By "really" I meant, "are we really using Rise of the Silver Surfer as the bar of quality for Marvel films?" In no way was I implying that it's a good movie

I just watched The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader and it is much better than Prince Caspian. I never realized how much Christian Imagery there was. Spoiler Alert
Aslan is Jesus! It's funny, I read the books years ago and I never got the implications before.
I'm really looking forward to DreamWorks Animation's upcoming films Turbo, Puss in Boots, Kung Fu Panda 2 Kaboom of Doom and How To Train Your Dragon 2 along with the How To Train Your Dragon television series.
I really enjoyed the first Kung-Fu Panda, because it had an amazing soundtrack and beautiful visuals and animation. I'm very skeptical of the new one though, because it appears that they are just dragging the very few jokes that were in the first over to the second one. (stairs for instance) Also, it won't be as fun because Jack Black plays a winner instead of a fat looser who no one has faith in. It is kind of like how No More Heroes 1 had a better story than 2. It is more entertaining and humorous to follow the story of a looser trying to become a winner, than a winner trying to remain a winner. And Gulliver's Travels was the worst movie I've ever seen, and now I have a strong hatred towards Jack Black when he is doing things for children.

Really hoping to see First Class this weekend. I've read nothing but rave reviews.
thats when you know you cannot go wrong with Kevin bacon
This is ground control to major Tom, you've really made the grade. And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare
Am I the only one excited for Super 8 this weekend? I've heard it's getting mixed reviews, but I'm a sucker for JJ Abrams's films/shows. I get excited when films keep their details a mystery.

I just watched The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader and it is much better than Prince Caspian.
Why does everybody hate Prince Caspian? I thought it was better than the first and MUCH better than Dawn Treader, but the only person who seems to agree with me is one of my friends.
I can't wait to see Super 8. It looks really good.

I didn't hate Prince Caspian but I would rank it last out of the three.

I'm going to see it in a few hours. I've ended up loving everything I've seen by J.J. Abrams, so I'm excited.

I don't hate Prince Caspian, it just didn't like it as much as the first movie. I had low expectations for Voyage of the Dawn Treader, but found that I really enjoyed seeing Lucy and Edwin come into their own. Also I'm really excited that FOX has green light the Magician's Nephew.
Watched Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief again.
Dear god, why did I watch it again. It's the biggest atrocity ever to hit any type of screen. The producers too the original book, shreded it to pieces, ate the shreds, then pooped out the shreds. They then re-assembled the shreds, then burned them with the other four books in the series. They then assemble the ashes, press it into a film strip, then show it. This movies sucks on so many accounts, I'm not afraid to say that it its the worst movie I've ever seen. Rick Riordan, why did you approve this sh*t.
Anyone seen Avatar? /me prepares to be pelted by popcorn.
Although, for a serious question, has anybody watched Priest? The trailer seemed amazing on TV, and was thinking of using it as an excursion to the cinema after a few long years.
I wanted to see Priest. Then again, I wanted to sleep. I chose sleep over Priest.
Also, I'm sorry, but Bridesmaids looks so funny. Can't wait to see that.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
Priest was "meh". If I had to give it an (optimistic) rating, I'd give it a 6/10. Nothing really stood out as being fantastic and I've already forgotten nearly everything about it. The end was extremely lame. It's as if they filmed the entire movie, then randomly sliced it in half and sent it to the theater. Most folks just kind of sat there in stunned silence as the credits began to roll, then began looking at each other with expressions that said, "Is that it?"
Bridesmaids had funny parts, but it was hyped up as the Hangover for chicks and it was not. 30 mins of laughs for women and men, 1.5 hours of women chick flickiness. I was let down.
I went to go see Super 8, and I have to say it's one of my personal favorites now. It was definitely my kind of movie, being the perfect mix of suspense, action, humor, campiness, and creepiness. I love those kinds of movies! You should all go see it. Also it gets a good amount of bonus points for containing the song "Don't bring me down" by Electric Light Orchestra
