All in favor of Falco for god tier? Nah, in all seriousness he's a really great character to play as and I love successfully pillaring with him. Feels so good, you know?
On a completely unrelated note: epic Fox destruction video. I really suggest you guys watch this because this guy is flippin' insane with Fox! I mean seriously, watch dat tech skill. Now that's godly:
“The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. You have to make it fall.” - "Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them."
@dragoon, man Luigi's recovery in melee was garbage to me. You couldn't even move after you used it D: @KB, Falco is able to do some hard to block combos in melee. A bunch of chain grabs, a meteor smash low to the ground, use the reflector on em' then repeat once and take them out with a smash. Me and my cousin did this once!

Not meaning to be a know-it-all, but didn't you mean Falco's spike/dair instead of his meteor smash? Falco's only meteor smashes were his phantasm and his d-throw near the edge of the arena. Plus it's really difficult to chain-grab with Falco on a pro, because you can easily break out of it when he's trying for the next grab and thus would be really bad to use against pros and such.

Unlike Fox's down aerial, Falco's is a meteor smash.
Link or it didn't happen.
Seriously, I wanna know where you're getting this, because http://super-smash-bros.wikia.com/wiki/Falco_%28SSBM%29 says "Unlike Fox's D-Air, Falco, who spins around in places at a downwards angle, strongly spikes the foe."

Preference doesn't matter when you're talking about the quality of the products. Since opinions vary by such a big degree, the only concrete evidence for what is good and not good about a video game is what that game does to not only provide entertainment, but how it betters the industry. Example: I really love the Serious Sam games, but there's no doubt it's done nothing to help the industry evolve, grow, or become better. DOOM has, and it's influence is undeniable, and still is seen in todays games 18 years later.
I still don't understand your logic, seeing as how I think Serious Sam is a better game. But whatever, it seems the forum has moved on from this discussion.
As for my Main, I don't have one. I just play with whoever I feel like playing and hope I win, seeing as I suck equally with everyone.
In SSB, Kirby was my go-to character. No further questions on why. He was just awesome, that's why.
In Melee, it was usually Samus or Dr. Mario. Yeah, I was actually decent with him. Throwing pills at people, like a boss!
In Brawl, it changed numerous times. I started with Olimar, went to the Pokemon Trainer, fell in love with Ike and Snake, then switched over to Sonic, then started to venture into new territory (Peach, Lucario and Zero-Suit Samus).
If I could choose a character I've used effectively in the last few Brawls I fought, it would be Zero-Suit Samus.

Duuuude. My brother mained Dr. Mario in SSBM for awhile too. His tactics were so annoying, yet so effective. Cape when they're too close, uair when they're above you, pill them when they're too far away, if you're both running at each other; slide, and grab them whenever you get the chance. Terrible, terrible little strategy.
Also, I used to main Olimar as well. Love his edgehogging tricks. :3

I just went to a Super Smash Bros. tournament and I won! I totally wasn't expecting to win! All I got was a $10 gift card to Circle K but I don't care! I won the first tournament I've ever entered!
Brawl is pretty much dead. We're not going to see a new Brawl tournament coming anytime soon.
We will have to wait for the next Super Smash Bros game, to see anymore tournament. Good thing too, since I suck at Brawl, and unable to beat anyone.....
