NOW ABOUT THIS SHENMUE FIASCO... This is purely freaking bizarre! I just have to agree with the people who are saying that if Microsoft or Nintendo had talked about a freaking Kickstarter for Shenmue 3 and begged fans to pay some money at their conference... they would be getting slammed and slapped! But Sony does it and everything is just dandy?! If Microsoft or Nintendo had done that... you would be so many angry articles talking about how pathetic they are for even showing that!
The double standards!!! Now don't get me wrong! I really liked Sony's conference! It was hype and fun!
I mean, it's not like Sony funded half the gaming industry.
Can't blame Sony for crowd funding the Shenmue game. It's not exactly a series that sells millions and with a huge fandom. So they may as well see if people really want it.

...And its Free to play. :/ On the plus side, it's an international version of KH X (the mmo).
Knowing SE wants to make KH an annual thing, this probably what they're gonna talk about since 3 is a looooong ways off.
We already knew this but just to post it again to make it even more clear what they're saying will and won't be in it. This was from the official Japanese Nintendo twitter account (and translated obviously) from a couple of hours ago:
"NX hardware will not be discussed further until next year, nor will QOL or smart device-related announcements be made at E3. The Nintendo Digital Event will cover Wii U and 3DS software through early next year. Iwata will be watching along from Japan."

Sony definitely won E3 in general. Nothing will be able to top LG and FF7. Although personally, Nintendo is my last hope for anything interesting. I want the Rare Replay and FF7 looks great, but one is a compilation of old games and the other probably won't be out for 3 years. Also, it says Nomura is in the game. Can we expect FF7 to further delay KH3 the same way that him being on FF15's team has delayed it?
Praying for some interesting stuff from Nintendo. Hopefully not anymore 2D platformers.

I'm actually gonna jump on the "do a video live reaction of the direct" bandwagon so I won't have a chance to join everyone here in the insanity of it all. Though I won't have a facecam where I pretend Mario Party 3D 2 or some **** is the biggest game announcement ever, so it'll be much better than most of those at least!
Nintendo, how to win E3. Announce a Wii U OS update that goes live today that adds Party Chat across all games, similar to the Xbox 360 party chat. Then drop the mic and let the video run for 40 minutes, during the last 10 minutes Reggie comes back on stage and just says a game's title followed by its release date. That is how you win lol

Am I the only one that doesn't really get the hype for the Last Guardian? Aside from it being a development hell game that is finally seeing the light of day, it doesn't look all that special. Given, it has a nice art direction (though oddly the boy clashes with it), but the gamplay looked pretty standard, not to mention the constant yelling by the boy got on my nerves.
Will the actual Star fox game run at 25 frames per second like the footage they are showing? The game design and world itself looks a little simple too. Hope this is an early build!
