Okay, I'm bored, and the Internet is abound with completely obvious predictions, time for something more bold.
-Next Level's new game is either a player licensed sports game, or a sci-fi shooter.
-Camelot Softworks is announced to be making either a new Mario Super Sluggers for Wii U or a Golden Sun for 3DS
-Fatal Frame only gets screen time during Treehouse live.
-Price Cuts for 3DS and Wii U.
-Retro doesn't show a game
-A new 3DS port of Metroid Prime is announced.
-3DS gets a big winter game. Possible ideas: F-Zero 3DX, Cap Falcon action game, a 3D platformer featuring either new characters or a retro IP.
-Localized Mother 3 on Wii U VC.
-Nintendo announces either 2nd Gamepad support or a new hardware peripheral. Particularly, a 3rd Gen Wii Remote.
-Paper Mario Wii U announced.
-Very short Zelda tease.
Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F

While NLG did make a NHL game before they made Mario Strikers, I can't see Nintendo paying to use a license when they could just make it another Mario sports game (which we have yet seen on Wii U outside of the Mario & Sonic games anyhow).
-Price Cuts for 3DS and Wii U.
Both systems getting price cuts at the same time? I have my doubts.
-Nintendo announces either 2nd Gamepad support or a new hardware peripheral. Particularly, a 3rd Gen Wii Remote.
I don't see the use in announcing a new Wiimote unless there's a killer app to bundle it with, and what would it actually bring to the table? Besides it would distract from Nintendo's intent to focus more on the GamePad.

Anything Zelda U at this point would be a blessing.

While I don't think it's all that likely (hence the predictions being "bold"), I think the license would be the better way to go. Nintendo already has the Mario sport game market on the Wii U with games like Mario Party and Mario Kart. What they don't have is sports games where people can play as their favorite teams and players. They have gotten player/sport licenses before with the Left Field's NBA Courtside series

Eh, both are due for an official price cut though. The regular 3DS and regular XL have been gradually slipping in costs at retailers, especially since the N3DS came out. It would be good for Nintendo for officially lower it. The Wii U is just due for a price cut given the point in it's life.

Why not a new Wii Sports game? Gyroscope in the nunchuck, better filtering, modern haptic feedback, and possible redesign of the controller layout. Maybe they could improve the IR sensor bar and the Wii Remote algorithm so that instead of just tracking angle, it tracks position in space. I think it's pretty clear that Nintendo doesn't have many revolutionary ideas for the Gamepad. I think when developing the Wii U, they got a little bit ahead of themselves and just expected to come up with ideas for the Gamepad. That's not to say it should go away, but I don't think it could hurt to introduce a new Wii Remote to allow for greater innovation. That said, it would run into the peripheral problem, so it might just be better to save for the next home console.
There is an obscure rumor, so take it with an ocean full of salt. But the rumor has been reposted on a couple of sites. The rumor states we will see from Nintendo a Metroid, Mario Sunshine 2, and Star Fox with robust online multiplayer all shown for Wii U. The rumor also states they WILL show a Zelda trailer to keep hype up. Again, the ocean of salt.

@iKhan Returning to waggle controls is a step backward. I'd much rather have a continued Gamepad/Pro controller focus.
The core idea of the pro controller came out in the mid 90s with the DS1 and has barely changed since. The Gamepad has barely seen any unique usage in single player games in the Wii U's 2.5 years of life. The Wii Remote has seen 2 iterations in less than 10 years and is still being used for applications for which it is either necessary or ideal. The second iteration brought with it new gameplay opportunities itself.
I'd hardly call that a step backwards. By iterating the Wii Remote, Nintendo would be moving forward from their most recent successful controller design. If anything the Gamepad was a step backwards.
I, too, would prefer to see them evolve their more traditional control methods. Analog triggers and a headset port into the pro controller would be ideal. Other than that, it's pretty perfect in every way. If I had my way, they would drop the wii remote and gamecube remote indefinitely. Mudding up your current hardware with a whole bunch of different controllers where some are supported and others aren't just seems annoying.

I'm all for sticking with one main control option, but why go backwards? Traditional controllers with analog triggers and a headset port are years old. Most of the ideas of traditional there are decades old.
The GC controller saw one iteration, and the Wii Remote only has seen two. I can understand letting the GC controller go (reluctantly), but the Wii Remote is still an active controller for the Wii U, and Nintendo doesn't really show signs of letting it go. Why not continue building on that?
There isn't much evolution you can do with traditional control methods. That's why they are called traditional, they are a refined design from the past that works, but it works relatively well for a most people.
Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F
Nintendo needs something like the Grifta that can support multiple control setups (http://www.playgrifta.com/) so they can incorporate their ideas into one controller. After that, I think they should let up on the controller gimmicks. there's not much else they can do to innovate control schemes unless they start dabbling in VR, which is likely to be a separate pillar from dedicated consoles.
Where are some more GameCube remakes for Wii U??? Wind Waker HD shouldn't be the only one.
Mario Sunshine? MK: DD? SSBM? F Zero GX? Chibi-Robo? Starfox? PIKMIN 1+2? Kirby Air Ride? Donkey Konga?
SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!!!
Mario Kart and Smash would rather remake particular stages than the entire games. F-Zero, Chibi-Robo, and Kirby Air Ride don't have a lot of mainstream appeal. Donkey Konga was a forgettable gimmick. There, I just narrowed it down for you.
Really none of the other GC games are ideal candidates (Sunshine's probably the most likely on this list, and even then the lack of pressure sensitive triggers decreases the likelihood a bit), so I can see why we haven't gotten a lot of them.
I'm sure this is probably old news (I haven't been following the MS or Sony news feeds), but they just aired a CGI trailer of Rise of the Tomb Raider during Adult Swim, with the message to watch the Xbox E3 event for the game's first footage.

Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

I'm also hoping for some GameCube remakes, SSX, WAVERACE, Advanced Wars, ETERNAL DARKNESS, Fzero, even Metroid Prime HD with metroid prime hunters multiplayer would be great.
AND DANG IT, I want the Resident Evil remakes for Wii U too!!!

Some GameCube remakes would be great and help the library. I wish we had 2 this year and 3 for 2016.
Still hoping for a return of the arcade sports franchises: Wave Race, 1080 and Excite..something. Wave race would look amazing on the Wiiu...Nintendo has always been very good with animating water.
Also while I'm very excited for FE:if would it kill them to do a non crossover FE on WiiU? Heck I'll take a remake (not port) of awakening.
I would love somebody...ANYBODY to announce a 2d fighter on wiiu.

I'd much rather see a port of Binding Blade or any pre-FE7 Fire Emblem game to be honest than a new game specifically for Wii U. The "My Castle" trailer in If went a bit too far with the dating simulator aspect.
