@Zuljaras Yes I have experience with them. I would never link to or recommend shops that I don't trust myself. Over the last 10-15 years, I've bought quite a few games and peripherals from them, and never have I had to send something back or was I left disappointed, so I can vouch for them. They always clearly mention if something is complete, slightly damaged or worse, although they hardly sell anything in the "worse" category.
And yes, all products are original, unless otherwise mentioned. That only counts for controllers and other peripherals though, so not for games, but it's always mentioned next to the product, so you couldn't miss it.
As for Nedgame, I'll try and find out how much it costs when I just send something to Bulgaria, if that's cheaper than having it sent to you directly from the site/web shop, then we'll figure something out...
I was gonna buy some Pokemon cards(and maybe open a pack or two myself) to stick into my cousin's Easter Basket today. I have been reading about product shortages online for a while, but I figured they'd at least have some from less popular sets or older sets.
But as it turns out, most of what I've read online, if anything, is heavily understated. They didn't have anything in stock. Nothing. No starter decks, no booster packs, no theme boxes, no tins, no pin sets, they had a whole fat lot of nothing. The entire section was empty, with signs apologizing for being out of stock due to "high demand".
I've read about scalpers who follow the trucks around and buy everything in order to flip it at inflated prices. But somehow I didn't take the term "everything" as literally as I should have.
As a kid, I used to love going into my local store and picking a pack or two. I remember my mom getting angry as I'd take too long to decide which ones I wanted. But I guess for kids in 2021 it's not a matter of choosing a pack, but a matter of will your local store even have anything left for you at all. Or will it all be gone because some 45 year old man bought everything so he could resell it online at a mark up.
Looking online just to see what things are going for and things are being sold for anywhere between a 50% to 300% mark up.
@Zuljaras This is beautiful. I admit the sheer ingenuity of @ThanosReXXX's plan made me exclaim out loud, but that would be amazing if you two could pull it off. This trade deal debacle is trash.
This will be my 1000th post. I'm a person that really likes numbers and this number is a very important one because it represents my coming back to this site to post... one thousand times over four months. To celebrate I will reply to every single post within the last 24 hours of my beginning to write this, and I mean everything. Even the stuff I usually just look at and don't reply to. Be prepared.
@MarioLover92 When I bought my original 3DS back in 2012 I didn't get the free games. I remember reading about it a few years ago, and thinking back on it now I think two things. That's unusually generous of Nintendo to offer you twenty games for free, but at the same time they were NES and Game Boy Advance games.
Strangely enough I never experienced any kind of Nintendo product deficiency until Joy-Con drift, and even then it was a minor inconvenience that wasn't game breaking in the slightest. Having said that throughout my life battery degradation has been an absolute pain to manage. My Wii U GamePad has to be constantly connected to power otherwise the battery lasts three hours. My phone's screen has began to bulge because the battery's starting to wear from internal motherboard damage. I've managed my laptop battery better by keeping it unplugged if it's not at max battery though.
The SNES New 3DS is a gift from heaven, without any kind of overstatement. It's so beautiful, and the next best thing if you don't own a SNES or SNES Mini. Having said that the interchangeable plates on the New 3DS are also extremely cool, and makes me wish we had something like that for the Switch. I have a Super Mario Maker theme on my New 3DS that I've kept to this day. It's so colourful and has such nice pixel art, and it has a matte finish, so there's no ugly fingerprint stains that show up on the otherwise glossy covers otherwise.
@Eel You mean you took those images on a smartphone camera? I love landscape photography, but I haven't had many chances to go out and take photographs because there's absolutely nothing here worth taking. It's just desert, dust, sand, and buildings. Another reason for me to want this pandemic to subside, because I'll be able to leave the country, travel and take good photographs. I don't post them anywhere, I don't want social media, but having them and showing people privately is more than rewarding.
If you haven't tried this admittedly simple trick already, take a pair of tinted sunglasses and put them in front of your smartphone camera lens. I took a picture of the local "Tree of Life" during the middle of the day yet it looked like the sun was setting. Or even using ordinary sunglasses'll get rid of the sun glare.
@ThanosReXXX I agree with you, selfie people are so disingenuous. I've always been very self-conscious about my own smile but I've been told it's angelic. I think it's overhyped but I've all but come to terms with that. That's why I strangely enjoy wearing a mask, it allows your emotions to be subdued. I'm an outgoing person by nature but I equally prefer solitude and the art of being alone. With tourist places like New York, I had many images taken of me and I didn't want to smile for them because it would suggest disingenuity. I enjoyed that trip so much but my outlook is that smiling has become so fake now, that seeing a genuine smile becomes all the more rewarding.
