They had part 3 of Brotherhood (eps 27 - 39) in HMV today for a decent, so I grabbed a copy. Will probably watch it this weekend <3
Also, watched the first six episodes of Eden of the East. This... this could be my new favourite series. I just wish it was more than eleven episodes. I absolutely adore the chemistry and humanity between the characters, they're so lovable and often hilarious. I suppose that's probably what I enjoy most in anime, and Eden of the East is packed with it. I'm told the plot owes lot to The Bourne Identity (I haven't watched it, personally), so if you like that film then you really should check this out. Akira's introduction is still the most WTF scene ever, omfg
On the topic of Eden of The East, I found the show to be good but a bit problematic. I understand that the story hasn't ended, but some things come out of absolutely nowhere, and that aspect of the show really sticks out like a sore thumb in the last few episodes.

Watching Outlaw Star now. I have started a lot of animes without finishing them...
Outlaw Star was the bomb back in the day. Let me know if it holds up. Also I start a lot of anime without finishing them, too. I just right them down and hope I get back to them.
It was quite good! It has its short-comings, but none due to being from '98 or so. Sometimes I felt the script was a little stiff, but it was a fun show. Some characters were a little two dimensional (har har). It also really felt like it should have had another season.
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
Also, recommendations...I dunno, what kind of anime do you like? I dunno where to start here.
I'll recommend Gundam and Macross if you like Mecha, Mazinkaiser and Gurren Lagann if you like Super Robots, NANA if you like Slice of life, Full Metal Alchemist if you like a show with a good story, Gintama, One Piece and Kino's Journey if you like Action/Adventure/Shonen, I dunno, I guess Black Butler if you like Seinen, Card Capter Sakura if you like Magical Girl anime, Madoka Magica if you hate magical girl anime. Also, Fractale if you wanna watch something that's still on-going.
Then there's also Now and Then, Here and there, Baccano!, Berserk, Black Blood Brothers and Darker than Black, which I'd like to recommend, but I can't because I just started them. I'll add more a bit later...
Man, I've been thinking of starting an anime. Any recommendations on what to watch? [youtube:jsmcDLDw9iw]
I would also recommend Eureka 7 for plenty of humour, interesting story and character, and big robots as well. Fixed!

Well I've been watching the anime for Wakfu and it's quite refreshing and humorous. They've even gone so far as to parody football with Boufbowl (Superbowl).
I think I should cut down on the themed marathons.@_@ I'm pretty burnt out from the last one I did (which should be over by tonight), yet I just checked my calender, and I have another one planned this week! In fact, I have 4 more planned all together. While they help me cut down on my huge to-watch list, I really need to cut back, it's really just too much for me. Especially this last one - 10 anime OVAs less than a month! I barely even remember half of them...
Japanese anime (aren't they all?) with a good story, its humurous and it has quite a sad/happy ending, to me anyway... it does have slight nudity, but its mainly of just the chest, and even then, its quite covered and you don't really think about since a few seconds after you see the dudes response and is hilarious!
The only way to explain the plot is if you watch it, because telling it can confuse people. Anyways:
A princess, Lala, from the planet Deviluke is evading capture and teleports to Earth. This boy, Riko, is struggling to ask this girl out at his school, to make matters worse he accidentally (the way he does it is rather humorous, and I'll leave it to the viewer to see how he does it) asks her, Lala, to marry him, destroying any hope of him getting together with the girl of his dreams, she accepts and now the story begins...
Unfortunately this one only has 28 episodes, with 5-6 extra episodes. The 28 episode series is the main story, the 5-6 episodes I think were just to wrap it up.
I use animefreak.tv by the way. It has a whole collection of anime shows, I know some others, but I currently forget what they're called lol.
Nope, some anime is Korean, often known as Manhwa (think that's what it's called at least). I watched one before, though I forget what it was called. I thought it was Pandora Hearts, but no. I remember that in that case the artstyle bothered me, since it wasn't quite anime, but it was close.
Also, I occasionally watch anime from that site, too. However, that makes it no less illegal.
EDIT: Just looked it up, To Love Ru is available legally via DVD or The Anime Network.
I actually just got reignites into anime recently. I own Love Hina (which I love), and am planning on picking up Trigun. As for what I'm watching now, I can't stop watching Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo
FF6: Release year- 1994 Kefka's birthday - November 9th So.... my life is practically mirroring Kefka? Cool.
Watched the whole Avatar series there too though... and anime is thoroughly enjoyable while eating some popcorn, I find.
I really want to start a new series to watch, but I'm not quite sure what to go with at the moment... too many choices to pick from...
EDIT: So To Love Ru is available illegally via Animefreak.tv? :/
Any website that lets any user watch any anime, free of any kind of charge, is almost certainly doing so illegally, yes. Do the industry a favour and buy the DVDs
I mostly likely won't come back to this topic but I like fighting and adventure animes. Some of my favorites are Pokemon,Digimon, Yugioh, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, MAR, Duel Masters, Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Kekkaishi, Avatar, Beyblade, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Fairy Tail, Rave Master, The Boondocks, and Zatch Bell. I hope I didn't forget any. If anyone wants to reply or has a good site to find anime contact me on youtube, Sirmel11.
Souls are for the weak. I flow with the darkness on the pathway of depression.

Trigun is very good, I hope you like it. I've also heard good things about Gankutsuou.
Yeah, they don't have the licenses for any of those shows, they're just user uploaded videos. It's essentially Piracy. Anime Network does have the license to show To Loveru, along with most of Sentai Filmworks' (who is the North American Distributor) works. Only problem is that The Anime Network is an On Demand network and a subscription Website. Legal things usually aren't free without heavy advertising. I had to learn that the hard way.
