@Heavyarms55 Well, your guess is as good as mine, but I'm suspecting that Nintendo still sees their NES and SNES days as their own golden age, and rightfully so to some extent, so if you look at it that way, then it probably makes sense to them to re-release all those games first (or only those games, which I hope they won't, obviously), and all that comes after hasn't been nearly as successful, because even though there have been some great and well-received and reviewed games on both the N64 and the GameCube, both systems obviously didn't do all that great commercially, and compared to the competition.
But here's hoping they'll eventually realize that people want those titles from those other systems as well, and that at some point, rather sooner than later, they REALLY need to get with the times, because speaking in general, even for the considerably lower subscription price, it's still a pretty laughable service, compared to everything that's on offer from the competition.
As for the rest: you're very welcome. It may not look like it at all sometimes, but I do also come here to vent sometimes. Especially after a particularly tough or lousy day, to take my mind off of things.
After all: what better place to do that, than on an online forum with a bunch of anonymous friends, who don't immediately judge you for who you are, where you are from or because they think they "know" you, resulting in predisposed opinions, regardless of any actual situation or proof?

There are reports of people seeing the red baron shooting their planes down in plane mode, and seeing really weird dark, massive buildings that change their shapes (some becoming really bizarre non-euclidean shapes) as you fly near them.
(could this be my derivative creepypasta ticket to creepypasta fame? I think it might need more hyper-realistic eyes)

@Eel So, did you go for the computer with the parts that you listed a while back, or have you added/changed any components? That table you've chosen literally sounds like some heavy duty shizzle, by the way...

@ThanosReXXX yeah I bought the components I listed, plus a few extra bits and bops my brother suggested, like the extra fans, a wifi card, and a Bluetooth dongle.
I do certainly hope the desk will be able to survive living with me. So solid rock looked like a good option 😅
@Eel And of course, besides it being more sturdy than your average computer desk, it'll also be easy to clean, for all those potential coffee/soup/Mountain Dew accidents...
@Eel I don't know, because they don't really sell it over here, unless it's in the odd specialty shop. But yeah, it's one of the more sweeter soda pops out there, and there's various flavors, all capable of eroding the enamel off of your teeth...
I've often seen it "pop up" in various US-related discussions, and there's some YouTubers, obviously the more unhealthy ones, that seem to be wholesale sponsors of that particular brand.
Which version of 99 Luftballoons do you guys enjoy the most, the english one or the german original?

@ThanosReXXX yeah they don't really sell it here either. And I don't quite like soda, so I never considered tasting it before.
Not that I'm considering it now though.... But with that color I just wonder if it's supposed to be lemon lime, or some green offshoot of "fruit punch" flavor.
@Eel Well, far as I know, they always advertised it as a cool, hip soda, so they probably selected that color to make it stand out, much like those energy drinks such as Monster and Red Bull. As you can see, all of the colors look rather toxic, which is probably also what makes it attractive for kids.
From the brand name alone, you'd think it was fresh and healthy spring water, instead of sugar spiked and artificially colored soda...

@Eel It's lemon lime. It's sweet, but it's not bad. I like it on occasion but I prefer the special release versions that use real sugar like back in the day rather than the modern HFCS version. The colors.... that yellow color is banned in some countries, which is why the product is banned, but there's still no real conclusive proof that the color is bad either. Sometimes the US gets it wrong by allowing the food companies to decide what's safe and what isn't, but sometimes the US gets it right and the world overreacts to tenuous links and claims that don't have evidence to back them. The world was better before food was mostly a product engineered in a lab by chemists. But that was a long time ago now.
That said, I also preferred the world before companies dumbed down to "millennial speak" and truncated the word "mountain" to "mtn" because "mountain" is just too hard to read. Liek idk y u wud need 2 trncte stf liek that 4 ne1 to understnd. Is teh smartest most edcted hi slry gen evr!
