@Gundamac.... just started watching Gaogaigar for the first time. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Wouldn't have found the series if you hadn't have mentioned it.
It is a great show. What episode are you on? It just keeps getting better as it goes, especially the second half. The only thing I really dislike about it is that they didn't dub the second half, and this was one of the rare cases where the dub cast actually does a better job than the Japanese cast.
@DanteSolablood: I've read the manga already (years ago) and I've been wanting to watch the anime ever since...

I actually jumped straight into episodes 14,15 & 16 (a tank Zonder/Zaku, base takeover & World War 2 super-cannon) because I was only really going to watch a few minutes before leaving the house & ended up watching THREE episodes lol. I actually picked up the whole series & OAVs on one website in subs so I don't know what the dub is like... we should really set up some sort of series trade on this site (remember to always buy the series when it gets released in your region guys!).
BTW, watching the series reminded me of my favourite Youtube toy reviewer doing this REALLY wierd video a few years back & guess what! It involved GaoGaiGar! Watch it here if you're interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FI2JBHbsLsk&feature=relmfu

Ahh, I see! Which do you prefer? Myself I like the manga a little more, just because they don't take the translation toooo seriously. And who's your favourite character? For me it has to be Osaka with her huge imagination and sleepy noggin.

So very soon I'll be done with Full Metal Panic 64: The 2nd Attack. So I have a few series I could watch afterwards
Stein's Gate Mushishi Angel Beats Kimi Ni Todoke season 2 a current season anime an anime I need to continue watching someday(Lupin the 3rd first series, Outlaw Star, Cromartie High School)

Some good series there, especially Angel Beats! I remember watching Outlaw Star many years ago with Gene Starwind LOL. Absolute classic, great themetune and my favourite catgirl of all time.

You really should watch it from the beginning so you can see the progression and development of the characters. I'd also recommend watching it dubbed, but since only half of the series is in English there may not be advisable.

Outlaw Star then Angel Beats. The former because it's just awesome, the other because it's one of the few shows I've found to have a real emotional impact.
And this is the third time someone has come in here asking for 3DS codes. This is as far away from the Friend Code thread as you could possibly get. Why does it keep happening?
Also: I'm "just" 52 episodes into One Piece and I'm tempted to call it the best anime I've ever seen. Everything about it is so appealing, and I'm not even at the "Main story" yet! Too bad I ran out of Dubbed episodes. I can hardly wait to watch more!
I prefer to believe that it's simply getting its timeslot switched. The evidence to the contrary isn't all that substantial.
I've actually got the latest Shonen Jump (Volume 10, Issue 03)... and it's SHONEN JUMP that's ending! After the next issue it's going to be online only and renamed Shonen Jump Alpha, meaning that us UK guys that live on the freebies that come packed within are going to starve!
Well, obviously I may be mixing up two stories but it's quite the coincidence that a story about Bleach coming to an end pops up at the same time that Jump is advertising that it's publication is coming to an end next to lots of pictures of Ichigo.
Oh and while Outlaw Star may be a little long winded, it's more than made up for by it's singularity of fun that hales from Ctarl Ctarl.

I don't read the One Piece or Naruto manga (...anymore) but my brother does and I have a feeling between the new schedule for those series (2 weeks after Japan instead of...whatever it is in magazine version) and him not getting an issue for no reason that my brother's gonna be forced to get volumes just to get random chapters here and there. Which sucks. Also while I always worry this stuff's gonna be gone for arbitrary reasons, this is probably for the best, especially since the internet is the only place that gives a crap about anime anymore.
Is anyone else on here interested in the Kid Icarus animes? While we haven't heard any word about it for quite some time, it is still floating around my head. Knowing the humor in the game, I think the one with Palutena is gonna be hilarious! And I would sure like to know what Medusa went through for the past 25 years...
You should! Outlaw Star is good, old-school stuff!
Yeah, Outlaw Star is good fun. Last fall I watched for the first time since... wow, it must've been when it was on Toonami or very early Adult Swim. It'd been so long that I really didn't remember anything going in beyond who some the main characters were and that awesome opening.
I still like Cowboy Bebop and Trigun more (it's amazing to me that all three came out within a year of each other; 1998 was a great time for sci-fi westerns) but then again, I don't think I'll ever like anything as much as Bebop.
I just found out this is a harem anime, so it's nothing like Sailor Moon. In fact, the only anime of this type that I would ever recommend would be the Tenchi Muyo series.
I'd recommend Love Hina too but that's entirely because it's the first manga I read and for making the genre popular. Anime version is one of the classic examples of butchered anime though.

And so you should, though I would add to this list Onegai Teacher, Ranma 1/2 & Kannagi (though Kannagi is also technically a "magical girlfriend series").
