@slayer Oops, just noticed you asked about a second village. I just renamed the save file, which forced the game to make a new save. Then I just go back and forth renaming them.
Cool. I'll try that, since random generation is in the game, it's interesting to see what it makes. In mine it's annoying because I have to travel not very long but it's annoying I have to travel about 3 or 4 or even 5 squares from my house to the shop...
I bought the golden statue, nice Zelda reference btw.
Edit: Clever that I did that on the wiki as a wiki contributor, and then I mark who I am on Nintendo Life huh? Problem is GameFAQs people won't recognize me because I'm known to them as 0Games. Don't know why I chose that username...
@slayer Oh, if you're just worried about how far away the shop is, talk to the shop owner about work. If you invest in his project, he'll start selling shop and house movers!

Oh yeah, I invested already quite a bit ago and I never used his tool. What are they called? He said they would be in the catalog but the tools aren't being sold.
@slayer They're not tools, they're considered "decorations" (I'm sorry if it's not clear... I should really work on a manual for Village or something). If you go to the last page of the catalog, you should find the Shop Mover and House Mover items. If not, make sure you actually invested in his project.

Alright, then I have a lot of bug catching, digging, and fishing to do... Those are expensive...
Edit: How did you make a second save file? I can't find out how...
@slayer Go to "File Management", then go to "Rename". On the bottom, look for the "GRP" tab, and go to it. Find "VILDATA", and rename it to whatever you want. When you restart Village, it'll take you through the new game process again. It'll create a new VILDATA file, while your old one is named something else. When you want to switch, rename the current (newer) VILDATA to something else, then go rename the old one back to VILDATA.
This method should work with any game that tests for the existence of a save file, then creates a new one if there isn't any.
@randomous No, I did not implement a screenshot feature. Thought about it, but would take a lot to do if it is even possible with my project. Someone else took that screenshot, and I think it was done via hardware mod that sends the video signal to usb out. Such modifications are expensive if I recall.
That would be something I hope the 3DS version does (like save screenshots and video to SD card).
@Discostew Oohhhh, I thought you took the screenshot. In that case you're right, it probably was taken with some sort of mod. I guess they must have really loved your game lol.
Anyone interested in making a group RPG? Like everyone team up and make our VERY OWN un-official Zelda game? Remember-un-official. Fan-made, nobody can complain that it would copy. Or something else, anything's fine. Lots of people are busy with their projects, but every time someone mentioned a group project nobody really did a group project.
What are you talking about? Coral Maze was a group project. A successful one at that. It won an entry in the competition!
Another group project is open. A sprite game. I invite you (for the umpteenth time) to modify my WITCH game! I even gave you suggestions on the kind of games you can do. So, put up or shut up. You want a group project? There you go. Or are you just trolling complains?
@ramstrong although I agree with you, you do not have to be so harsh.
@slayer group projects have been done before. Most were successful. In fact Coral Maze got compliments for being done be people many miles from each other. However, A group project usually randomly comes up. Asking people if they want to do one almost never works. If you want a group rpg so badly, Make a program workable with then ask others if they want to contribute (Story, music, etc) Once you get a few people working on the same program, others will want to join too, and you'll get a nice, happy team. Thats pretty much what happened with Coral Maze. With stuff like this, don't merely suggest it, DO IT.
When they said they were doing a group project, they never posted any progress HERE. I never would have known if you guys hadn't told me. Anyway, @ramstrong I might try out WITCH today. For now I will play Team Fortress and Half Life, but later I will take a look at WITCH.

Perhaps he wanted to start something else. Perhaps YOU should be a bit more friendly. He's NOT trolling, he's merely stating his wishes. Kindness goes a long way, @Ramstrong!
Working on Gladiators sprites right now and I need to know the SPOFS data for the red-haired sprite. I can take it from there. I know the color part, the actual sprite though.
Edit: Unless SPOFS data isn't much needed, I don't understand custom sprites very well at all.

I hope it was clarified that I meant when people had free time. I will when I'm done with my two games, I'll either carry out the Ghost Scrolls series on my own or have a team. But again I hope you know I am not the kind of person that wants or intends to waste other people's time.
