That was two years ago, when Bleach was still somewhat relevant in the Shonen Jump lineup. Nowadays, though, it's nowhere near the top 3 where it used to reside. I sincerely doubt he'll stretch out a single arc for 10 years. Oh, and I wouldn't count on having all the open-ended questions answered. This is Kubo, after all...

Got it straight from the source. If you look down the page you see "WJ vol.11 on sale 13/2/2012(Mon)! Open with color pages of "BLEACH"! Starting the final chapter!"
I suppose this could be "The Final Chapter" within Shonen Jump & it's going to be printed elsewhere... or they could be planning on a Bleach Z, focussing on a new character. I wouldn't put it past them!
I suppose it'll be a good thing, I'm way behind on Bleach, but all my friends that have kept me up to date are all in agreement that while the art has improved, it's no longer at the top of it's game. At least it's going out ona relative high! Just think back to series that went on too long... Ranma 1/2 for example (one of my all time favourites but went on 10 volumes past it's best).

...actually, everyone I've talked to agrees that the series was long past it's prime, that it should've ended 3 or 4 arcs ago, and that the last arc flat out sucked. It's long past the ability to end on a high note.
I'm like that with games. Never seem to get round to playing some of them. But while I do have a small number of unwatched Anime DVDs, I do watch them. The backlog is mainly from buying lots of stuff when it's dropped in price.
I'm the same way with games, too, as my Backloggery should surely prove. It doesn't help that I've been spending more time watching anime than playing games these past few years.
£300?! Do they sell them at RRP at conventions? Remind me never to go to one. I'd leave penniless!

i also post in the myanimelist forums occasionally, mostly to make fun of sub obsessed entitlement "fans"
I stopped reading Bleach a while ago (in a flashback part with weird chapter names in the hueco mundo arc). Not because of it being bad but because it's so mediocre and there's literally no point to it when you could be reading One Piece or Hunter X Hunter or Reborn! or even Naruto, and that last one apparently everyone wishes ended a year or two ago. Hell Hayate has more credible serious arcs than Bleach did.
also I've heard Negima is ending so this is a bad month for long running shonen titles

Reborn? Finally, someone else on this site who watches/has watched Reborn! Why didn't you ever mention it before? I love that anime, its amazing!!! Its my favourite anime!!! I've still got quite a way to go though as the last episode I saw was episode 96 which is in the arc where they're sent ten years into the future.
Too bad you don't have a PSP, mariofanatic. There's a pretty good Reborn game on there, though it is a fighting game more akin to Melty Blood (a very good game to copy, of course).
Reborn! is fantastic (outside of volumes 5 and 6 when the humor got really old) but Viz decided to not continue the series for no apparent reason so when I get the chance (when I finish one of the dozen manga I've been on for at least a year) I'll catch up on the series on the internet.
Speaking of which, I need to find volume 17 of XXXHolic already. I've found 18 but no 17.
Soul Eater also seems to be in the middle of its climax, so I wouldn't be surprised if it ended soon, too.

But there are 52 episodes in total for the Japanese release. All of them class (it's my 2nd favourite animé out of 17 years of watching).

THREE!!! :lol: That got shut down, then the Manga UK URC chat... and then the Minamicon UK forums, which is my local animé convention site, but I've lapsed a little on all forums recently.
Would you mind me looking at AniméNations Mac? Wouldn't want to bug you on your home turf. :F

How far are you in the anime?
