And of course I don't mind. I put the link in my sig for a reason.
speaking of which, anyone else totally expecting them to pull an FMA: Brotherhood and make another Soul Eater anime that follows the rest of the manga?
Expecting or hoping? I absolutely loved Soul Eater the first time around & even managed to swallow the way they tied up (some of) the loose ends suprisingly quickly BUT I would have preferred it to have been split into more seasons so it could follow Soul & Maka once Soul becomes a deathscythe... even if it's to see Maka in her adorable "deathscythe" sailor fuku.
It's more likely they'll work on the Soul Eater spin-off first "Soul Eater Not!", I've started reading it and it's really good... I'm just a volume in so far. Then they'd work on a new 'HD' version.
Not sure if anyone has seen this series but I have been told it a good series. So anyone familiar with Fists of the North Star series? Like wheres a good place to start the series?

I'm not sure what you're asking here...you can't just start from the beginning?

Well when I look up Fist of the North Star I see several series like an 80's series and a New Fist of the North Star series. Problem is I can seem to find the 80's to watch right now and I dont have the money to buy the series now so do I need to watch that one before New Fist of the North Star to understand whats going on?

New Fist of the North Star is just a 3 episode OVA, which is apparently a spin-off based on a novel. So yeah, you would need to watch the original before you watch this new one. Besides, the original series is on Hulu and Crunchyroll, so it's not like you have to spend money you can't afford.

Hmmm not familiar with Crunchyroll. As for Hulu that gives me a reason to check out Hulu on the Wii .

I'm currently checking out the OVAs for Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. They're cute, but it's a bummer that they don't cover as much as the manga (though that's to be expected). It'd be cool if the series could get a proper anime, but then again, there's a lot of manga series that I'd like to see animated...
"Don't make enemies, they'll stab your heart; don't make friends, they'll stab your back. Including me, including you, all men are trash. Don't love; don't be loved. Have nothing to do with other; live in isolation."
Guys, just watch Angel Beats. Right now. You won't regret it. Just watch. I haven't seen an anime that I've enjoyed so much in a while since Clannad.
Welcome to the club, mac. It really is a great show, one of the most emotionally gratifying I've seen.
Anyways, I've been rewatching One Piece and I just got through the Arlong Arc. That was the arc that most people consider the point where One Piece gets awesome, and I can see why: that's the point where the action actually becomes great. The fights against Morgan, Buggy, Kuro, and Don Krieg were all cool, but they weren't really that memorable. These fights, though, might actually stick with me. It was the first time Luffy was actually vulnerable, the first time it actually felt like they could lose (though I knew they wouldn't). That's kinda what this series has been missing so far. It really ramps up the intensity. Also, Arlong's themed attacks make him the coolest villian so far.
Up next: 16 episodes of pure, unadulterated, Grade A filler.
