Sorry If your too GROWN up but tbh you cant go wrong with pixar

I thought Cars was alright, but not great. I don't understand why so many people were so crazy about it. Oh, and I don't think there's anyone here who think they're too "grown up" for cartoons, unless they're between the ages of 15-18 and just trying to seem "cool."

@grenworthshero Too Right! I thought cars was one of the weaker ones but then I wasn't that crazy about up either. I do however hope it will live up to high expectation. Even Up and Cars are Impressive films they're just weak by Pixar's standard.

I'm 16 but I don't think anything is to grown up for me to watch , if there are people out there that think that I feel for them.

I agree with you, man. Cars is by far Pixar's worst. Which is actually amazing because it's still a good movie, proves how great Pixar really is. XD Cars just lacked the meaning of their other movies, IMO. And Cars 2 looks like a cash in to me. I'm hoping that's not the case, but this is the first time I've ever doubted Pixar...

I'm really looking forward to DreamWorks Animation's upcoming films Turbo, Puss in Boots, Kung Fu Panda 2 Kaboom of Doom and How To Train Your Dragon 2 along with the How To Train Your Dragon television series.

I'm very excited for How to Train your Dragon 2 and the tv series as well. But I hope Hiccup and his girlfriend are older in the next movie. I also hope that they will not have him so weak but stronger in the upcoming movie and tv series.

For Dr. Faustus, check out "Angel Heart" starring Mickey Rourke and Bob De Niro. It's a film from 1987 which got a lot of shock publicity at the time for featuring naked Lisa Bonet (then of The Cosby Show), including an intensely graphic sex scene. But the story itself has a cool take on the Faustian-bargain premise. Great imagery and cinematography — it's directed by Alan Parker, who also did the "Pink Floyd: The Wall" film. One of my personal favorite films, and a very rare occasion of the movie being in many ways better than the novel it was orginally based on (Falling Angel by William Hjortsberg).

The Wall is possibly the best piece of cinematography I have ever seen.
That is all.

Strangely, it was required viewing at a Catholic youth retreat I went to when I was a teenager.

Well, I really liked Thor, it's one epic ride. I hope they do a second one.
Thor is by far the BEST Marvel film I've seen since Spider Man 2 and Fantastic Four 4 Rise of the Silver Surfer.

DUH. Fantastic Four RoTSS kinda sucked. Thor does look beast though. Both Iron Man movies bored me. Not enough action to keep you coming.

Every other movie I've ever seen is better than Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Yes, I've seen Alvin and the Chipmunks.

To be fair, Alvin and the Chipmunks did have Jason Lee, who wields the contrarian twin powers of awesomeness and scientology.

But yeah, FF2 pretty much sucked, but had its moments of fun. And Jessica Alba-ness.

Man, there isn't even anything good in theatres right now. The only one I really want to see is Fast Five, and I can probably wait until that one hits Netflix.

So I watched the new Nightmare on Elm Street the other night, right? ... this certainly wasn't a good one.

Well i certainly can´t speak for that new movie. (I thought that was just a remake so i wasn´t really interested in it until now.)
But since the original Nightmare On Elm Street was one of the first horror movies i watched as a child i thought i´d give my two cents in about the series. (I must have been about eight years old then. The other hard movies i can remember being Hellraiser skinless bodies for the win and Hitman with the almighty Chuck Norris.)

From recent memory the original movie was more in line with movies like Halloween. It´s a tiny bit more on the fantasy side though since Freddy can take whatever form he likes in dreams. Maybe that one would be a better introduction on where the series started off.
After the quite dreadful second movie the series went into a bit more of a guilty pleasured popcorn movie direction for me. It became more of a Freddy show. The coolest thing about him have become his cynical and sinister one-liners then. The victims were only there for being killed, they weren´t important at all.
That changed a bit in the fifth flick because the "story" needed it.
The sixth movie wasn`t very good and the seventh went a bit more into a mixture of the first and Shining.
I´ve only watched the first Freddy vs. Jason flick and didn´t really like it. Aside from the original i remember the fifth best and most fondly. So my favourites would be 5>1>3>4>7>6>2.

Just had to get this out now and i hope you guys at least give the original and the fifth movie a chance since i think there´s some great fun to be had with the series.
