I gotta start watching K-On again, I got up to episode two. (For the record, I mostly watch comedies and slice-of-life anime)

In that case, have you seen Full-Metal Panic Fumoffu? Or Excel Saga? I really liked those ones.

Does that mean the anime was awful? I really wish I could find the anime and movies somewhere. I read a little of the Street Fighter manga at Books A Million and I enjoyed it. I'd love to be able to give the anime a shot.

It's a simple, predictable show. I watched some as a kid. It's not "bad", but it's nothing special. I didn't find it as entertaining as Darkstalkers or Power Stone, but that's still not saying much. Then again, I enjoyed the Fatal Fury anime, and the Street Fighter Movies are decent.

I just recently finished Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, and I must say that it's yet another major hit. Great art and animation, more great music, and style to spare, with a wobderful cast of endearing characters that grew on me instantly. The story was pretty interesting, too, though poorly paced. It felt like it should've been twice as long as it was to build up more mystery and suspense. That's my only gripe with the series, though. Otherwise, it's pretty great. The ending was one of my faves, with plenty of closure for all the remaining characters, while still having enough room for a possible sequel.

Oh, and I like how I kinda got that symbolism and **** in this show. Even if it was kinda obvious and explained more than half the time, it still made me feel smart for some reason.

Yeah, it's a cool show, ain't it? It was my #10 until Gurren Lagann topped it, but it's definitely worth a mention at least.

Yeah, FMA is awesomesauce. I loved every bit of it, and I plan to rewatch it from start to finish soon. I'll probably watch Brotherhood once that's finished, too. Oh, and yeah Roy kicks loads of ***.

Wow, I didn't know there was so much anime available. I just finished watching a WEIRD anime over on CrunchyRoll called Magician's Academy. Man, it's the strangest and most humorous thing online, almost like Disgaea.

I was channel surfing last night, and I landed on Sy fi, and there was this really weird, super violent show called Requiem or the Darkness _{or was it Fallen?} It was weird, it was drawn with anime stylings, but the animation was sort of lacking.

^ Yeah I've seen that show before! Loved the art but everything else was sort of meh in the episode I saw.

So, Gaara is captured by Deidara eh? Man, the Shippuden is getting off to a great start.

What a coincidence, I linked that to the resident troll of the anime forum I frequent not long ago because his copy of google was broken. Watched some of it myself, you're right, it is pretty weird...though I've seen weirder. Eiken, Paranoia, Kaiba, oh my! So many weird animes out there...so little time...

I saw that too, and Popyman summed up my thoughts on it. It's odd, but not very good.

WOW, I recently started watching some of One Piece, and I must say I take back every negative thing I said about that show! The later episodes are truly amazing, and the characters are ecclectic, well-developed, and interesting. I like the plots and sub-plots they have as they go. It really is a good show. Too bad there's just too much for me to get caught up, but I'll just follow it as the new episodes show up and I'll read the wikis for the characters.

BTW, my '90s Marathon started:

So far I recently finished FLCL. I had previously watched it on Adult Swim, but I didn'y follow it closely until the end, I think, since that's te only part I recognized. Anyways, all in all, I'd say it was pretty good. The art, music, and voice acting were great, and while I don't usually go for Japanese comedies, this one was enjoyable and not overbearing. My only complaint really is that I found the story hard to follow. It didn't really hinder my enjoyment of it, but I honestly could not resummerize the story for you.

Today I watched the first episode of Moribito and I was impressed! I also watched Shugo Chara which is the first time I a male have ever watched a Shojo Beat anime and I was surprised to find that I really liked it. Right now I'm watching Tegami Bachi and it's very good.

Heheh, your first one? Man that brings me back to my days of Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, and Tokyo Mew Mew. Man, I haven't watched a Magical Girl show since...oh wait, I watched Magical Girl Madoka Magica not long ago. What Wicked show that was. But still pretty good. Maybe someday I'll be convinced to watch Magic Knight Rayearth.

I also watched Sugar Sugar Rune and that was interesting as well. Have you watched Heroman and Tegami Bachi?