On my own posts, context was very important and I'll hold my hands up and say that I made a mistake. Tyranexx was presumably busy this morning so no word back from her yet, so hopefully she either didn't notice or didn't take it offensively. I genuinely flubbed my grammar and given the subject matter I was talking about caution was thrown to the wind.
I could almost swear that Trials of Mana has a dedicated license for jiggle physics. In the menu screen I was poking around and stumbled upon the license screen. And the first thing I saw was a license for "KawaiiPhysics", which is either a nice attention to detail, or just plain perverted. Some of the female characters do utilise jiggle physics so... the license was used? Of all the things. They should have spent less money on the chest physics and more on the actual voice acting.
I like the optional accessibility options made by companies to make their games more accessible for everyone. For example disabling nudity in Cyberpunk 2077, and the option to turn off blood in Ghost of Tsushima. There isn't any cursing or sex in the latter so the M rating is only due to the violence, meaning this game'll go from an 18 to a 16 easy. It helps broaden the reach of the games and gives devs credo. And having jiggle physics off at first seems like a ploy to call out the people who manually turn them on. Smart move
About your photography, I've tried it before during either a ridiculously dusty sky, or a blood moon on October 31, and it was just a blur. If you have a professional camera with a lens and everything, then I imagine it won't be so hard next time.
And to weigh in again on your plight with @Zuljaras, that's a damn good shop you've used. The game prices are so cheap, so I think you've done him a massive service! Best of luck to you both and I hope you get it done in the end.
@Anti-Matter Wow. That video is... really... really well coordinated. The level of detail is just astounding, and the angles of the mirrors made things a bit harder for the imitator performers. It's very easy to see through it of course, at times there's a small gap between the real performer's move and the "mirror's" moves, but wow. Solid effort all around.
Same with the fake ping-pong video... that could have used a green (black) screen.
The only button challenge I can remember struggling with was in Ghost of Tsushima, where you have to strike a series of bamboo logs by pressing the right buttons on your DualShock/Sense controller within a small amount of time. There was no timer, just the time between you initiating the sword swing and when it connects with the bamboo. You started with three logs, then five, then seven.
Very lovely pictures you have made. The stuff you hand-draw is better than your digital artwork, because you actually have to draw it and put individual care into each stroke. Your colours are very rich. I wish you a happy Easter.
@bimmy-lee Typing, huh? I'm not too slow at typing if I have a clear objective in mind, though it can drag on for a while if I get stuck. A few years ago I was in a writing class and the teacher asked us to type non-stop in a document for five minutes, have a break, then type for five minutes again at full pelt. It was a great exercise for me because I was coming up with what to write extremely quickly, and putting it onto a document quick too.
Sometimes there's the unfortunate side effect of concentration where you'll end up so focused on a task that you'll forget what you're doing. I was swimming yesterday and we were instructed to swim twenty laps (400 metres). The only thing going through my mind was counting the number of laps but I ended up forgetting, and only finished at the correct time out of pure gut instinct.
@BruceCM I tried coffee once and it's far too bitter for me now. I still drink like a five year old; only water, apple and orange juice, and that's it. No soda, coke, fizzy drinks, nothing. I don't feel like I'm missing out either. Back when I was in elementary school everyone was bragging about their new phones, what time they went to sleep, and what new fizzy drink they were having, and I just never got into it. The same applies to Pokémon Go. I downloaded the game a while back but luckily I couldn't log in to create an account. I'm glad in the end...
@Heavyarms55 That's an admittedly prudent idea, shame there's absolutely no stock for you though. Scalping's an unfortunate side effect of collectathons, I hope the next big collecting thing'll be digital, so things like supply won't be an issue. I personally don't collect stuff in general, let alone Pokémon cards, because of money, but I'm sorry about your... loss.
Happy 1000th post, and here's to the next thousand!
@TheJGG yeah, I have a huawei phone. It seems to have the color correction and smoothing by default. I can't figure out how to turn it off, but I'm used to it by now.
Here's more pics from today. These match the description of just desert, dust, sand, and buildings a bit more!
Out little local tourism holiday trip ends tomorrow. We have been playing it safe and avoiding crowded places. Though it seems even in a pandemic, spring breakers do love their beaches.
@Eel The sky's very rich, so the camera captures the depth of the sky extremely well. If you love photographs you can try editing your images to emphasise colour.
I used Adobe Lightroom to touch up this one and I really brought out the yellow and emphasised the dark colours. It was taken in Darjeeling, India.
Oh that's a a really good one! The few buildings with color do pop a lot. It reminds me of the type of pictures they use in "spot the difference" books!
When I do decide to edit the pictures, I tend to overdo it. So I try limit myself to straightening them or using the premade filters.
@TheJGG
Thanks. 😀
But my digital drawing also from hand drawing first. I drew the model with pencil then i edit them with Corel Draw by making vector shapes, the thing i learnt long time ago back on year 2005 after 1 month i took a computer course about using Corel Draw.
