@JadeKitsune yeah bots exist in games, FPS too, but they are utterly useless, it's not giving your team a chance, it's more like masking the fact that someone disconnected.
I have a feeling that I have to take the whole team on myself and then if I kill half of the enemy team in a very rapid succession, maybe, just maybe, my team will do something. Sorry if that sounds toxic
@TeaCatherine Maffe is a Senegualian dish, something like a stew with meat, onion, peanut butter (yes you read that right) and tomato sauce. I didn't know how it would turn out but it's really good. I'm gonna improve it further by adding more ingredients and fine-tuning it but it was already good. But then again, everything I cook is worthy of a 5 star restaurant. Like, the whole building, not just being served there. Sorry if that sounds like boasting
@Eagly yeah, it's the character from She Ra, she singlehandedly carried the show. I wouldn't say that the last season was bad, season 2/3 were a tiny bit slow but I enjoyed the whole thing.
They must think their strategy is working or that people wouldn't buy their older product. I've heard once that it's pretty pricey to put any product on the market, even if you have the whole game, you need licence checks (music games never get remastered because of that), certifications, etc. Mario 3d was supposed to be something rare, I think.
Are the ones you mentioned really B tier AA? Xenoblade, Yakuza and Nier must have had an amazing budget. Hollow Knight could be done on a very small budget and is an indie, but it is still a gem. Doom 2016 was great, but Doom Eternal was a big step in a very wrong direction I think. Colorful ammo, glass cannon Doomguy, cheesy lines and self meming made this a displeasing experience for me. Also, I never got what people like about Dragon Quest. I have 7 and 8 and I don't know what is worse, the writing or the music (I can still remember the TERRIBLE trumpet kakophonie that was DQ8 overworld theme)
"I just try to remember the context behind it for instance gameplay wise a 20 year old game isn’t going to hold up as well as a modern entry." I would absolutely disagree here. 20 year old games are perfect in terms of controlling your character. Nowadays the animations need to be super smooth, so your character tends to do more and more by themselves and I feel more like holding up on controller and seeing the animations do everything (my experience with the terrible Uncharted 4, for example).
Undertale is really good, too. Honestly though, Deltarune is going to be even better, I think. It got me hooked, not gonna lie.

@Eagly Seriously what is up with that thing you keep doing? Just to check shield hammers are bad, right? I think I heard that somewhere but I can't remember. @ComfyAko That doesn't really sound weird, it sounds nice. I wish I had cooking skills I could be proud of, I need to learn at some point but I can never be bothered.
Also, you like Tora?
Currently playing: Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice, River City Girls, Doki Doki Literature Club +
I mess about with pfp backgrounds way too much, sorry.
@TeaCatherine Cooking is an amazing skill to learn. Want to have fun crafting in real world? And then eat delicious things every day? I highly recommend it.
Tora is ok, I mostly like Poppi, but he has his comedic moments. Also, chapter 5 slapped hard.

@ComfyAko I was just trying to figure out what you meant by this.
My problem is my mum does the cooking in our household and I feel like to learn you'd have to just be in the kitchen with a recipe following it with no guidance and I've never really been given the opportunity to do that. How did you get good at it?

@TeaCatherine I did a lot of cooking. I'm actually cooking almost every day. Also some advice I heard was actually useful. I always check whether a piece of advice is good enough to be incorporated in the art. For example, my mom told me how to cook fluffy rice. Some recipies from the internet are good too, but you need to read a couple of them for a single dish and think about what would actually work. I almost never follow a recipe to a tee.
Sometimes you just need to experiment and see which recipe is right. It took me a couple of recipies with too thick or too glue'y dough to finally find that 250g of flour is the best for 150g of water for starting yeast.
I think you can start by observing your mom as she cooks. Seeing the process is a very valuable experience
I mentioned Tora because he's the only one worthy of being spared from @Colonel_Mustache and @Kermit1 's wrath.

@ComfyAko Okay, watch before doing, right. Yeah, I've heard the internet recipes advice before but thanks. I'd say I need to practice the real basics before anything else, though.
Why is Tora worthy of saving?

@TheBigBlue What do you mean what he witnessed? Divine punishment.
@TeaCatherine You can also try to help, and ask questions. Maybe try some simple soups. They have a couple of advantages -
it's harder to burn a soup (but it can still be done depending on the ingredients)
you mostly don't need meat, which is great because worst case scenario you'll end up having something that doesn't taste great but is not a health hazard like raw chicken etc.
there are some shortcuts that you can use for start, like using broth cubes. I use them on a daily basis since they are fast and convenient. It's best to find those eco something ones, with just vegetables powder, no artificial flavour enchancers like Potassium sorbate etc.
@ComfyAko Yeah, I will try at some point.
Yeah, I know quite a few people hate Tora but he's one of the few nopon I can stand. (Riku from 3 is another mostly 'cause of his voice.)

I'm kinda going to sleep so see ya guys in 9 - 14 hours.
The last thing for today will be the quote I found
"Good grief. My hermetic existence is so easily misunderstood. Though I shun the world, I also harbor a deep desire for companionship. In the layfolk's terms, I crave the magic of youth." - Yuni, Princess Connect
@TeaCatherine I mean I can get why people hate Tora, he's a little bit creepy. But he's still above average nopon in Xeno 2. I also need to catch up with 1, didn't get far with my 3ds copy. Only then, when we will have obtained comprehensive knowledge regarding nopon, shall our divine judgement begin!
Ok Im losing my mind, fluffy dreams everyone!
