@Morphtorok Lol it's a total hack though. I basically redraw the whole screen using GPUTCHR instead of the normal SPSET or BGFILL. I wish it were easier... there really should be a "proper" way to do this lol.
The "proper" way to do it would be to go into the BG data, extract bits from it. Reconstruct it bit by bit to GPSET, and do for every layer and sprites. Then, if you want to get fancy, take the data in GRP and compress it to jpg/png.
I think you did the right thing.
@ramstrong Lol well if the alternative is that, I think I'll stick with my way.
@Morphtorok It would be super cool if the 3ds itself could generate the QR codes. It's not like it would take much longer than the website version... not really.
@ramstrong looks like V2 won. I personally prefer V3 but I'm proud of all 3. I like your rotation idea. My blog uses a random header but it would be cool to have different logos for different occasions (first day of summer, Christmas, etc)

I assume you can't just save the entire thing as a GRP since you're using sprites... ( I just updated my version of Village before you came out with this one. Well, time to rescan...)
If Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat were all destroyed, 90% of teens would go insane. If you're one of the 10% that would be laughing at them, copy & paste this into your signature and hope it happens.
@IAmAPerson I'm sorry! If it makes you feel any better, unless you find more bugs, it's going to stay this way for quite some time. 1.2.5 was supposed to be the last one for quite a while... but I had the sudden urge to add screenshots lol. You can thank @Discostew for that... I'm assuming that's how you (Discostew) got the MM2 picture on the Wiki right? You set up a way to take screenshots in the program? Well, even if you didn't, your MM2 picture on the wiki drove me to make it all of the sudden.

Don't worry about it. I'm gonna try to find a way to obtain dead flowers now. •gulp•

@IAmAPerson That one is really easy! All you have to do is add the "obtainable" property to dead flowers. The values that define properties are located near the top of the program, btw. To make dead flowers obtainable, just go down to the bottom and find the "SPCLASS" data section. In the second to last row of data, you'll see two 50's near the end; these are dead flowers. Just add one to these (to get 51) and voila! You can now dig up dead flowers to obtain them.
Messing with the SPCLASS of items can give you very interesting results. What if you made bridges "Digable" and "Obtainable"? Or what if you made trees "Hammerable"? Or maybe you'll remove the "Obstacle" property from various objects lol.

I was also talking about making them sellable to the shop. And also, how to save Village without messing everything up?

Well, I updated Village to include the ability to take screenshots. Try it out! You can put the screenshot GRPs on your computer and load them up with PTC Utilities to get a real image! Just make sure you get the COL file that goes along with it too.
@Hairmanban19 It always makes me really happy when people enjoy Village. Thank you!
Amazing! One part I always loved about developing your own game is you get to play it first every time.
EDIT: @randomous I looked at the wiki and saw you had a second village. Do you just start a new game and it will make another save file?
@randomous I find it amusing that you're just telling me how to mod your game. Dangit. SPCLASS doesn't make any sense! Just a bunch of numbers! I changed a few but it didn't seem to change anything.

@IAmAPerson If you've got some background in binary and algebra, I've got a blog post that talks about how SPCLASS is implemented. Hopefully it'll make some sort of sense lol. Remember, the properties are up near the top, if you need to know the numbers.
What's the point of keeping stuff hidden when the code is entirely open? That's just mean lol.
Anyone interested in making a group RPG? Like everyone team up and make our VERY OWN un-official Zelda game? Remember-un-official. Fan-made, nobody can complain that it would copy. Or something else, anything's fine. Lots of people are busy with their projects, but every time someone mentioned a group project nobody really did a group project.

Sorry if it sounds harsh, but there's probably a reason for that.
Not harsh at all. I do notice everyone is focusing on their games. Usually I can't help myself but as to sneak a little code into Apocalypse Rising when I should be working on the game closest to alpha release.
I can't wait until Gladiators is finished and I only have one project. I trick myself like that.
Edit: I was actually kind of screwing around and playing Dragon Quest and a bit of Zelda: Spirit Tracks but I can't spend ALL of my time programming. I need my breaks. I'll open Petit Computer right now and see what I can do to update some progress right now.
And what always bugs me is that I still have that DSi menu when more than half the people here have that detailed 3DS menu...

Yaaaay!
I was trying to convince myself that I didn't care but a part of me was convinced that it mattered. Lol.
@slayer Oops, just noticed you asked about a second village. I just renamed the save file, which forced the game to make a new save. Then I just go back and forth renaming them.
