand Pulse or Orphan Cradle, it still gave anxiety due to tough enemies almost everywhere. And because I still feel I got some anxiety in FF XIII, I changed my mind to not consider FF XIII-2 & Lightning Returns as those games maybe even harder than the first game.
