@ThanosReXXX Don’t worry about it, I feel the same way about Brits. I was in Bristol in September and saw a group of twenty teenagers, or university students. They were all socialising without distancing or masks, and were on their skateboards. If these are average citizens then Britain deserves their 60,000 daily cases. And then they say things like “I’ll never forgive Boris for cancelling Christmas” because they’re so utterly delusional that it isn’t their fault.
@Tyranexx I absolutely SUCK at super bosses. I turned on Casual Mode for them and still can’t beat Avalanche Abaasy. And though I’m able to play the game without Shulk in the lead sometimes I’ll use him for particularly tough fights like Jade Face. On Wii he was so tough that I restarted the whole game out of frustration and erased 65 hours of progress just to see why I was so bad!
@Tyranexx traditionally, at least here in Mexico, it's flavored with orange peel/blossoms and decorated with preserved/crystalized fruits, and sugar, etc.
The one we got this year also has a chocolate filling. So it is extra fancy 👌
Here, the traditional decoration alternates the toppings in a way that makes it look kinda like a milk snake. Google "Rosca de reyes" and you'll probably find a Mexican one right away.
Edit: aw. It seems our cake had only babies. Too bad. I wanted to see the other pieces.
@MarioLover92 I admittedly didn't use Melia much. I've heard she's an excellent combatant in the right situations, but I just didn't have the patience to deal with her squishy defenses early on. I'm like that with a lot of mage types, unfortunately. She's probably the character I used the least besides Riki.
@theJGG I messed around with a few super bosses, but not all of them lol. Jade Face was a fun fight, albeit another difficult one. I saw that twist coming tbh, but the game caught me plenty of other times. XD
@Eel Oof, after more web searching, it appears I had the Mardi Gras variety in mind. Apologies if my original inquiry was a little odd lol. I did search Rosca de Reyes, and THAT is a variant I'd definitely try! Especially if there are delicious fillings involved.
Currently playing: Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (Switch), Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations (Switch/AAT)
@MarioLover92 That's not how it worked when I tried that in the past. You can join up with a friend, but you need to have a full team. I remember distinctly trying it with 2 friends and it not working because we needed a 4th person.

@Tyranexx Oh no worries. It was just a shot in the dark invite since despite having 145 people on my friend list, at the time only like 3 people were online and no one was responding. Though Eel did join me for a couple raids.
Yeah, I wish one could do that too. But it would probably be hard to limit it. You'd probably end up with full groups of 20 all the time if you could chain invites. I have realized that Genesect is surprisingly easy to beat for a 5 star raid. I've won with only 3 people with plenty of time to spare still.

@MarioLover92 I've been trying to check out the easter eggs in it, actually was up late last night just to see the sleep picture for 11 PM-12 AM. I didn't even know there was an actual Game and Watch version of Super Mario Bros until looking this up and one of the results was a YouTube video of the original 80's one. I remember seeing the other Game and Watches online in the past on a Mario fan site.
@Losermagnet it's going to be a crazy few years for you guys looking from the outside.
Hopefully someone stands who can bridge the gap between Left and Right in 4 years time or the political division will only become more violent.
I think this wasn't helped after they let the Riots in Portland go on for so long without taking action - other people then get it into their head to take violent action when they feel wronged.
@WaveWitch I'm the other way, love the Lite (even including its short comings) as im 100% handheld on Switch - If I'm playing on the TV I want 4k and steady 60fps.
I found the Swiych cumbersome to play handheld for extended periods and as I have arthritis in my knuckles it also got painful for me, I don't get any of that from the Lite and it's perfect to play in bed while she watches TV.
@WaveWitch Nintendo is a little behind on this tech. They mainly rely on their flagships Mario, Zelda and Pokemon to carry them and ofc the portability.
I doubt the will even attempt again something like that after the ... dare I say it ... LABO!
@Heavyarms55 Huh. That's really odd...it should let you join a friend and do the rest of the player matching anyway. I did some research right here and it said that in version 4.0.0 (from 2018), it'll add the appropriate number of teammates for if there's fewer than 4 friends if you're playing in normal Splatfest battles. So I think they changed that. Once we both have the time, do you wanna try to join me while I play a normal turf war match? I'm curious to see how it works now.
Now that you mention it, I have tried joining someone on my friend list a couple years ago but I couldn't join for whatever reason. That player sent me a friend request from a global testfire match and since there's no messaging on the Switch, it was literally impossible to keep an open line of communication.
@Tyranexx Ah I see. While I was doing side quests, I've been playing as her and she's got some really powerful arts. So she seems to be quite promising to me.
@Sunsy Yep - I actually used to have that game in a Nintendo Mini Classics handheld. It was shaped like a Game Boy Pocket - it was green, had a keychain, was really small, and even had a kickstand. I lost it a long time ago though.

The main (2) issues (that I know won't straight up break the rules on here) are social media and the polarization that the US has been going through for a while now.
1. When social media began to become more and more prevalent in our lives, some people started to have social media tell them what to do (even if they doing it before) and having the social media"tell them" what to think and why.
Unfortunately, this has caused people to go into "mob mentality" mode and have people not thinking about what they believe in, and going with "the rest of the wave".
2. The polarization the US is going through has become more and more "normalized" because of social media, and also because of the rise of "extremist" groups on both sides, and the decline of moderate groups on both sides.
I will now back out of this, as I don't want to go any further into this, and start a "forum war".
Please let me know if I came off as too strong (at all), as I wanted to make this point, but I that this is a "sensitive" topic, so I want to as civil and respectful as I can be, but also still get the point across. 🤔
I also don't usually dive into "politics", but I felt I needed to speak up about this.
EDIT: Replaced "the internet" with "social media" to make my statement more accurate.
@ThanosReXXX
You're totally fine. I completely get where you coming from. I haven't watched TV news in years, and I haven't really looked into any "political" news (aside from elections) since May 2017, because of how toxic (and depressing) news can be. The only "real" news I look at now is gaming and movie related (mostly Disney for movie news).
Okay, thanks for letting me know. That's why I didn't contact any of the staff, as the issue seemed to go away quickly, and I figured it was the occasional glitch that websites have when being redirected to somewhere else.
@Tyranexx
Okay, thanks for letting me know. It sounds like you also have a plan for your current backlog as well. I also don't pick many games on day one, but sometimes I'll pick them up on day one.
Please give Ninjala a chance, guys. 🤔
As @Sunsy said,
Ninjala Gang FOR LIFE!
Also, if I don't respond to your post within a day (or two), don't worry, I'm not ignoring you. I'm going to be busy, though I will do my best to respond in a timely fashion.
@WaveWitch I love the PSVR (even if I do just play beat saber on it nowadays) although I've found the games to be quite hit and miss.
One of the worst was Quivr, picked it up as I enjoy archery and thought a fantasy VR version would be cool, but I was very wrong on that one lol.
Some of the platform games likes Moss, Ghost Giant and AstroBot have been the best examples of the tech and ones I've enjoyed most - which is weird as it's normally my least favourite genre.
