"SteamWorld Heist is a game about space adventures and survival. Recruit a team of ragtag robots to explore and scavenge the remains of a destroyed world. Board enemy ships and command your crew in a unique variety of turn-based combat."
Steamworld Dig was a surprising hit with me. So I'll be taking a good look at this. 2D turned based stratagy sounds like something I'd be really into. Like XCOM, but from the side instead of the top.
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
I wasn't a huge fan of the gameplay of Steamworld Dig but the graphics and general atmosphere were awesome (those sweet western tunes). I'll gladly take another game in this universe.
I'm really disappoint about the attention this game has been getting by users. Dig went under the radar and many heard about how good it was and had to try it for themselves. I'm not sure this game has the appeal because of gener. At first I was a bit disappointed Dig 2 wasn't announced but I think I may like this even more then dig because I like the genre.
Well here's hoping lightening can strike twice for them as this game looks really polished!

I got the game today. Didn't really look like something that'd interest me but I like to follow the reviews so got it because it's sitting at 86 on metacritic.
Bit slow to start but definitely has a lot of potential.
Anyone got further than me yet? Does it continue to build?
@Dezzy: well it depends on how far you got. I'm about 8 to 10 missions in and have recruted 3 players so far. It gets challenging pretty quick and the ships get big. There different objectives in a lot of them as well so there is definitely variety.
@Spoony_Tech: Only one mission in but I'm liking it. Question...does only the many bot have a sight line for aiming the shot? Also, isn't there supposed to be a free 3ds theme?
@MERG: When I purchased the game there was a button after I downloaded it that said "Use" to download the theme.
I would have never guessed Weezing was so useful until I played a HeartGold Nuzlocke! My YouTube Channel! Video game related, of course! My Pushmo Levels
@MERG: I got the free theme. I'm in Europe but I think it's worldwide. The code was shown once you go past the choice for Sleep Mode Download or Download Now and there was a choice to use it right away without having to write it yourself. The code for the theme should be visible when you go to the eShop and select titles you've downloaded from the menu.
EDIT: I opened the eShop and took a look for better guidance. Open the eShop, touch the menu button on the upper right corner, click settings, choose account activity and find the right receipt (should be on top if it's the newest game you downloaded) and scroll down until you find the code.
@MERG: It's her weapon type that allows her to do that. I'm sure there will be others that do as well. For instance I have another weapon that has one but it's extremely short range and only shows about 3 feet in from of the bot.
