I bought one of the new anniversary tamagotchis! They're so small.

They simplified the gameplay, which I don't know if it's good or bad. But yeah it's definitely a tamagotchi alright.

I had a hard time choosing between the orange and transparent blue ones. I went with orange because it had "tamagotchi" written on it, but now I wish I had gone with blue... This "orange" looks very pink under warm light. So now I'm a grown adult carrying around a tiny pink egg.

@ZurapiiYohan, yeah, it's really quite something in person. I'm sure you'll like it if you get one.

It was my first time ever importing anything, so that in itself was pretty exciting.

Hm these "steak fingers" I bought for breakfast from Dairy Queen have the exact same flavor and consistence as chicken nuggets. I'm disappointed.

I'm eating potato soup with rutabaga, celeriac, carrot greens, pork fat and mustard... I admit, it sounds a whole lot less appetising when I write it down, but it's very good.

We are traveling by car through the US! We gotta eat the local food.

Which means I've been eating fast food almost three times a day for about a week and a half.

I mean, what's a year or two when it comes to life expectancy.
