Sounds like a good idea for an app, although obsolete due to the lack of previous generations. Pretty hard to complain though.

Here's hoping 'free' is a sign of things to come. I'm willing to pay for apps of course, but certainly not things like clocks and calculators ala DSiWare...let alone 'flashlights'.

Its proably 'the first hit is free' mentality, which im not complaining about. Nintendo give us a limited pokedex knowing that everyone who likes pokemon would want the full Dex at some point and probaby through a combination on paid additional downloads and or downloads included with future pokemon retail games fans would eventualy get a definitive complete pokedex.
As a casual Pokemon player im looking forward to playing around with the app but I think im satisfied with a free limited Pokedex, I mean its free so who can complain.
