@bimmy-lee Never even knew there was stuff like island exclusive fruit. It's perfect for kids, it's like living a perfect life. I can imagine and sympathise when you say you can't find true enjoyment out of it now, it gets repetitive easy. What games evoke true enjoyment from you?

@bimmy-lee
Oh, btw.
Something happened in my country this afternoon at 2 pm.
There was an earthquake that shook East Java and other cities. The epicenter point was from Indian Ocean with depth more than 25 km.

I was resting on my bed while browsing internet from my handphone then suddenly i felt my bed was shaking. I thought my sibling's dog playing under my bed but when i saw the folding mirror from vanity table in my bedroom was shaking, i was frightened. The earthquake was only around 30 seconds and nothing serious happened, but the impact happened on other cities such as Malang which some buildings over there got damaged. It was first time i felt earthquake as i lived in Surabaya, i have never experienced something like this as i heard from Surabaya peoples that my hometown Surabaya was protected by something magical to prevent any disaster happened in my hometown. If something really serious happened in my hometown, the other countries will suffer even worse.

@Anti-Matter Well, I've only played a little bit of Dillon's Dead-Heat Breakers, lately. Maybe I'll make some time for it tomorrow. My progress as such is limited, compared to where I was, which is replaying the first fight/defend the fort over and over again to gain enough resources to build stuff for the truck.

And yes, I actually have played and own practically all the Rabbids games on the Wii. And I think your description of it is basically spot on: they are ugly AND massively annoying, but the mini-games can still be much fun regardless, and due to the enormous variety of mini games, there will always be something there to like, if you can look past being annoyed by the Rabbids themselves...

So, I'd say go for it: get all the Rabbids Wii games and have some fun with them.

@Tyranexx Notoriously? That bad, huh? Did you use a Wii remote & nunchuck to play, or a Wii wheel? Or perhaps even a GameCube controller? The latter is actually the best way to play Mario Kart Wii, just in case you were wondering...

P.S.

Eating burgers on an exercise day? You should be ashamed of yourself...

@bimmy-lee No worries, man. Wouldn't want you to go out of your way just to show it to me. Perhaps you can find a picture of something similar online? Otherwise, I'll just Google it myself, in hopes of getting the right results...

@Sunsy Same here. I was stoked to see Sonic Mania getting announced back in 2016 - a brand-new Sonic game that's just like the Genesis games? Sign me up! It lived up to my expectations too - it's my favorite Sonic game right next to Sonic 3 & Knuckles. I had a similar reaction to when Super Mario Odyssey got announced, up to its release. Loved 3D World (and still do), but was glad to see there's a brand new 3D Mario game that's a lot like Super Mario 64.

@bimmy-lee Seek sounds like a neat app. I haven't downloaded too much apps on my phone, but I'll consider it. Thanks!

@Anti-Matter Jeez, there was an earthquake in your area? Ouch...hope you're still doing okay. Glad to hear your area at least wasn't affected too badly, but I feel for those at Malang.

Upgraded my everdrive 64 to the X5 with a matching red shell to go with the controller dongle. I love how the system looks.
The system just needs twin exhaust pipes

@1UP_MARIO Looking at that picture, I couldn't help but think about Nintendo's idiocy of not having N64 games (let alone anything even more recent) on Nintendo Online, continuously rehashing their 8 and 16 bit titles.

So, on the one hand definitely one great console still, but on the other hand also a sad reminder of Nintendo still not getting with the times.

@Anti-Matter Wow...that's awful. My condolences to everyone affected by the earthquake and losses.

@1UP_MARIO Oh that's cool you got the X5 model. Your EverDrive and controller dongle look rad with their red see-through shells. I was considering getting an EverDrive for my SNES, N64, and Sega Genesis at some point.

@ThanosReXXX 100% agree. We have had 64 games and more on the Wii virtual console.

@MarioLover92 thanks. Previously had the 2.5 but I got it for a good price plus giving the old one away to my nephew.
If you can can get your hands on a Snes mini, don’t bother with the everdrive snes2sd.

@1UP_MARIO Oh that's cool. Thanks for your advice, I happen to have the SNES Classic already, as well as the Genesis Mini.

Edit: I totally forgot about the GBA! I may get an EverDrive for that one day.

@MarioLover92 I love these classic mini’s. I wish there was a official Nintendo 64 mini

@MarioLover92 I'll say. Crash 4 really feels like one of the PlayStation games to me, and I played those when my brother had a PlayStation a long time ago too. Here I thought Bowser's Fury was going to be like an expansion to 3D World. I didn't know until a little before release it was a new experience.

Also, got Balan Wonderworld as a gift. That's three games to keep me busy now. This is why I usually don't buy games around birthdays and Christmases, in event gifts happen.

@Anti-Matter Yikes, that must have been scary. Hope you are ok after that earthquake.

@1UP_MARIO Indeed. So strange how they've somehow went from Virtual Console, which had a wide variety of systems and games, to a NES and SNES only service, and not even a remotely close one, number-wise, because far as I can tell, the total number of games now available isn't even close to what was available on Virtual Console. Oh, well...

I'm still hoping against hope that they'll release an N64 Mini, which I'll then mod to contain all of the classics that I'd need to be able to play on an HDTV, but chances of an N64 Mini to actually appear seem to be slim to none, so I guess I'll have to make do with the original hardware for now.

The N64 titles will likely have to be streamed if Nintendo indeed launches that for NSO. They will definitely have to be streamed if GameCube games are available. The file sizes’ll just be too big to be able to download the software onto Switch.

@1UP_MARIO Yeah, that would have been neat to see, but I also wouldn't mind seeing an N64 compilation on the Switch. Same thing with the GameCube. There's still a lot of GC games that deserve a second chance, after all! Though, I do wonder how much space these games will eat up on a single Switch cart. I'd kind of prefer they go the Switch compilation route, only so that not as much things will take up my HDMI ports.

@Sunsy Yeah, even though Bowser's Fury has the same kind of controls and power-ups as 3D World itself, its structure is more along the lines of Odyssey. There's no timer to worry about, you can explore on your leisure, and you can get Cat Shines to make progress. It's pretty much 3D World and Odyssey combined into one. Enjoy the games you've got.

@MarioLover92 Would you like to see a full game with that style? If so how would it work?

@TheJGG Yes, I think it would be cool to see. It could have controls that are more similar to most of the 3D games (no run button), while the game could still provide power-ups like in the 2D games and 3D World. I think the game would work better like that, honestly - as much as I like 3D World I could totally make do with full analog moment and no run button.

Another idea I had is that one world could provide the player with like 1 or 2 power-ups. Or maybe there could be a world that's themed across a brand-new power-up. Like if there's a world that's themed around toys, there could be a toy soldier suit for Mario that lets him shoot with his cork gun. Or maybe Ice Mario from Super Mario Galaxy for an ice-themed world, except it's not time limited! Something like that.

@TheJGG For GameCube, they could simply release upscaled versions on the eShop, and N64 games could still be online. They aren't really as big as you seem to think they are.

The biggest ROM file size is 64MB, but that is an exception to the rule, with only three titles weighing in at that size: Pokemon Stadium 2, Resident Evil 2 and Conker's Bad Fur Day. On average, ROM file sizes vary from 4 to 32MB.

True @ThanosReXXX, but if they made people pay for Super Mario 64 they sure as heck are gonna make people pay for other stuff.
