Cool beans! How many episodes do you have left?

Also, obligatory DELICIOUS YOKO etc.

Ponyo is amazing! If you don't like it, you'll know your inner child has died. =P

My inner child is alive and kicking, then (seriously, I prefer films like Ponyo and Howl's Moving Castle to the grittier stuff like Ghost In the Shell)

Ponyo is nowhere near as good as the older Studio Ghibli stuff like Spirited Away or Howl's Moving Castle though.

Maybe not, still great though

Just wanted to pop in and say that if you guys are looking for a good anime to watch, try Fairy Tail. It's somewhat similar to One Piece in some ways; but it's different, unique, and it's just awesome to watch.

I didn't care much for Spirited Away and I think Ponyo was a little better than Howl's. My favorite Miyazaki's are still Mononoke and Nausicaa.

My Favorite is and always will be Kiki's Delivery Service. Followed by Howl's Moving Castle. I never much cared for Spirited Away, Mononoke, or Nausicaa. Or that one about the Violinist. Totoro was okay. I only saw a little bit of Pocco Rosso. Ponyo doesn't interest me.

I need to watch Kiki's Delivery Service, my library doesn't have it though.

Been watching Darker Than Black, I'm enjoying it as of episode 8. But uh, the tone shifts a little wildly, huh? First 4 eps were all dark and edgy and then it just goes straight comic relief with the incompetant detective and his shortfused assistant. Can't complain though, the comedy is pretty hilarious. Just the switch between them is always pretty... sudden. "HAHAHA EXTREME CAT PHOBIA OH RIGHT IT'S SERIOUS AGAIN NOW SOMEONE GOT KILLED TO DEATH." It's a tad jarring.

@Raylax

Well...at least the humor's funny. The humor in Brotherhood so far has been jarring and awkward/unfunny. I miss the old FMA. At least the humor worked there.

I'm almost done with my OVA marathon, and I'm Swapping out Bubblegum crisis with Area 88, since the dub of BGC is horrific and intolerable, yet that's all I can find via streams, both legitimate or otherwise. Looks like I'll have to pick up the DVD box set...like that'll ever happen.

In the meantime, I've decided to pick Cowboy Bebop back up. I'm glad I did, it's such a great show. Every episode has me itching for the next. Once I'm done with Cowboy Bebop, I'll watch more Gurren Lagann. I'm only 4 episodes in on that, but I intend to get through episode 6 tomorrow.

Which Area 88? I believe there is two of them? (I watched the more recent one, it was fairly decent.)

The Older OVA. If I like that, I'll watch the later series after Tamaki Galaxy.

I'm partially surprised you know of it. Even I just stumbled upon it a while back. When/how did you see the later series? I'm just wondering if this show is less obscure than I think it is.

randomly stumbled on it for cheap on ebay and snagged the whole series for about 10-15 bucks. its happened many times, and such an occasion usually introduces me to a series I would never have thought to watch otherwise.

I'm halfway through Katanagatari. Beautiful but quite shallow; the backstories tend to get a little silly. Typical style over substance then, but I'll take this over any shounen that doesn't have style, it's gorgeous.
