I think that's likely. It'll happen a day or two before the event and should give us at least one surprise about what's gonna be there. But definitely none of that "here's my wish list, I mean leak, of the games from my friend's best friend's uncle at Nintendo who watched the video"

Why is everyone so negative about the sports part of EA's conference? MVP Baseball, a franchise that's been dead for 10 years could come back!

Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F

I love this generator list. I got The Legend of Zelda: The Snowman of Cat, Lonely Bacon, The Legend of Zelda: Button of Peanut, Crocodile Swan, Forehead Flavor, The Legend of Zelda: Still Toilet and Metroid: Pigeon Mission. Lol

Most of the people complaining don't like sports to begin with and can't figure out why EA would put a third of their catalog into their own damn conference. This year's EA conference should be great unlike last year and have a ton of stuff to show off. Mass Effect and Star Wars are enough to get me excited either way.

I had heard some mumors on the twitter sphere that this was going to be a big year for Sci-fi/Cyber Punk RPGs which could be cool.

Even though it would never happen... I would love for Nintendo to announce a deal with DC to make a Raven game. Raven is one of my favorite comic book characters and I would love for her to get her own game.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

...That's a new one. I'm not insulting your wishes, if that's what you're thinking. That just isn't something I've heard someone wanting before.

There is nothing here...except for the stuff I just typed...

Raven? As in Raven from Teen Titans? I think she has interesting powers, but I don't think a game based on her would be terribly different from the other gritty action games on the market.

It seems more likely that Next Level is working on a new IP. This new game has story, online, and no collectibles. That rules out pretty much every existing IP that they could possibly be doing (Mario Strikers, Luigi's Mansion, Punch Out, Duck Hunt, Metroid).

Still want to see Duck Hunt happen from someone though (except for Retro, who I'd rather see work on Metroid).

There's zero confirmation on "no collectibles"; that guy could simply not be in charge of them for this game.

Good point, but the story emphasis still narrows things down a bit. There's not a lot of Nintendo games they could be making that would have a good story. They could be making Metroid, but it's more likely that Retro is. Either way, I don't think either of them are working on Duck Hunt, both of them seem to want to work on something bigger. Retro is making an entirely new engine for their next game, which means it's going to be graphically impressive, and Next Level seems to be working on something with a deeper story.

I haven't seen any dialogue regarding this, but I would think that people are skeptical after their conference last year. They booked 2 hours of press time, then talked vaguely about games that are so early in development that they didn't even have any footage for most of them, no surprises, then the last hour of their scheduled time was a beta for a Battlefield 4 mod. It was easily the worst conference at E3 last year.

So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

It's been six months since the year began and sega hasn't announced another sonic game. This looks like the best time for that. Also, if Sony is gonna treat Knack like a mascott, where's Knack 2?

You mean besides the new Sonic & Mario game.

We probably won't see another Sonic game till next year at best. They seem to be reeling off of Boom being a bomb, and wants to give Sonic Team a full dev cycle.

Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is getting its reveal at the Microsoft conference.

It makes sense, not only does it add to the overall hype of what's happening Tuesday, and leaves more room for showing off new titles. One trend that's been happening the last few years i'm hoping and we will probably see more of is the spacing out games throughout the year. I'm hoping it starts to extend more toward summer instead of the Feb/May/November rut we seem to be in for major games.

Nice to see Smash getting a presentation before the Digital Event. It leaves room for other new things during the Digital Event. Smash is a guaranteed hype machine, so having the presentation as the first thing of E3 is a great way to start the event off and drum up hype for both Nintendo and E3 in general.

I'm excited. That E3 generator confirmed The Legend of Zelda: The Melodic Tuba HD for the Nintendo 3DS. I've always wondered when The Melodic Tuba, a series classic, would get the remake it deserved.

Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)

This. They've already confirmed that they won't be at E3, so that confirms no new Sonic. Which is for the best really, because they should focus on making the 25th anniversary game next year the best it can possibly be, this next game will make or break them.
