That always confuses me whenever someone does that. I'm British, so I think of £ as the pound sign.

I'd call # a hash or a number sign.

Overall, I am enjoying my time with Sword of Hajya at this point. According to the review here, the game is set roughly two decades after Shining Force II. It looks like I'll have to try the earlier games at some point.

...Going back to the Demon Rod, I didn't realize that cursed weapons were actually a thing in this series until it was too late. Tbh I didn't even pay attention to the name of the item much, only the increased attack power. XD

I've always heard # called the number or pound sign.

There was a discussion about how to call the # when #FE came out.... A lot of people were calling it a hashtag but since it was used in a musical setting, it was a sharp. It seems it has a lot of names.