Sometimes i changed quite a lot of the models from sketch as i worked with vector drawing, i always mirrored the image to check the result when being mirrored.
About my anthro creatures drawing, i learnt the anthro creatures looking in chibi from Japanese user on Twitter that have very great anthro creatures design in chibi proportion. When i designed my Anthro birds, Owl was the most difficult bird to design in Chibi Anthro bird as i oftenly found the way peoples drew Anthro Owl are very different each other and made me difficult to choose the best anthro design to be drawn. Next time i draw Anthro birds i will make sure they will look even cuter with six pack bodies, just only redesign their body proportion.
About talent show in Japan, it was long time ago Japanese peoples made some crazy ideas to entertain peoples before nowadays tv program is boring and not attractive anymore like used to be. I didn't watch TV for several years due to lack of interesting TV programs i want to watch recently so i decided to watch Youtube videos for more video choices anytime anywhere.
This medley is easily one of my favourite arrangements of all time. The instruments used have been mastered so well and it has so much energy. This song was half the reason why I managed thirty minutes on a treadmill a few days ago. So much passion.
Last week i bought a 2nd hand switch lite mainly for monster hunter rise, i created a new account and joined my friend's family membership for cost sharing, then i realized the switch lite 5.5 inch screen is abit small for monster hunter rise, text is small to read, it makes me dizzy, i sold the switch lite, later bought a regular switch and using back my account that i created from switch lite.
My friend told me to beware of used switch because the previous owner might did some illegal activity such as custom firmware or buy games using stolen credit card which will cause the switch to be ban later. Now i abit worry, if the previous owner really did some illegal stuff, will my new switch getting risk of ban? since i used the account i created from the switch lite on my new switch.
@TheJGG Congrats on beating Ghost of Tsushima! I was thinking of getting it once I have my PS5. Or a PS4 Slim if the PS5's still not available.
Speaking of batteries, the one thing that annoys me about modern controllers is that their batteries drain completely if you don't use them for a long time. How dumb is that??? I pretty much do the same thing with my laptop, unplugging the charging cable when it gets to 100%.
Yeah, I never got the SNES edition New 3DS XL, but I do at least have the SNES Classic. So it's not all bad. I would have loved the changeable faceplates that the regular New 3DS has, but I was so used to the larger screens so I ended up getting that red New 3DS XL. I do agree on the glossy finish. It looks cool at first, but later on it's gonna have fingerprints all over it. The original 3DS had that same glossy finish as well.

AKA MarioVillager92. Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I want to get to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@MarioLover92 It's relatively violent but the graphics are just beautiful. I've done a small amount of research after beating it, and the idea of samurai being honourable, isn't true. Samurai were mercenaries, not knights. And even medieval knights were shady...
Don't get me wrong though; I love Jin's character arc, exploring his struggles between following the samurai code, and doing what is necessary to beat the Mongols. The way it played out for me made for a truly gripping storyline. And the way it ended was on such a deeply emotionally satisfying note. Saying you're missing out is unfair because you don't have the chance to refuse it in the first place. You may be MarioLover92 and may always be MarioLover92 but... from my point of view, and this is something I went through five years ago, expanding your range of games is always worth it.
Busy holiday weekend, and my grandma's b-day on top of that. 93 years young! She's received a ton of cards, phone calls, and has a virtual flower garden on her kitchen table!
@MarioLover92 - Truth be told, without those holiday bundles I would've went with the aqua blue 3DS. Blue is my favorite color, though I would've preferred a darker/deeper blue kinda like what the 2DS received; honestly, I prefer darker shades of most colors in general.
Ah, so you've experienced circle pad death? Never had anything like that yet thankfully, though the circle pad on my older system occasionally makes an odd scraping sound. I only notice it in quiet environments, so I usually chalk that one up to my OCD. The SNES edition is great, though I would've preferred a different SNES VC game over the original Mario Kart. It was nice to try out the series in its original format, but...I'd say the original game hasn't aged the best. I'm not the biggest fan of racing games as, like fighting games, they just don't hold my attention long. But I have gleaned some enjoyment from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. When the CPU isn't being an absolute troll anyway....
I'm tempted to get an extra pair of joy-cons for the day when mine inevitably do start drifting, but hopefully the pro controller will be a nice stand-in if that does happen. Most of my games support the pro controller, barring my current distraction - Pokemon: Let's Go Eevee. I've mostly been playing the game in handheld mode since I'm not the biggest fan of the motion capture controls when my system is docked.
@TheJGG First of all - I completely missed any previous innuendo, intentional or no. Or I did notice it and it didn't really register. I've had a couple sleep cycles since then. No offense taken.
