@TheJGG My Christmas budget went a tad awry, plus I'm waiting to see what shows up until after the holidays. If I'm lucky, I can use a gift card of some sort towards buying the DLC. I've been keeping an eye out for sales, but we know how often Nintendo LOVES discounting their games, moreso the DLC. /s

@roy130390 Hmm...In that case, I'll at least think about grabbing Plague of Shadows. I will admit the premise alone was by far the most interesting to me out of all the other spinoff Shovel Knight campaigns.

@MarioLover92 C++ and C# are both object-oriented languages. But the latter is way more integrated into Microsoft's .NET environment. C++ was originally designed as an extension of C and is a lower-level language (AKA closer to the basic/core machine language and commands). C++ is also way more universal, whereas C# is higher level and is pretty much stuck on Windows for now. There are other key differences - there are plenty of articles that can explain this better than I can - but those are the ones I'm most familiar with in a nutshell.

I admittedly haven't touched my 3DS too recently either, though I'd like to pick it up again before long since I still have a backlog for it! Besides IRL, Switch and PC gaming are hogging the VG time right now. I agree, good games in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! That was pretty fun, and I'll repeat myself: I don't think I was trolled nearly as badly as last time (for the most part).

I swear our house isn't even bothering with christmas decorations this year and it feels wrong.
Also, I have to get all my siblings presents within 20 days, hope I make it.

@TeaCatherine I sent my sister and 2 of my 4 brothers just simple Christmas cards, each had a different polaroid picture of my white cat Destiny, but for Troy I might get him a ps2 game

Also candy canes aren't aNorth American thing, I looked it up, they have Germany origins

@Princess_Lilly Yeah, we normally have a tree and house decorations but this is our first christmas staying where we are at the moment and the house owner can't be bothered.

@EllaTheQueen6 Well, I only decorate trees as well. Also the table with some nice tablecloth. And some ornaments on the windows. And a small tree with just lights in another room.

@TeaCatherine Oh, I see. Yeah, you have different priorites this year. The spirit of Christmas, being together and remembering kindness of others is what's important.

May I talk about my experience of listening a priest's lecture about Christmas celebration long long time ago?

If I remembered correctly, back in year before 2007, I have ever visited a church every Sunday despite I am not a Christian. There was one priest's lecture about Christmas celebration that we were not supposed to celebrate in happiness because she said Christmas was used to be a scary day where the first kid in Egypt will be killed by Pharaoh once Jesus Christ was born.
She said we were not supposed to celebrate Christmas in happiness and big party. In my mind, I was DA HECK she said we were not allowed to celebrate Christmas in happiness ?! 🤨
If she thought Christmas Day was a frightening day, well she should celebrate like that for herself but don't tell anybody to not allow to celebrate Christmas in happiness, even for non Christian peoples. In my opinion, her lecture about Christmas Day celebration was a false lecture. If she didn't want to celebrate Christmas Day in happiness, good for her but let other peoples celebrate Christmas Day in happiness without thinking too much about the scary day when Pharaoh killed the first kids once Jesus Christ was born.
