probably WiiU VC that sneaked in the 3DS Eshop(it happens sometimes, but you can't actually buy them)

It happens all the time actually. I see Wii U games get listed by mistake. I wouldn't be surprised if they just combined the servers into one shop

Current games: Everything on Switch

Yoshi

Picture quality is better the the Smash Bros. "leaks".

Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

The servers are already combined which is why this happens.

I thought it was just what somebody who had bought the game in question had also bought on the same nnid. (Wii U or 3DS doesn't matter).

Happens to me all the time. Before I was linked to the Wii U version of Solomon's Key. Why not 3DS?
You can view 3DS software on Wii U so they must be on the same server. Hopefully an update allows me to purchase Wii U games away from home and have them download while I'm out, That would be cool.
