@kkslider - I always wondered about Love Hina. I thought the anime looked plain, but after a bit of reading it seems that most of the praise does indeed go to the manga series, so if I ever think of giving it a shot, I'll read it first.
@DanteSolablood - Ramna 1/2 is not a harem anime. It has too few girls for that.

That's pretty much common knowledge by now (at least I hope it is). I still wish One Piece was more popular over here since it's better than Naruto and kicks Bleach up and down the block, but that may never happen.

well there are subbed versions online. and there people kind enough to translate it in the first place. also the american voices for one piece are somewhat worse than the orignal. i mean come on. Giving Nico Robin a weird western voice or something.

Well she does dress like a Cowgirl. I also miss Sanji's accent...anyways, in case you aren't aware, Funimation has been distributing this series for the past 7 years, with a new dub and everything. I'm watching the new dub right now, it's way better, though once again, I miss the accents, and the lolipops. Gave the show more personality, you know? But whatever, at least the voices don't hurt my ears anymore.

well this game was far in the past. during the Skypiea Era/Arc the voices now are different

Oh 2004 how I miss you. Indy Rock was ruling the world, I still had something resembling a life, Valve and Bungie had just released their FPS masterpieces and anime was still on American television beyond AS.
So what do you guys think of Fairy Tail in comparison to Bleach, Naruto, or One Piece? I prefer it a million times more than Bleach, a significant amount more than Naruto not as much as Bleach though, and more or less on par with One Piece.

It is, though to give Rave Master some credit... the author does basically state in the Manga that he started off by ripping-off Akira Toriyama. And it shows. LOL

i agree with you on that one. "Rave Master isn't worth watching" said my friends. i didn't listen to them and now i regret watching it.

I've been wanting to get into One Piece for a while now, but that episode count is just so intimidating. Assuming that I enjoy it (and from what I've heard about it and the little I've seen, I don't see why I wouldn't), I fear that it'll be the only thing I'll be watching, anime or otherwise, for the next 6 months.
It depends. I'm technically up to episode 74, but I've skipped around as far up as the 500s. Which reminds me: @Retro - How far are you in One Piece?
@RevolverLink - It depends on your episode rate. I watch about 4-9 episodes a day, so it'd take me about 4 months to get through it all. Maybe 3 if I can up the pace a bit.
@DanteSolablood: Both of those are difficult questions to answer, but regarding my preference between the manga and the anime, I'll have to give it to the anime for taking the cuteness and humor of the manga and increasing it exponentially. It's really hard to prefer the manga when the anime has most of its material, only with animation and sound. As for my favorite character, that's quite a tough question, because they all have something likeable about them. If I had to choose, though, I'd say Sakaki. I had the biggest smile on my face whenever she had scenes with Maya and kept thinking "D'AWWWW!"
The dub for AD was horrendous, though. I tend to like dubs a lot, but the one dubbed episode I watched was very jarring after watching the entire thing with the original audio. There were too many things I disliked: the way the characters (mis)pronounced Chiyo's name (with the added '-chan' honorific), how Osaka sounded like she was mentally slow, the butchered Japanese, and that was only based off one episode. This is definitely one series that I'll never watch dubbed, which bums me out a bit. As good as the original audio is, though, that's no big loss...
Re: One Piece—Definitely an anime that deserves more attention. It's just too bad that 4kids pretty much killed One Piece's chance to really grasp a TV audience in the US. FUNimation's dub is stellar, and the story is leagues beyond anything Kishimoto and (especially) Kubo can write. Currently there's 205 dubbed episodes, with more due out this year (FUNi has already started dubbing the next season, which spans from the Davy Back Fight all the way to the beginning of Enies Lobby). It didn't take me too long to get caught up with the anime last year (about 5 months, maybe), and that was because A) I didn't have internet access at home, and B) I didn't start on the subbed version right away, only doing so once I saw that waiting for more dubbed episodes would take quite a while. The only downside to the anime is that Toei has a bad habit of creating plot holes in the anime, especially in canon arcs and dragging episodes out (especially when the anime is getting close to the manga)...
