I just started watching the anime of Tales of symphonia and they cut out or changed a lot of stuff which isn't surprising since they're condensing a 65 hour rpg (thats how long it took me to beat it) into an 8 episode anime. The episodes are 10 minutes longer than most anime though. I would've liked it if they made a full anime out of the game instead.
Not on iTunes I just checked. There isn't much in the anime section unfortunately.

Just watched the first Episode of Elfen Lied, and I must say...that was not what I was expecting at all. Despite its promising synopsis, I doubt I'll continue with it. It's just too gory for me, more gory than I'd ever seen, and I just finished watchig some TV-MA Direct to VHS OVAs, yet I still couldn't handle it. Somebody please tell me it'll stop soon.

I don't think that's happening. Not through legal channels at least, It doesn't appear to have a U.S. vintage, mostly just released in Spanish-speaking countries.

Looking back, the SoltyRei OP shows just how unusual that show is. It has very unusual, original narrative themes for an anime. Still sends shivers up my spine. Love it.

That's what it's called! I saw a bunch of episodes, but then forgot about it. It was apparently by the same guy who did Eureka 7, and it was quite similar. I liked what I saw of it anyhow.
