The closest Best Buy to me is further away than E3 will be, good thing I am just going to E3 instead

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Oh my God...for the first time that they've been doing this, it's actually close to where I live! And it should only take me 15-20 minutes to get there!

There is nothing here...except for the stuff I just typed...

Not quite Nintendo related but there's a rumor of next Banjo Kazooie game showing at this year's E3.

Battletoads is also very likely to get an announcement this year with so many hints dropped this year. I don't know about Banjo Kazooie though.

Admittedly I don't have an Xbone and will most likely never get one, but still...that would be awesome.

Also while I'm very excited for FE:if would it kill them to do a non crossover FE on WiiU? Heck I'll take a remake (not port) of awakening.

I would love somebody...ANYBODY to announce a 2d fighter on wiiu.

I'd much rather see a port of Binding Blade or any pre-FE7 Fire Emblem game to be honest than a new game specifically for Wii U. The "My Castle" trailer in If went a bit too far with the dating simulator aspect.

A port/remake of Binding Blade would be nice. It'd also make sense, with...

Roy possibly getting into Smash 4.

Don't really like emulating the game either. I did that with Mother 3 but only because that was a special case. Didn't get very far in the Binding Blade.

Bethesda announced Fallout 4 today. The other companies are probably thankful that they did that, as Fallout 4 would have drowned out everything else at E3 had they saved the reveal for then.

Everything but Half-Life 3.

The big question there is who could make the games? I doubt Rare has the skill for either at this point, so it's a matter of which dev studio Microsoft is going to put in charge of making them. If it's the same one then we probably won't see one of them for a while, but if it's separate studios then we could possibly see both.

I don't know. I think there are plenty of people that don't really care about it. I mean the trailer looks good but it isn't a big deal for me. Doom 4 and Star Fox are the biggest deals for me at E3 so far.

I have a Best Buy doing it like 5 minutes away, but I don't think Mario Maker is worth the trip/lines

I doubt anything other than FE6 has a chance of a remake that leaves Japan. I threw out awakening as it is recent and is more mainstream (and thus more financially viable) but I personally am not picky. I just want a console release.

I literally have no idea what Fallout is, so I agree it's probably not that big a deal that other heavy hitters would feel threatened. People on online communities tend to hyperbole the importance of the stuff they play. All in all, E3 will still be a great show, no matter these early announcements.

Agreed. Even though TES is their flagship they are THE open world devs. I'll admit if they came out with a sequel to Skyrim I would have even ignored Nintendo's announcements.

Offspring

Does anyone think Nintendo would benefit by dropping a pre-E3 bomb like Bethesda did? I know it would get me excited as my hype has pretty much died since Zelda U got delayed and not liking what I saw from the Persona knockoff that is supposedly a crossover between Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem.

If they were going to do that, they would've in the Mini Direct.

Honestly, I think Bethesda made a mistake. Bethesda should have kept Fallout 4 locked up until the end of the presentation and surprised everyone.

Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F

I agree with the above. The more stuff saved for the actual event, the better.

every pre E3 announcement lessens the impact of the event.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

Or they could kill 3 birds with one stone and announce Excite Boat. The physics of Waverace, the speed and dynamic courses of the Excite series and some down river slalom courses with jumps for stunts. What a game that would be!