I probably sit about that far from my television as well on average, unless I'm playing on my SNES Classic (Yay corded controllers lol; makes me feel like a kid again!). Though it's only a 39" TV and is smaller than what some have in their living rooms.
Sorry to hear about the phone. Yes, I agree a replacement may be best at this point. I certainly like getting my hands on new tech, but I'm one who doesn't replace anything unless there's a significant need. I've owned my current phone for almost three years and am starting to consider replacing it; no major issues like what you're experiencing (Seriously, a bulging battery is a huge red flag), but I occasionally have issues when on calls. It's started dropping calls occasionally, and in some cases the other party inexplicably starts sounding like a VHS tape on fast-forward when I'm talking to them. A bunch of loud squeaking, and I can't understand a thing. It's already stopped receiving some OS updates too.
Just to clarify, I didn't take your decision to turn back as laziness or weakness; you made an honest assessment like you mentioned, listened to your body, and realized that, health-wise, turning back was your best bet. No shame in that IMO. The fact that you even went speaks volumes; plenty of people would've noped right out of that.
Duly noted on not missing either the movie or book.
I think what's attracted me to Attack On Titan, besides the really cool/insane/dark premise, lore, and world, are how utterly human and normal the characters, from the limited footage I've seen, feel. There are many layers, motivations, and different personalities to learn about and contend with. And this is only based off of limited exposure! XD
Congrats on clearing Ghosts of Tsushima!
@ThanosReXXX I know what you mean. There are many cool promotions, events, and other things that show up over here in the US, but with a couple of exceptions a lot of that only shows up on the West or East Coast. WAY too far out of my way to usually bother with. The two closest major cities to me would be the only ones worthwhile to travel to, but they don't catch a lot of these events. One farther away that does get a lot of those events would take at least an entire day's trip; sometimes it's smarter just to spend the night. Not exactly worth it in most cases.
Good point on the selfie buffoons. I probably wouldn't stand out too much. But I would feel so, SO awkward doing that. XD
@bimmy-leeAge of Calamity is certainly going to be a warm-up for BotW2 when that does show up. I haven't picked up the game yet since I don't think it'll float off shelves anytime soon, and I'm trying to tame ye olde backlog a bit. Which was going well until all these Switch eShop sales started popping up.... XD
Glad to read that all the Bimms are well! Home improvement, huh? I'm doing a bit of that in my off time as well. Mostly some of the usual yard work and a bit of patching up, but I'm also looking at getting some plumbing work done. Nothing serious; there's a spigot on the back part of my house that hasn't worked or even had a handle since I've moved in. I don't even know if it's hooked up to my current water supply. I had someone come do an estimate last week. Shouldn't be too bad price-wise.
Ah, the good ol' days of Easter Egg dying. Yummy eggs, fun colors/patterns, and rainbow fingers.
Currently playing: Pokemon Scarlet DLC, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury (Switch)
@TheJGG Yeah I agree with that, I didn't think I would get into Xenoblade Chronicles when it first came out on the Wii, but I eventually gave it a shot and now it's one of my favorite games/series. Rest assured, I do play more than just Mario, Zelda, and Sonic games. lol
@Tyranexx Ah I see, never had my circle pad have that scraping sound. I did hear it make a sliding sound when I move it, but it's nothing major. That must have been a pain to hear constantly.
Yeah, these days I end up playing the newer Mario Karts over the older ones. They all have better controls and tracks, as well as larger character rosters. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is definitely my favorite overall, with Double Dash and DS not too far behind. Mario Kart Wii is also pretty good, I really like some of the tracks in that game, though the bikes are insanely OP and it has the dreaded thunder cloud item.
Super Mario Kart is still a good game though, it's more skill based than the other games and it has solid (if a bit simple) track design. I love the game's soundtrack, as well. Rainbow Road and the Battle Mode theme are some of my favorite game music of all time!
Oh okay, so the Let's Go games require the joy-cons if you're playing on the TV? I do remember seeing that you shake one of the joy-cons to throw a Poke Ball.

I got Covid-19 vaccine injection this morning with other school staffs and other teachers. We got injection at nearest public clinic from my school. Before we got injection, the medic staffs checked our blood pressure, asking about other body condition before we got checked the HIV test from our blood by taken a tiny droplets of blood from our finger after the staff pricked with steril thumbtack. After 10 minutes waiting, if the result was Negative, we will continue to get injection. We took 30 minutes to wait after got injection, to prevent something wrong happened after got injection. I was fine this morning, nothing felt weird. But this evening, my body started to show a little bit sign of get fever. My body felt a little bit tired but still fine. I checked my forehead, didn't feel warm. I have to take plenty of rest at night after working time at school so during 2 weeks after got injection i will play handheld games a lot since the games are beside my bed.
Hopefully my body will be fine until several weeks later.
