Been stuck in middle Georgia for a region meeting during past 5 hours. It’s not getting better.
Ugh. I don't mind some smaller meetings to help break up the day, but long-term ones suck. Thankfully I don't often have many other than our short morning "Stand Up" meeting.
Well, foot! Did you at least get any feedback or anything you could use in another. Sorry to hear that, I know you said you really wanted that one.
@Tyranexx The frustrating part of that quarterly meeting is that my agency only provides one service to clients of this particular health contract, and it’s only ever discussed for 10 minutes at most. Today, not at all. 3 hours of driving and 6 of sitting, while ducking out to field calls from another director and the ceo. But lunch was free...even though it was typical southern food.
@Knuckles-Fajita Ah... that's a shame. Chin up, though. A lot has happened to you lately, and apparently, the Universe, God, fate, or whatever you want to call it or believe in, has chosen for your pet to get well again, instead of something else positive happening in your life.
Still, having a healthy dog again, is certainly nothing to scoff at, even though that job would have been nice,
I reckon...
But keep at it, something's gotta give at some point. Someone once told me that it's not about how many times you get knocked down, but about how many times you get back up again.
And if you're a reader, and need some inspiration, then I would suggest taking a look at Eckhart Tolle's "The Power of Now", and one other book that I myself am keeping half an eye on, is ex-Google exec Mo Gawdat's book "Solve For Happy: Engineer Your Path To Joy".
Now, I'm not really the floaty type, actually more of a realist, but I like optimism, and matter-of-factness, and both these books contain lots of that. They can be handy and perhaps even healthy tools, as long as people approach the matter contained within, with an open mind.
Uggh...
Suddenly my mind goes blank.
I dunno what should i draw.
I am not in the mood to draw for several hours despite i have to draw something either for my Drawing lesson or my Drawing project on my PC.
@Anti-Matter Do you have any ARMS characters that you haven't made a picture of?
Your other pictures were really good!
-Go Vacation is also a good idea, maybe a picture for each resort?
Aaargh... Not yet.
I was thinking about Min Min and Max Brass for Chibi ARMS but my fingers were not ready to draw some sketches.
Go Vacation each Resorts ??
Gosh.... it will take very long time.
I will try my best.
Btw, Go Vacation characters themself are already Chibi (3 to 1 Chibi proportion) and in my version it will be Nendoroid proportion.
@Knuckles-Fajita If that is a periodic thing, then yes, you should.
Better safe than sorry is still a universal truth...
I'm obviously no therapist, but it sounds to me like you might need to book some sessions with either a chiropractor or a manual therapist. Either way, hope you find some relieve soon.
On a side note: personally, I wouldn't be wearing other people's braces. Not because of being bacteriophobic or anything like that, but because of wear: apparel like that, over time, kinda "molds" into place, due to usage and the body shape of the wearer. Of course, you can tighten it, to make it fit better, but it still isn't 100%, so having your own brace would be better.
I need to get my right knee sorted too. Not only did it used to be prone to partial dislocations, it also now enjoys seizing up and causing intense pain if let immobile.
