Isn't there a Street Fighter anime?

I'm watching Level E (think: Men In Black meets District 9) right now, it's been real good so far. And found some Tatami Galaxy DVD extras, really looking forward to those.

Other than I've been watching Bakuman, Hourou Musokou and Fractale weekly

I should really get on Level E. And I just came here to talk about Fractale! I'm glad they brought back the Simulcast after all that fuss. I'm really enjoying it so far. It's a very charming show. You have any thoughts on it?

Yes, plus 2 animated movies and a western cartoon.

There's a Level E anime?? Isn't that the Hunter X Hunter dude's first work? I GOTTA WATCH IT.

But right now I'm addicted to Ergo Proxy. It's cool and Matrix-ish.

Could you provide a link for the anime and the western cartoon. I haven't been able to locate them. T_T

Definitely charming, liking the depth and philosophical thoughts behind it (our individual freedom is slowly leading to families not spending any time together at all), but it's really too early to tell whether it'll be a masterpiece or not. I do like the anime concept art a lot more than the actual visuals though =/

(no idea how to multiquote, so...)
@popyman: Ergo Proxy is amazing, one of the few anime boxsets I've considered worth buying. Manglobe is god. Or was.

Thanks for those links Mickeymac; but is there not a place to watch it online?

Youtube probably. No official sources, though. Capcom kinda wants people to forget those shows ever existed. And I can't blame them.

Recently finished Cowboy Bebop. I wish I was more eloquent with my words so I could write a proper review. It's such an amazing show. I loved everything about it! The drama, the suspense, the humor, and the tragedies. Every facet came off as being very well done - The animation and artstyle were fantastic, the music was some of the best I'd heard in an anime and really fit the mood; and the stories were memorable, well-paced, and thrilling. Not to mention the characters, dialogue, and english voice acting, all of which were superb.

In fact, it's so good, It's hard for me to pick out little bits and pieces that I liked the most. I guess that best part of it was how ecclectic it was. They did a good job of mixing things up with every episode, I never new what to expect.

Overall, though, it was just a well-made masterpiece. There was nothing about it that I disliked, and it's easily one of the best anime I've ever seen.

I've got a Cowboy Bebop poster on my room door and everytime I see it I wanna rewatch the show. Strangely enough I haven't. Yet.

Up there with Ergo Proxy, Samurai Champloo, FLCL, Mushi-Shi, Beck, Death Note, etc when it comes to best anime I've seen though

@tealover: I really like Ergo Proxy! I'm on episode 14. Real (spelling?) is getting on my nerves though...she's such a spoiled brat. >_<

She'll grow on you towards the end. She's definitely unique!

Watched the Cowboy Bebop movie a few weeks ago, and I can honestly say it was pretty disappointing. I expected better, considering all of the hype and love, but all I got was... average. Maybe the series is better, who knows? But the movie on the other hand...

I haven't seen the movie, but I'll take a guess and say that the series is better. Though looking at the trailers, it seems pretty good. I'll certainly enjoy watching it once I get around to it. It doesn't seem like you get the story of Bebop the way you do in the series, though.

She has gotten better! Just for a while there (when she was...out of her element, I guess you could say) I wanted Vincent to push her off a cliff or something. I was very surprised that Pino isn't annoying but really funny and lovable, her and Vince more than make up for anything Real does.

So, i finally finished Baccano! and RahXephon.
Baccano! is amazing. That's it.

RahXephon is a bit slow starting (for me), but once it gets going, it really captures you and is really quite beautiful. Personally, I preferred Eureka 7 (they are similar, in a way), but definitely a good anime.

So... what is this Evangelion I keep hearing about? Good? Mixed?

Deviant_Mugen

I recently popped in my Samurai Champloo DVDs and watched a few episodes to remind myself just why I love it so much (and why Mugen is my favorite anime character ever). I'll have to do the same with my Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star DVDs sometime...
