Some said this game would have a weak difficulty level but I think this games difficulty is right on par with that of the Super Mario's from the 1990's. I'm enjoying this game!!!!!!!!!

I got this game today!!!!!!!!! The game is awesome!!!!!!!! Its like Super Mario bros.3 and new Super Mario.wii and its also like Mario galaxy and it has its own unique twist It feels weird to play it on my 3DS because its a type of game you usually play on the wii. This game is super awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just made it to the Haunted Mansion but then I decided to stop as I love the Boo Mansions in Super Mario games! I don't want to blast through the whole game like zoom but it's so much fun and it's hard to put it down once you begin playing.

Man this game is so much fun. Why did Nintendo have to give it shortish levels!? It's so much fun and hard to put down. So I go back and look for star medals I missed to keep playing. There's one medal I can't find in world 4! I played through the level 5 times. The 3D effect is so good in 5-1.
I really wish the game had an item inventory on the map like the game it is trying most to evoke. It's frustrating to get to a level and realize you need a specific item to get the star coin and that item is not in that level. The leaf isn't too hard to track down, but I need to find a level with a fire flower.
I can't find the last Star Coin in World 2-2, I went through the entire level twice and didn't see it.
If you enjoyed New Super Mario Bros. Wii and if you like the GREAT classic that SMB3 was then you'll certainly enjoy Super Mario 3D Land. I think the game is worth every penny. It has exceptionally good graphics, it takes home console graphics and imbues that with the spirit that is at the heart of classic 2D sidescrolling Mario games.
