Yeah, I like Westerns too, but there are just a number of other great anime (Trigun, Outlaw Star, Zombiepowder, etc.) of that genre that do it a lot better than what I've read of Gun Blaze West.

Have you ever played Bang! Howdy?

No, but that looks cool!

And I've seen the KH manga at Barnes and Nobles. They aren't very good though...

Yes, it's quite a nice game. if you decide to play Bang! Howdy let me know your username and I'll team up with you. My IGN's are something like TokyoOtaku or OtakuMei. The game is patching now and so I can't actually finalize my IGN just yet but it'll be either of the two.

Thanks for the tip on Shiro Amano's Kingdom Hearts manga at Barnes & Noble. I really enjoyed Kingdom Hearts II Volume 1 and I really want to go back to the beginning and read Kingdom Hearts Volume 1, 2, 3 and 4. I've always admired the art style for Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories and this time I want to lay down the money and purchase these magical manga volumes as I think they are more of collectible item that will become very special on down the road. There is a dearth for great manga in the United States and I think that Viz Media, Shonen Jump and TokyoPop are the best manga providers that make if from the bookstores of America to the bookshelves of North America and I hope that Disney will realize how much we enjoy the Kingdom Hearts manga and finally get off of the bench and create a Kingdom Hearts anime. I'd seriously watch a Kingdom Hearts anime and I'm looking forward to playing the new Kingdom Hearts game on the 3DS and I'd like to see Kingdom Hearts games on the iPod Touch and iPad as well.

Do you guys think that some of the past Kingdom Hearts games like Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories on the GBA will be ported to the 3DSWare Virtual Console?

I hope not, Chain of Memories was by far the worst Kingdom Hearts game. I'd rather have 3D updates of KH and KH2 as standalone games for the 3DS.

Chain of Memories was actually my favorite of the Kingdom Hearts games, followed up by the original. lol

Also, I watched 5 episodes of Darker Than Black then gave up on it. It wasn't too interesting. Now I'm re-watching Code Geass again to make up for the lost time. :3

One of the few fans of that series that I've ever met. What is it you liked about it?

And you guys are tempting me to check out this Darker than Black show y'all be talkin' about.

I liked Chain of Momories, too, and I loved the original KH. CoM got pretty annoying once I got to Twilight Town, though.

I kinda do. I used to watch it periodically when it aired on Adult Swim a couple years back.

The intro was definitely very good and memorable. This is what I remember of it from not having watched it in a few years.

Yeah, that was indeed an awesome intro. I also loved the intro songs, all of which I have favorited on Youtube.

Hey, I also happen to be watching Code Geass! I never finished the second season (apparently at some point I watched the first ten episodes or so) so I am watching it now. I am on episode 20 right now; oh so suspenseful!
Any other anime as great and awesome as Code Geass and, being similar, Death Note?

Woah, what else are you willing to trade/sell/give?

Actually, there were a lot of similarities between Code Geass and Gundam Seed (Destiny). Kind of a mix of Death Note and Gundam Seed. I should check out Gundam 00. And everyone deserves to see Eureka 7

I could see that. Which also helps to explain why both Code Geass and Gundam SEED ended up being two of the best shows I've ever seen (and I watched them both close together). But I seriously recommend Gundam 00. I suppose it's not as similar as I thought, but few shows that I've seen are, and Gundam 00 is a rockin' good show on its own, especially the second half.

And speaking of Code Geass, I loves this song:

ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!!!

That's very kind of you Objection_Blaster, but I'll have to talk with my family about that as I don't have a credit card and I'm not going to get one until after my second or third year at college. If I get a Prepaid VISA card then that might be better for me.

BTW Mickeymac, I watched a few episodes of Full Metal Alchemist and got so far as to understand that they wanted something familiar, something called the "Philosophers Stone" and I liked his brothers medieval knight armor. I also understand that NEXON is going to promote Full Metal Alchemist in both Mabinogi and Maple Story.

I might begin reading the Full Metal Alchemist manga again if I can find the earlier volumes as I like to start from the beginning of a story and not the middle.

@TokyoRed

Read his post again, and you'll see that a credit card isn't required, good sir.

Also glad to hear you watched some of it, but still, I must say you've only hit the tip of the iceberg. The Manga's also a good read, I hope you can find the early volumes, if not I'll look and see if I can find you a source.

@Tokyo: Do you have Netflix? All of the first series of FMA is on Instant Play. As well as a lot of other great anime (Gurren Lagann, Soul Eater, etc.).

I watched the original anime (the one that doesn't follow the manga) all the way through and it totally blew my mind. The story is pretty deep once you get into it, and the music and art are superb. I've been reading the manga ever since, and I'm on vol. 17 currently.
Also picked up the Death Note manga box set awhile ago. It's really excellent, much better than anything else that was ever in Shonen Jump, no doubt.

Thanks Mickeymac.

BTW, Poppyman. I don't have Netflix. I might download it to the Wii later. I usually watch my shows via Hulu.com or youtube.com. I began watching Full Metal Alchemist on youtube and I'm going to check Hulu for episodes. I watch the One Piece on dubbs on Hulu as well.

I just rewatched the first two episodes of Code Geass just to see if it still kicks A. It does. Real good stuff right there.

Hee, another fan!^^ I loved the Anime of FMA, One of my fave ever, and you listed some great points about it, too. There's a lot to it, but it can be subtle as well, and it'd it's just really fun to watch. I'm thinking of rewatching it once I finish off Cowboy Bebop. Don't know when I'll get to Brotherhood, though.

That goes without saying, since it's one of the few deep Mangas I've ever noticed come from there. I'm actually quite surprised. I probably should give it a read someday, but I'm too lazy for that.
