"Does anybody have weird dreams?"

Let me tell you my epic dream.
Back on October 2015 after i had a school field trip, i was dreaming something abstract yet looks like 3D Action movie.
I saw a lot of gears moving around in the darkness then suddenly i saw a wooden puppet head laughing hard. I went into its mouth and i saw there were like 3 little creatures were having a nap on clock numbers. They were Demix (IX), Tex (X) and Lexi (XI). They were the time guardians. Suddenly one of them felt something wrong with time movement and ask their partner to check out the outside. Actually it was a chaos outside. The silver moon that shined their world suddenly turned dark. And there were a lot of flying creatures invading the world next to the time guardians live.

Meanwhile at different place, there were a robot invasion from nowhere and i saw there was a young boy with his robot partner tried to defend themself by shooting the robots with their arm cannons. That young boy gathered some powers and he did a spiral movement then blast a powerful beam to destroy a massive group of invader robots. But the amount of invader robots were too many. That young boy and his partner were cornered. They were worried to save the world and the same time they have to go to school before late. And my dream was over as i woke up in the night. Before i forgot with my dream i wrote off all the things i remembered and when i read again, it was like Big Hero 6 somehow despite i haven't watch that show at that time.

I have another epic dream again, like RPG adventure but i will tell you next time.

Woot! I didn't fry my new computer after all! New PSU installed and it booted up properly! I think all is well now. Still gotta do a bunch of set up and confirm everything is straight, but it boots up properly! Good stuff!

There's one less concern to have nightmares over. I did not buy a 1900 dollar paper weight!

@Heavyarms55 Always a good thing. How much was a PSU, like $60?

@MarioLover92 Good to know SF 64 is worth it. I actually did beat Star Fox 2, but I admittedly used one of the easier settings IIRC. I know the original SF (as Star Fox 2 never officially released until it shipped with the SNES Classic) was pretty awesome for its time, but the graphics and overworld during missions aren't exactly easy on my eyes lol.

@NintendoByNature I noticed everything seems to be numbered for each actual story chapter, but there are a ton of sub-missions. I could describe where I'm at (guessing you're farther along than I am), but just in case I won't for the time being to avoid spoilers lol.

@Heavyarms55 Glad to hear you didn't brick the machine, especially after seeing how much you spent on it! /Phew Is it a gaming rig? What are its intended functions?

@Tyranexx Yeah, it's a gaming rig. But it's gonna be my primary PC for a good few years.

@HobbitGamer add another 100 to that. I might have over compensated a bit. My cousin helped me install it and he thinks it's a bit more power than I need.

@Heavyarms55 how would you fry a computer, i mean where you trying to do to much with it?

@Tyranexx I don't wana spoil anything for you either! I'm about 6-8 hours in id say. So decent amount down. Read on HLTB its about a 15 hour campaign. So about halfway give or take

@Heavyarms55 Sounds like a pretty decent one! I have a coworker who built an insane rig, all for programming, video editing, and live streaming. I'm thinking of building my own down the line for some rendering and light gaming on the side. ...But that's a ways off yet.

@NintendoByNature Lol, I doubt I'm halfway through yet, partially because I've already redone a couple of sections just to get better scores...once I figured out what I needed to do. Love the writing so far, not sure what to think about the controls yet. Been playing in docked mode.

@Ninfan I had the wrong power supply. Japan is 100 but the US is 120. The old one was a Japanese supply.

@Tyranexx well it just wasn't worth the cost of shipping my 8 year old PC overseas again, so instead of getting some cheap rig that'll last 2 years tops I wanted another machine that'll last me 8+ years.

@BabyYoshi12 Arlo's become pretty annoying in recent years honestly. His Twitter posts about being butthurt about how underwhelmed he is about recent Nintendo Directs got really tiring to see and I just unfollowed him as a result. He's not afraid to tell you how much he hates anime lmao

@Tyranexx Yeah - we didn't have the original Star Fox back when the SNES was a current-gen console, so it did feel a little weird when I first played it, with its super-old-school polygonal graphics and choppy framerate. (FYI, SF64 was the first one I played) But yeah, the game looked amazing at the time, and that was released a year before DKC! I do think SF1 is a pretty good game, but SF64 is even better. It pretty much improves on everything the original game did and then some.

yeah I watched one of his vids and he is so stinking annoying. He rants about everything, makes terrible jokes, and stretches his vids so long it becomes boring. Def one of the worst gaming channels out there.

I ran across Arlo at some point, but I couldn't really stand to watch much of that channel. Not that I dislike muppets by any means (as I normally love them), but I just found it all annoying. I don't watch a lot of YouTubers in general these days.

@Heavyarms55 I totally get that thinking; building something that will last, while expensive up front, is definitely cost-effective in the long run. I don't know how many times I've tried to dissuade people from buying those cheap doorbuster laptops that often show up around the holidays. I try to give advice based on what people want to do with a system, and more often than not they don't need anything too crazy. But I also want them to get a machine that won't crap out or severely slow down in only a year or two.

@MarioLover92 From what I've read/heard, SF 64 is also basically another take on the plot of the first game. Just better lol.

Pretty much all the SNES games I had access to back in the day were platformers; we didn't own the system - it belonged to relatives, but I was over there a lot as my aunt babysat me - and there weren't a ton of games. But many of them were decent: Super Mario World, Super Mario All-Stars (I played these first and didn't realize until years later that the rest of the Marios after the original Super Mario Bros. were originally on the NES; they really cleaned them up!), Toy Story, and the original Donkey Kong Country were frequent staples. Then there was one of those "meh" edutainment games. Not sure if you've heard of Captain Novolin? XD
