Dude, I've seen Digimon The Movie, like, 5 times at least. It was one of my favorite movies growing up. I'm glad they made an even better version that's gotten the attention it deserves.

I haven't seen Voices of a Distant Star, but I've heard of it, and I really want to see it. It looks really cool, and I might pick it up along with The Place Promised in Our Early Days and Summer Wars once I have some money.
Ah, that's great! You're guaranteed to fall in love with Summer Wars then! And I was obsessed with the Digimon movie when I was a kid, I saw it in the theater enough times to get all the cards. XD
I hope I do too! Lots of people I know seem to like the series, hopefully the second season will change my opinion on it.

Yup, I'm looking forward to all those movies. Though I'll have to get Voices of a Distant Star used since I think it's out of print. I hate getting used DVDs. Never know if they're gonna work or not.
I'm currently rewatching Welcome to the NHK (a favorite of mine which I finally bought for a great price, this is my 3rd time watching it) and watching Baccano! for the first time. I'll write some impressions when I finsih them, I'm about 3/4 through both right now.

^ I love that show. I have social anxiety (well, recovering from it now) and that show was a huge help to me. It captured my feelings pretty well in a lot of areas and made me not want to end up like Sato.

Not really. The final episode in particular was like a therapy session, and it really helped once I understood it.

@Mickeymac At least these 3-Disc Seasons are giving my shelf not as much clutter. But I'm still dissapointed: It would take me 7 hours-ish to completely watch one of the 5-disc seasons, but now I'm done in like 3 hours.
I was sorely disappointed by the second season of Darker Than Black. Decided to start up Fairy Tail. Wish it was a tad more serious, but seems alright so far.

Ah, actually Popyman I've not been watching Bob's Burgers. I got disgusted after they kept making cruel jokes about elderly people and the inhumane slaying of animals by the meat production industry. Fox Animation Domination is simply the devils sand box with all their crappy and disgusting programs. Even the Simpsons has fallen from grace. Oh, and the "my crotch is itching" joke is plain godless, immoral and disrespectful in that stupid Bob's Burgers. I'll never forgive Fox for that.
Actually, the best episode of Adventure Time Season One is "Echiridion" which reminded me of Discworld. There are some good episode of Adventure Time now while others are just plain scatterbrain. Adventure Time, Marvelous Misadventures of Flap Jack, Looney Toones and Chowder are my favorite "funny toons" that hearken back to the good ole days on Cartoon Network although I prefer more serious things like Young Justice and Star Wars The Clone Wars.
My only hope and prayer for Adventure Time and Chowder is that those two shows will retain the magical innocence, childlike wonder and colorful RPG style nature that has made them so compelling. Oh and in the case of Adventure Time ditch some of the stupid madness and stop making subtle references to female body parts.
Does anyone think that Adventure Time and Chowder might last as long as Spongebob Squarepants and Dora The Explorer has lasted? I mean they already assassinated and buried "FlapJack" much to my dismay.

Oh, now that is so painful. I can't believe it. First Misadventures of Flap Jack gets cancelled, then Chowder and now what is left?
Next they'll be axing Young Justice and Adventure Time. Is there anyway to contact Cartoon Network or someone at the company? Is there any way? I've got to e-mail someone at the company. I can't stand this. If they cancel Young Justice and Adventure Time I'll NEVER watch Cartoon Network again or at lest not for a long time at lest. I'm still hurt that they cancelled and shutdown Toonami.

I think it was more of a mutual decision between the creators and the network. Greenblat is on Fish Hooks now, and the Flapjack guy went straight back to work for Cartoon Network with Regular Show. I don't think either of them are particularly upset. I know one of them said they hope to do a final episode sometime down the line like what happened with The Powerpuff Girls.
Young Justice is an action show, those always seem to do well for Cartoon Network and they haven't cancelled any before (that I'm aware of). Adventure Time is their new darling and the creator isn't about to stop making them. If it DOES get cancelled, he'll make a video game of the series (he's already tossing ideas around about it).

Fish Hooks is pretty good, it's the best animated show Disney has had in a long time...but that isn't saying much. It feels a lot like Chowder at times, the biggest example I can think of right now is the Donkey Kong joke in one of the episodes.
Was that cancelled? I'm pretty sure it just ended...But I mean, it got a good long run. Sorry you don't like it, but it's what the Flapjack dude is making now...I do agree that it doesn't belong on Cartoon Network. IMO, it's like Homestar Runner. It hits a niche demographic that just doesn't fit on TV. It should be a web show.
And that is EXTREMELY good news for the possibility of the Adventure Time game coming true!

If there is to be an Adventure Time show I sure hope it'll be on the 3DS, Sony NGP, iPod Touch and iPad. Perhaps, they might even make an Adventure Time comic book.
